Education › Re: Mass Communication Degree To Be Phased Out As Professors Submit New Curricula by Ibime(m): 11:21pm On Feb 08, 2019
Richdad50:
I once said that I will never allow anyone I know to study 'Mass Communication' as a Degree. A roudy degree. They have the highest number of unemployable graduates in Nigeria.
Nothing pisses a recruiter than seeing a Mass Communication Degree on a Resume. Believe me. A recruiter once told me in confidence that he had preferred a Public Administrator to a Mass Communicator. No offence.

#Richdad
That was how one of my cousin shunned our advice to study law and went to chase Masscom degree despite our warnings. Till today, I have not and will not contribute one Kobo to her studies.

That is good news for the family. Which of the clubs effected the policy for him, I am guessing it's Cardiff. If that's the case, that means Cardiff is sure going to pay that 15m in full to Nantes o
I'm not sure Insurance covers him personally though, or just Cardiff for the asset

I think you are missing the point. What I think he's trying to tell you is Insurance especially life insurance does not work the way you think it to be. For you to be covered under a life policy you must have undergone a medical test which the insurance company Will assess along with you current annual earnings (multiples of which will be the cash payout in the event of your death). It is only after this that you can pay premium(cost of insurance) and then be said to be covered under the policy. There are instances where the person might just be added to an existing group policy arranged for member of staff, but even as at that the company( in this case the club) will still need to provide your personal details and financial details to the insurer for them to arrange cover for him.

Obviously none of this is in place yet because just like Ibime rightly said, the paper work may not actually be completed as at the time of the crash.

You Claim about insurance folding up and being a huge gamble is not really true. Insurers have Reinsurers who also insure their own risks as well. Wherever risk they insure, they re-insure a proportion of it with reinsurers. When there is a loss, the reinsurers contribute to the payout in the same proportion they re-insure the original risk. Insurance business is a big business in the western world and some insurance companies are so big they own banks and other businesses
I'm reading this morning that his Insurance had gone through actually. I had read initially that it was unlikely insurance would be in place by this stage.

You always live in fantasy land, with no dose of reality. After now, you will come and tell us you advised Hazard should stay but people wey no know ball did not listen.

The man has basically let it be known he wants to leave, you are talking another thing.

that was careless, 15 million pounds asset lost like that

They should fire their lawyers, insurance should have been their first agenda, when dealing with that kind of figure, you need to cover all angles
All transfers take days before Insurance is completed.

You have to fill in forms, which need to be assessed by the counterparty etc before an offer is made.

This is the equivalent of buying a car and crashing it before you get home to complete Insurance papers, or your new house burning down the day after exchange of keys. No one is to blame.

Don't be surprised if Higuain Insurance paperwork is still going through right now.

all clubs insure their players

If Cardiff added him to their plan, then it's the insurance company that will pay it, but if they didn't then Cardiff are going to have to pay everything

Given the way clubs are operated nowadays, I'm sure that they added him to their plan, so the insurance company will be the one to pay in this case,
No, he wasn't insured. Insurance is completed days after the transfer. Cardiff have full liability. They said they would pay but they need to ratify all the transfer documents. In other words, they are looking for a loophole in the transfer documents to reduce their liability.

The one that concerns me is Salah did not have his own insurance yet, so his family are due nothing. There is moral pressure on both clubs to provide something for his family.

Piatek is scoring against Napoli and Roma, Higuain just Huddersfield so far at prolly 3 times his wages. OK, make we dey watch. Put up the money for Bakayoko and we'll call it even.

That's what annoys me the most. He doesn't even blame himself. Why should they learn a style of play that hasn't won anything?
I honestly don't like managers that can't adapt to players strengths when the system they want to play shows obvious weaknesses. AVB and Scolari were the same.
