In 2013, I bought a 50 inch 720p TV. Everything was crisp on the TV. Today TVs are 1080p or 4k. Your 480p video will not look good.watch different sizes of videos on your pc. I use daum pot player which will play the videos at their actual resolution. Maximize a 480p video and you will immediately see the blurring.

I stopped messing with overly compressed video when I realized how those 10 in one dvds ruin your viewing experience.

If you take the time to curate your suppliers on the high seas you can get fair sized 720p and 1080p

Good for you, meanwhile not everyone can afford to download 720p and 1080p videos.

Getting a fair sized "720p and 1080p" is still comprising on quality IMO. I once got a fraudulent "1080p" at 900mb for a movie of about 2hrs runtime, of course i can't begin to tell you how bad the quality was.

PSA and MTB release group have the best quality x265 low size file in recent years, even at that a standard movie with a run-time of at least 1hr:30mins will average a size of between 700mb - 900mb for 720p and between 1.4gb to 2.0gb for 1080!... That's a whole month's data plan for most people in this clime!.

Lemme me talk about the devices...I kid you not... most devices in this clime are still running Andriod versions as low as Kit kat and lollipop with an average ram of 2gb so the codec for playing x265 1080p natively is missing, so even with the app of a third party app, the files will stutter. Tvs that have support for low size x265 encodes are the ones made most likely after 2016. People in this clime still use a 2012 Samsung 42inches plasma with only native support for Mp4 and x264 Mkv files.

Let's face it..people download movies, see them, and save them to send out to friends or re see again. Most people in this clime won't have the storage space to save the numerous 720p or 1080p movies and series that comes out weekly... Someone with a 32gb, 64gb or 128GB Rom or Sdcard will run out of space in months. I and a friend had a challenge in 2020 to only cop 1080p and 4k files with a little 720p, and i tell you, it has cost me alot of money and time, i am on my 4th External Hard Disk with my total 1080p files at a ridiculous 2.2TB! at the moment.

I have always preached the gospel of getting quality 1080p or 720p at least but i have seen enough reasons and constraints while is convenient for most people to just cop 480p at best and move long ..NN and recently Nkiri has made things relatively better for these folks...in the days of Fz and Movies mobile....A whole movie could just be 100mb! and an average series episode was 60mb.

Leaks from the flash reveals/indicate that WB's plan was to forge a new Universe with Batgirl and Supergirl as the faces, and Keaton's Batman as a mentor figure...Wonder Woman and Aquaman would be retained ( Most likely for their trilogies and cameos here and there).
This doesn't sit well with Zaslav who wants to move with Bruce Wayne and Clark...
He considers movies like Wonder Twins, Batgirl(not helped by terrible test screening reactions) and incidentally, Supergirl surplus to requirements....
The Flash will most likely get reshoots again or edit out the setting up part(Batgirl and Supergirl) which is more likely in further post production...The gist currently is that The Flash has no internal release date but shelving it is not an option...

HboMax suffers in all this because Discovery is in a lot of debt following their purchase of WB and Zaslav doesn't need things that won't drive subscription, might receive negative reviews and most likely, won't do anything tangible at the B.O(Summary, he needs revenue and he needs it like yesterday).. So he's canning HBOmax originals, auctioning the ones that can get buyers,will most likely shift the ones he thinks will do well to HBO if they aren't made under HBOmax before the merger (Peacemaker S2)...

WB are just using the bad screen text as an excuse.
According to THR, both Batgirl and Shazam 2 tested in the 60s ( i.e 60% of the audience loved it). For context, MCU films have consistently tested in the 80s.

But WB isn't going after Shazam 2.
So I have to wonder why they would axe one surplus to requirement movie and spare another when both didn't "test very well."

I think WBD want to move in a cohesive direction, and I suspected something like this would happen when they brought Affleck back.

Zack Snyder has been hinting a lot at things and this could be him coming back. Ray Fisher tweeted something the minute news broke that Batgirl was cancelled.

Every month, all we hear or see is one low-budget DC movie being greenlighted by them... The former board tends to arm-twist everyone into their shit, except a few who I believe are/is not ready to shift ground... Black Adam is one great example. You can easily see the quality difference in Black Adam from Shazam: Fury of the gods. The superiority (in terms of quality) Black Adam is wielding of Shazam is very visible to the eyes. Maybe because of Dwayne is literally a juggernaut in Hollywood and he's doing so much for the movie to be a big success.

From what little I gleaned from the Black Adam trailer, it's looking like just another generic Rock film where Rock does a bunch of Rock stuff.
I don't think making a steroid addicted middle-aged actor - who has a clause in his contract mandating that he will always win one on one fights - the face of DC is a step in the right direction.
Axing a completed movie is a testament to that inherent incompetency.
Zaslav has his work cut out for him.

Doubt Morgoth would be any kind of villain seeing as the First Age ended with his defeat. Wouldn't make sense for him for him to be a villain in a tale set in the Second Age.

If the timeline of the series is from the second age as someone has claimed, then it takes place during his time.
Should chronicle his rise to power, defeat, rise to power again, and eventual defeat after the Last Alliance.
After which follows the events in The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

There's a simpler way of telling the difference between Sci-fi and supernatural genre.
In sci-fi, there is some sort of scientific explanation for the unreal things.
In Supernatural, unreal things defy scientific explanation.
In Sci-fi, fantasy stories are given plausibility with scientific explanation.
In Supernatural, plausibility is thrown out of the window as fantasy fully embrace the outrageous.

A simple zombie apocalypse film is a fantasy story with scientific explanation, therefore, a sci-fi film.
A vampire film is a fantasy story without a scientific explanation, therefore, a supernatural horror film.

These two genres have elements that sometimes overlap, but collectively, their respective elements are portrayed very differently.
