u said ur interview is on 15th of nov,my dear i ll advice u try ur luck and be there 2day cos d result ll tk 3 days b4 it ready and i tot going to d clinic on moday ll be too late. pls try ur luck to be there 2day cos i dnt think they opperate on a saturday.gd luck
I think he (gunners4u) should use d Ikoyi clinic instead (25 Raymond Njoku Street, Ikoyi) because 1. They work on Saturdays, but I think they close by 3 on sat 2. Their medicals is 12k instead of 13k for Q-life But I don't think they will VACCINATE him without his paying d full cost... Medicals is 12k, Vaccination is 17k... so my advice will b to raise d money over d weekend. Do his medicals + vaccinations on monday anc collect results on thursday... But wait o! Thursday is 15th! So there's a big complication for him... I wonder why he's waiting until today to make all these moves... So I'll have to change my initial advice and urge him to go today and do d medicals. Mayb if he explains to dem, they may allow him do medicals today and get vaccinated on monday and then collect on wednesday (d eve of his interview)... I'll want to warn against this attitude... 2 people who came with me to collect their results were told to go for ECG (an additional treatment)based on d results of dier medicals and dis additional treatment cost them 10k... So they ended up paying 38,500 total... And they were told when to come for their results... I hope gunners4u doesn't require that... So my ppl, pls don't relax when u get your 2nd NL; get on your feet and pursue this God-given opportunity with all thy might... |
gunners4u: Pls is it possible for d medical hospital to collect half payment & pay d remain money wen i want collect my resultI DON'T think it is possible... D medicals proper cost 12k... Vaccines cost about 17k... So if u pay only medicals- u won't get vaccinated... So it better u wait until d money is ready- so u don't spend transport to Ikoyi thrice instead of twice |
gunners4u: Tanks for d info,@ibracadabra did u collect ur result d day u do ur medicalNo, I was told to come back in 3 days.... |
gunners4u: Pls room, hw much is d medical fee. I was given two hospitals one@ vi & other @ ikoyi. Pls can they accept initial depoistI did mine last week @ d Ikoyi address... The Consultant's Practice is d name of d hospital and I spent 28,500 including vaccines and all... So budget 30 grand and that should do... All d best |
temmytanny: Please, lets get back to the main issue of this threadTemmy, how are you settling in? Please I want to ask: did photocopy the police certificate when u went for your interview or did you leave it stapled like it was given to u? If yes; did you also photocopy d second page that had your finger prints on it? Secondly, for those who used NPC birth certificate (I remember Temmy used Local Govt); did u guys photocopy your NPC and also d affidavit you used in getting it? Pls any suggestions and answers hitherto would b priceless |
brightmon: give me ur email and i will reply you.I'm sorry: but my email is my full name... I wouldn't wanna reveal it on this public forum... But it's okay... Thanks all d same |
brightmon: check ur emailPls what's your email bro? |
Hey guys... My interview is at d corner... Infact in less than 2 weeks. I have all my documents ready and just dry-cleaned my suit for the D-Day ... I want to thank everybody for their support as d days wind down and I hope my interview will b very successful... My NPC, medicals, police certificate were all made easy by this forum. You guys furnished me with directions, instructions and guidelines to get these documents ready in a place like Lagos which I'm otherwise not familiar with. So thanks a million again and I hope to share my success story in 2 weeks. That said, I need to know how to arrange my documents. Which ones to photocopy (I know d medicals won't b pphotocopied cos they're sealed)... So I would appreciate if anyone who has been interviewed could help me with details of how a single applicant (with no derivatives) should arrange his papers- how many envelopes, how many photocopies and stuff like that... God bless you |
emebeteaderashn: Hello house i just call kcc and asked them about my case status and i have been told that my documents were completely processed last week and i should expect my 2nd NL with in two weeks...Okay man... You should b relaxed... Two weeks from today is 22nd and that's usually about d time they send 2ND NLs.. So it's in order... America awaits you |
lonpy lonpa: i believe it can still be possible because to the best of my knowledge KCC has never release a visa bulletin on the 7th of a month it has always been on the 15th.No,that's not true... I've been following the Visa Bulletins for 2013 and they ALWAYS come BEFORE the 15th... This is not an exception... Since this was posted today on dier website; then we should stop arguing whether it's real or not... After all; MOST other regions experienced an increase (Except Nigeria)... Now, while this bulletin is strange; I think it makes sense... Especially because no 2ND NLs were delivered to my Nigerian sisters and brothers in d previous month... That was odd; but this irons it out... So instead of saying this bulletin is fake (even tho it is on d American Govt site and has January on it); let us exercise some patience, keep our fingers crossed and inter lock our fingers in prayers |
saakeem2003: Hello House I wish to congratulate those who have been able to get their visa and pray for others that God Almighty should see us throughI'm within your category 7***, but I submitted first week of May... So that's y I believe I have my 2ND NL while yours is on the way... I strongly feel you'd b interviewed in DEC, but that's only a calculated guess... I hope u got an acknowledgement of delivery from d postal medium u used or wrote to KCC to confirm receipt of your document... If so, I see no cause for alarm. I find it a bit odd that no 2ND NL's were issued this month- and its 31st already. I got mine on 20th of last month- and I think d people in August got theirs on d 23rd or so... I feel those who haven't gotten theirs should b a bit patient and take solace in d fact that it is d US government handling this- and not some corrupt govt. If the Visa Bulletin says 8500-10,000 will b current in Dec, then b rest assured that their word is their bond... And one more thing: follow it up with faith and prayer |
@ibracadabra ve u done ur medical?
Yes o! I did my NPC, medicals and Police Report yesterday! And when I got to d house in d evening, I was so tired, but I felt like SUPERMAN lol... I had to go to d High Court in Ikeja- which because of d ban on Okada, was too stressful because d court is in GRA Ikeja. Anyway, I eventually got der by 9 and as soon as I alighted from my keke marwa, a full breasted woman came running to me- All she said was "Affidavit"? I nodded and we proceeded into d court premises. She asked me to sit down and asked what sorta affidavit I needed. I told her it was an age-declaration affidavit and she said I needed an older family member to swear on my behalf. To cut long story short- I ended up parting with 1 thousand bucks and in 30 mins I left d court smiling and off to surulere for my NPC attestation of birth... I provided photocopy of my affidavit, my Intl Passport data page, 2 passport photographs and typed one form like that theu gave me for 100 bucks. I then deposited 2,500 and was told to come pick up my birth certificate on d 12th... I was relieved spending a total of 3500 instead of d 8k I was told to bring by d Mr Lawan... Anyway, that spurred me- I went to Ikoyi immediately, stopped at Falomo bus stop and just before d Bus stop is Raymond Njoku Street wherein d Consultant's Practice Hospital is located.. I was given a slip to go to Zenith bank and pay 12k... I did immediately as Zenith bank is just a stone's throw from der. When I returned to d hospital, I was given a red tag with which I did my blood tests, then X-Ray, then a sexy female doc did a body check-up on me.. It was a delightful experience and she asked y I was headed to Hurricane Sandy territory... Anyway... I ended up paying an extra 16,500 for vaccines- bringing my total medicals cost to N28,500... I was told to come back on Friday... I checked my watch, it was 10 past 2pm and I took a cab to Alagbon Police Station (cab cost me 1k cos there were no bikes and d sun was ever blazing) anyway, I got der and a young man named Ahmed came to my aid. He took me in and had a police lady take my finger prints- all ten fingers- and then in 30 minutes my police character certificate was ready- signed and sealed... I gave Ahmed 5k for his troubles, but I'm sure if I went in alone, I may have bargained a much cheaper cost... But I didn't mind- and just like I said, I was tired, but felt like a Superman...Apologies for d long post |

@ Temmy, Gentinger, Adesoji and any other person who has knowledge about how this age declaration affidavit for NPC works, I have a problem.. I've been told that to get d NPC age attestation, that I need to swear an affidavit... Now I just found out from someone that I CANNOT swear an age declaration affidavit by myself (because I wasn't there when I was born) but that I need to get my dad, or mom or elder relative to swear it on my behalf... Now here's the problem- I just got into Lag few days ago and there's no family of mine I can call on here... Is there any way around this bottle neck or do I just pay the 8k to d NPC guy (who asked me pay and he'd take care of everything) to sort this all out for me? Any help would b deeply appreciated |

tosrich: I did, though I had stop-over in Abu Dhabi and its a long one that extends to the following day.. my POE was Chikago and there was no issues at all, everythig went as planned. Am currently in Minnesota State...the SSN processing here is just 2weeks. cant wait to get it so that Son of man can get busy..Congrats bro... I'm planning on Minnesotta as well- this december by God's grace... How did you connect your flight? I gues u used Qatar or Emirates... How much did it cost u per head? |
Still on d NPC matter... a)Can someone who was born in a different state- say Benue- get his NPC attestation from another state- say Lagos?... Pls your urgent assistance is required... b) Earlier in d pages of this thread, a certain mr Lawan's number was put forward as an NPC employee who could help.. I called him and he charged 8 grand to get everything done- including court affidavit and attestation proper... |
Pls I need directions to NPC office in Lagos... Bus directions if possible... Thanks a mill |
jidex001: I will advice you, please go to lagos Now. Well I think police report is like a day or 2days and medical is like 4days. What if their is delay. Which we don't pray for. God will provide for you financially. Thanks bro... I'll follow your advice. I wouldn't sacrifice this opportunity on the altar of finance... Have u had your interview or you're still awaiting yours? All the best |
Don Kool: Consider this also - your medical is valid for 6 months, so you have 6 months from it date of issue to leave for the US, IF not you'll need to repeat it.Thank you very much... I think I'll just Ĝø this week and get it off my chest, then return for the interview... It appears the safest option.. Thank you again and God bless you... Have u had your interview or are you waiting? Goodluck if you're still awaiting yours |
Good day folks... I'm planning a trip to Lagos- so I have my medicals and do d police report there. Because I don't live there, I'm making inquiries from some of you about a few things so I plan my trip well. My interview is in 4 weeks from now. I want to know how long (on d average) it takes to get d medicals and police report done... If I go to lag 2 weeks to my interview, would it b too late to get everything (medicals n police report) done in time? Or is it advisable to just go now... Making two trips would tell on me financially- so I'm trying to- proverbially speaking- kill 2 birds with a single stone... What do u advice is d best course of action? Go now or wait a week or two? Thank you for your usual assistance |
malcon: 2 passport photo u.s. sizeGod bless you... You've been most helpful... Could u also enlighten me on the police report breakdown requirements for Alagbon? |
@ Atseyi: thank u very much... U know how rowdy Lagos is and I hate working under stress... So I want to know all details like photocopies, passports and all... So thanks again |
Who is this fraudster? |
Good evening everybody... I want to inquire from those who hv done their medicals what to take along with me for mine. I know I need to take 2 passport photographs and my intl' passport. Wanna know if I need to print out any forms or if I could just walk into any of d two hospitals with my passport n passports... Thanks |
femsoj: thanks for the maturity shown in your response. This is a mature and polity way to respond and also to correct someone even if that person is wrong.u are not like some people who are looking for a slite opportunity to insult others(like the person telling me to stop mis leading people)@ Femsoj... I am sorry if I attacked your person. That was not my intention.. Again, I'm sorry... May God prosper us all in our individual endeavours |
Versatile007: Dear beloved brothers and sisters, i am very thrilled by how you people just decided to help me with this DV lottery program issue. Well, i wish to thank God and you people immensely for replying on what i posted. Although i am a new member of Nairaland, and i have been reading your posts, and i really enjoyed it, in fact, i am still relishing it, that was why i decided to register to Nairaland. The real truth, is that i hate everything about Nigeria, even though i am a Nigerian, since i was eleven years old, i do despise it as a country, and i am seventeen years old now. I only applied for this program this year, and i know by the grace of God, i and you are already a selectee(winner) as well as all of us here( all members that has not win) in Jesus name amen! And conspicuously, i know that some of you guys will harangue or vituperate me for saying that i hate my own country, but i am not proud to be a Nigerian period! I know also that no where, i mean no country is easy, but i rather stay in another country other than Nigeria. And, i have concrete infers(reasons) for saying this. My name, is Versatile Ani, if Nigeria can help better their country, i will help too by the grace of God. Palpably, i am an upcoming computer scientist/ analyst.Well you're seventeen and you're entitled to your opinions... While we pray for a safe transition to America (the land of opportunity), we needn't disparage our country, but pray for it |
femsoj: u can do your police report and even your medical in any state.for example, people in Oyo state can do their police report at Dugbe(i ve forgotten the name)and also the medical can be done at adeoyo hospitalPlease, do not adhere to this advice... If you have been invited for an interview, kindly Ĝø to Alagbon Police station for your police report and for your medicals, use ONLY any of: Q-Life Family Clinic Plot 155A Prince Ade Odedina Street Off Ajose Adegun, Victoria Island Annexe Lagos, Nigeria Telephone: 01-804-2000, 01-726-2840 Cell: 0702-770-4055 and... The Consultants Practice The Children’s Practice 25 Raymond Njoku Ikoyi Lagos Telephone: 01-893-0723, 01-461-1941 Cell: 0706-585-9845 @femsoj, your intentions may b good, but please don't mislead people... I know we are all here to learn, but if you don't have your facts right, don't teach em |
