2. Show good faith by being truthful about how many people died last night and compensate their families.

3. Stop hiring thugs to disrupt peaceful protests and provide security to those who still choose to peacefully protest .

4. Use non-lethal force aka tear gas, rubber bullets, water canons and sonic booms to disperse problematic protests.

5. When the situation is under control we need to talk about how we wish to proceed as a nation.

Buhari doesn't have any wise advisers, he think this is military regime, how many people the army go fit shoot.
Can the Nigeria army fight 20 million youths. That man is really not thinking well for him to pull of what he did last night.

the whole world knows that when the military steps in to quell a civil unrest , there are bound to be casualties , reason why they are always the last resort . i am sure those who escaped yesterday , if in about 30years from now , the army is brought in to quell a civil riots they will quickly advise the youth then to leave .
And with the events of the previous day in edo , the prison breaks , looting , rape and arson , whether the protest was hijacked or not , it was just a matter of time before the military steps in and they did give the warning 3 times last week . the situation was fast getting out of control and even falz and other people who were supporting the youth were hurriedly giving instructions for protesters to go back home and leave the streets .

Which one be looting n rape for the matter. N u are very wrong sef, after what happened last night the likes of dj switch n other protesters still went out this morning. Our generation aren't as weak as u guys.

Secondly we know this is all govt plan. The protests has been going on for over two weeks n it has been peaceful, all of a sudden hoodlums been sponsored by the state started harassing the protesters, n destroying properties.

U Don't need a magician to tell u the hoodlums were start sponsored, proof are all over Twitter.

Then buhari n tinubu brought army to shoot at unarmed protesters, worst mistake ever. He has forgotten the army is over stressed with very low moral at the moment.

Nigeria youth in the 3 southern region out numbered the army by millions, Niger Deltan militants are also in the corner observing.

Bringing everything together, u see that this is a loose battle for the Nigeria army. This generation ain't scared, we just want a better country n we want it now. We are not going to play to the card of the older generation.

Besides the shooting went on for hours, it started around 6. They first removed CCTV camera, then they switched off all light n stated shooting.

The Police simply should refer the matter to the state AG who will decide on the evidence provided by the Police if to go to trial. If the evidence or case is weak, the AG dismisses the case and orders the Police to release. If the AG sees there is enough evidence then he or she assigns the case to the Public prosecution office to charge the person to court.

Police prosecution should be limited to non-,felony cases and only cases that can lead to a fine conviction or. Sentence of less than 6mths.
