Let me answer you as an elderly person;
No age limit for PG -postgraduate programs
Relevance of PG course must correspond to previous UG course and work experience
Proof of finances for married applicant is much more than single applicants- its not 1 answer fits all.
DIT/TUD and Griffith may not require IELTS / other english proficiency test,
CIT requires with outstanding results in BSc

English proficiency test for the last time is required for visa application.

Am not rude , just excellently brilliant at what i do to the glory of GOD!!!

On this page alone just 4 days ago 18th Jan, 2019 someone asked the same question which I answered. I created this thread because I want to help people like yourself get guided information.
Am sorry you feel offended by my answer , seriously there is no reason to feel offended- you're not paying me at the end of the day, you will go to UKEAS who gets paid.

Am referring you to speak to your agent because most of Nairalanders have agents they are working with and only disturb my phone to get information.
No one pays me to do these and if I see that I've provided answer to similar questions, I don't think it's worthwhile stressing myself to do so repeatedly.

Your spouse can apply for a tourist visa to visit you but you can't sponsor their visit.
Those 2 statements are different.

Also it is a BBs in Accounting & Finance? How good is the degree as I chose the most relevant to my previous education history and job.

My professional advice is make sure the bachelors is level 8, level 7 won't get you the post study work permit and may not get you a job as a foreigner in Ireland.

Yes , most definitely if you have credit in English for O-levels; but then its still required for visa application.

YES, but only for PhD students.

So much emphasis are being laid on the IT sector, I believe the health sector is also a gold mine there, how about the Engineering sector, what chances do M.Eng students stand upon graduation, I'm coming in for M.Eng/MsC Mechanical Engineering for 2019...

Everyone has a chance with at least the 2 years work permit.

Wouldn't it be better to apply to something in digital marketing or public relations and then self study and write IT certifications as a means of entering into the IT field proper? Could be a way to kill two birds with one stone

Budget is about $10k and that's just like scratching the surface for Ireland as fees start from €8k - €10k as I have seen

Also for Ireland, can you study a 1 yr course and then stay back on work permit? Do they allow it or it has to be a 2 year programme like Canada? Please advice.

For Ireland, there are higher diploma courses but mostly for 3rd class BSc students / HND or those changing from a field to another field based on work experience and additional certifications.

Higher diploma in Ireland still cost the same or almost the same as a masters degree. And you get 1 year graduate work permit.

monthly living expenses is 300 -500 euros including rent etc.
Quality Education ;
1 year graduate visa to stay back;
Minimum wage is from 5 euros depending on which country and type of job
You can work and study @ 20 hours per week during term time and full time during holidays
Huge potential to start a business especially in IT * #taxify came from Estonia
If you have excellent skills especially in IT, you can apply for jobs in other European countries (Since its part of Schengen, same visa gives you access to other european - schengen countries to shop for job, attend interviews or trade) note : UK, Ireland, Switzerland and few others are not part of Schengen

*** Yes , you can get 30 days entry visa permit for #Estonia from Nigeria without stepping outside Nigeria.

I will even advise someone going for masters to consider Ireland before UK if they don’t plan on coming to Nigeria after studies.

P.S I schooled in UK for UG before recently moving to Canada so I know what I am talking about.

470 days ago, I started this thread.

We are grateful to God for the strength , wisdom and knowledge he has given all contributors; Lives that have been positively impacted and success stories we've gotten so far - from securing admission offers to visa approvals to people securing well paid jobs in Ireland.

Our appreciation goes to the CREATOR of all things and beings - GOD almighty and everyone who has shared their fears, concerns , skepticism and success stories with us. Together, we've kept Travel agents on their feets and toes.

During the last meeting with the Irish embassy in Abuja, I met severally agents who intactly recognised the name 'ICAS'; basically, most of you have gone back to them to request for discounts the agents didn't disclose initially or required documents for visa application.

It's still a learning curve for us @ ICaS-Nigeria and everyone as well and we can't wait to be of more positive impact in #2019.

So let's do more in #2019.

lol... Every country is not like Nigeria- who considers foreigners over qualified Nigerians. And it's not just Ireland, other countries consider their citizens first if they have the required qualification.

But you definitely have a fair ground to compete as compared to Nigeria if you have the required skill sets.

Masters program is intense and stressful!

Shortest semester is september to Jan; You have an average of 10 weeks lecture this includes personal or group courseworks and examinations.

Studying IT related courses includes a lot of self development , research and skill acquisition i.e your lecturers won't cover much in class, majority of workload will fall on you.
Infact on each module/subject on your course/ program, the university advises at least 40 hours of self-study each week.

All I've mentioned is from my experience during undergraduate and postgraduate education in the UK.

In short, studying abroad teaches you time management.

You have at least 20 hours of classes every week , minimum of 30 hours of self study and 20 hours of part-time / casual work. All these are achievable if you are diligent to your pursuit.

All the locations have reduced rent and living expense as compared to Dublin. However, you need to weigh out your options yourself... Cork is definitely more expensive than the other 2 and its a research institution so your workload may be more than Griffith and DKIT.

But it all boils down to which one will give you the opportunity for a high paying permanent career-focused job.

Its pretty straightforward.

This site gives you an estimated amount in dollars with your details. This is valid for 48 hours , you are meant to take this proof to the bank for payment with your offer letter and passport page.

Cos of the festive period, the earliest the school will be able to issue a payment confirmation will be 2nd week of January, 2019.
You can still apply for your visa if you have the funds and documentation covered then.

But speak to your agent to contact your university to put a word in for you with the embassy.

I will provide same info if you DM but will charge for inconveniences ..lol

Full payment is required for NCI.

School officially closes tomorrow, so no processing of funds or fees until 4th January, 2019. It will be advisable to pay using paytostudy so you can get a timely confirmation.
