We are back again... I'll be sharing updates on visa application for 2019 as released by the Irish visa office. So if you have any urgent question regarding admissions and visa applications I'll be happy to answer. Cheers |
How people still believe this guy still marvels me. A guy who will not let you vote for someone who will represent your interest, someone who left Nigeria safely and did not deem it fit to send a life broadcast to his followers that he's alive. --- People closed shops, lost livelihood, lives were lost and he was just silent during his pilgrimage. Am not against few Nigerians clamouring for #biafra am just frustrated by the lack of logical reasoning. Vote people who have your interest to senate , house of rep etc let them be your voice to call for a referendum. Don't buycott elections and suffer for the next 4 years. I strongly believe some politicians are sponsoring this guy, playing with people's emotions and he himself keep smiling to the bank- Or where do they think he gets the funds to travel around from , definitely not from legal 9am to 9pm or even overnight shifts in the UK. ....Now I just typed epistle out of frustration. Irrespective of who he endorses , just know some money has changed hands. |
Proof of accommodation is not a compulsory requirement if all your other documents is satisfactory. Once something goes wrong with your application, other reasons to refuse such application follows. However, to be on the safe side, new applicants can include temporary hostel / hotel booking in their application henceforth. |
Happy Celebrations to all muslim Faithfuls! Ase yi samodun ...

Makomen:Not necessarily, you need it to apply for your resident permit card.No one can say if you will be asked at the point of entry or on arrival, all i know is if you can take it along, please do so otherwise carry your dollar card or visa card that you have access to the required funds. If you will be taking cash along, if asked at departure or on arrival , kindly declare funds you have on you. Legally, you are permitted to carry below 10,000 dollars. |
ICaSNg:People should kindly read this thread carefully. I've addressed this months ago. However, most times when your agent advises you to write one may be because such person does not have at least a credit in Mathematics / English. Also, I got news that you Nairalanders especially on the Whatsapp group want to start bombarding the embassy with Emails relating to your Institution's name being mentioned on your visa page or not. You people will create problems for future applicants because the embassy will notice this is somewhat unified and will increase refusal rate. This is similar with what goes on on the US and UK thread, now their reps/ VO have people on those threads. It's not as if an agent submitted your visa applications on your behalf or a fake visa was issued. I've mentioned this earlier in the departure brief but then the mighty mods on Nairaland deleted it. Most of you applied through agents speak to them about your departure briefing but note it's important to have all your documents in your hand luggage this includes offer letter, school address proof of hostel or accommodation- if you intend staying with family , make sure you have their direct phone nos and they are aware of when you'll be arriving incase they place a call through to them at the point of entry. |
bigmills:Thank God and congrats bro |
hustla:0 -100 euros |
pristine88:Definitely Yes if they can get every refusal reason sorted correctly or adequately. **Professional advice though, if the school has the program available for Jan, let them appeal before the 2 month window lapses and get an offer for Jan. This will give them more time to sort out all paper works. Refusal reasons have ranged from people thinking IELTS/PTE/TOEFL is not a requirement to some as trivial as WAEC Certificate (***This answers the person who mentioned they intend making a visa application without their transcripts) not been included to 3rd parties making Tuition fee payment on behalf of the applicant especially when this is different from the sponsor. Try and cover all bases before submitting an appeal. But then, we can't rule out the supernatural favour of God sha, so all the best everyone Appeal takes minimum of 72 hours to 5 weeks or more or exceptional cases. |
lanrayx:Minimum duration is 5 weeks. So hopefully you should have a response this weekend or by next Thursday. It is well. |
bigmills:Oga things have so moved away from satisfying consular o. Refusal this week was alarming that International Recruitment Managers in Ireland are thinking of coming down to Nigeria to have a discussion with the embassy. People should try as much as possible to follow in line with their previous studies. This is bigger than following Nairaland somewhat applicants /consultants now --- Please consult with your university's international office. All the best. |
Obiororo:Why not Pharmaceutical business? |
bigmills:OLUWA LOSEUN O....All thanks belong to God for the grace and opportunity. |
bigmills:God will perfect all things that concerns us IJN. hopefully you get the good news before friday. Stay positive |
ohakskid:I'll suggest you check out the General Irish Tourist visa thread. There you have significant number of professionals married, living and working in Ireland. Cheers |
Iamcurious:Hiya, am afraid Northern Ireland is part of the UK as you've mentioned so the policies in the Republic of Ireland does not apply. Let me add that there is a very thin line when it comes to border policies and laws between these countries, so thread carefully especially if you intend visiting the Republic of Ireland just to make sure you're not breaking any rules. |

Livefreeordieha:Simply put, you just described yourself. People have come here to benefit without involving ICaS-Nigeria in the process and they have amazing testimonials, I don't see anyone except you concerned about my relationship. All I can say is since you've discovered you do have a problem, you're 50% closer to getting a solution. When retards go low, myself and my business go HIGH. Have a good day and successful stay in Cork, Republic of Ireland. Cheers |
Chinlov:Thanks. |
Livefreeordieha:Am sorry you so pained about Malta being English speaking. Maybe, am not just getting your point exactly, you are on a thread I created about Ireland, you applied for admission in Ireland, you have gotten your Irish visa and you come on a thread I created to point out Malta is English speaking... am dazed!!!!! And to call me lousy, sarcastic and unreasonable, that's speaks to who you are. You have benefited from the thread, if you have nothing that can impact others pls stay quiet. Just saw u DM-ed my office, how may I help you then o. |
Livefreeordieha:When women express their opinion it's hostility... whao!!! If you're learned enough, there is nothing like Fact... just opinions that can be argued. You will be taught that during your masters program abroad. Feel free to use Google and Wikipedia, that's the information provided. The point is not English or Malta the point is this thread was created to enlighten people to consider Ireland as an alternative option or destination for further studies. I have more important things to do like get my PVC... so if you have something useful or beneficial to others to share I'll suggest you do that. It's Monday morning please. Anyways, Griffith people I get info for you. Feel free to DM, partial compensation is involved. Cheers |
Livefreeordieha:Your point? Use Google, other European countries speak English but according to research they are not acclaimed English speaking. Enjoy your stay in Cork, before you turn this thread to Malta. Cheers |
MzDeeb:Good morning, Kindly take 3-7 deep breaths. A lot of people have advised you so far. This is however my professional advise: of all the universities that help or provide support to Nigerian students with the Irish consular here, DIT is not one of such. This takes me to the next advise the consular wants to see your academic transcripts. Not sure for DIT, however most schools won't allow late registration this year. Kindly request to have your offer deferred. I wish you all the very best. Cheers |
Cathy018:If you intend going with under age Kids, you might be able to without your husband though. However, with the requirements you need to fulfil I'll suggest you consider permanent residence in Canada or Australia if your occupation is on the list. Happy Sunday!!!!!!! |
Chinlov:Most scenarios are confidential. But if there is any common errors to be corrected, I sure will share tips on guiding against future occurrences. Cheers |
Just a gentle reminder pls!!! People keep emphasizing they paid their Tuition in full, even if you over paid your Tuition fees and your documentations are not detailed as expected your visa application may be refused. It is important to note that full Tuition payment only increases your chances its not compulsory that your visa will approved because you paid full Tuition or made a partial payment. Cover all necessary bases please and 1 cap does not fit all. Visa applications or documents required is not the same for everyone. I can't emphasize that enough. Every ones case is unique and requires different approach |
J Kelhz:Congrats |

I don't like people twisting facts because they feel they are in position to do so...U knw how much Nigerians like to travel and most end up sad after discovering the lingua barrier is tougher than envisaged...
