Is there a reason you don't have your original CAC certificate?
Include your Directors page , copy of the CAC cert and explain in your SOP reason why you don't have the original alongside other required documents including your financials.

You need your online transaction number not the one issued at the vfs office- Speak to your agent

P.S: Ireland gives 2 years post study visa after ones masters programme.

The Irish highly skilled occupation list specifically states / clarifies on occupations they will give priority to for long term work permit.

Oga bla bla bla... it's a free world now- apply for your visa but know you may be banned for 5 years if you misrepresent or provide false documents .

You may also be deported if your intentions are not genuine- people are still making it in Nigeria so no need for desperation .

If you are confident that some employers may sponsor you on arrival with a tourist visa , why not let start applying to them in Nigeria and get your legal permit from here?

What made you apply to Griffith and NCI? which school's course structure will give you the right employable skills?

I think these are things you have to cover , working part-time is strictly 20 hours a week no matter which of the schools you choose. it all depends on how you can make time for important things on your schedule and less important things (or multitask).

As per your sponsor being in US- same requirements sponsors present in Nigeria is required- / speak to your agent

Embassy requires at least 80 percent of ur tuition; personally u need to show 3m as PoF, your sponsor should not be left with 300k logically 3.3m is not even scratching the surface yet

Hi all.

Been a while I dropped additional / updated information here:

1. For Irish study permit effective since !st of May, 2019 , you can apply 4 months before your program start date; This is to allow enough time to process an appeal if the need arises.

2. While most Universities and Colleges require Full Tuition payment before proceeding for visa application, the Embassy advises that if your Institution accepts a partial payment make sure you pay at least 80 percent of that amount before visa application - The reason for this is that those you paid partial fees for Last September i.e 2018, most international students still have not paid the balance of their tuition as at April. We tend to misuse opportunities, very soon Irish universities too will be like UK unis, once you don't pay your balance by January they will block your access to student portal- simple

3. For those interested in Data Analytics without computing background i.e degree, NCI now requires you to write an online test; however if you have professional qualifications in core IT / data related certifications you may get an offer from NCI . However, DBS is an alternative college or Griffith* My advise however is that do not jump on IT programs in Ireland because they have a better chance for work permit -stamp 1g, reason being you only have 12 to 18 months max to perform excellently well and you can't afford to gamble with over #4m on Tuition fees.
Thus, my suggestion is to choose a course you will comfortable excel in.

4. Tuition fees for DBS for 2019/2020 has already gone up by 500 to 1000 euros, likewise for Griffiths on most courses. Tuition for TUDublin and University of Limerick will definitely increase for 2020/2021 intakes.

5. Cork institute of tech will be merging with IT Tralee to become Munster University soon. CIT mostly accepts 2.1 students for masters program and automatically consider them for 25 % discount leaving their overall Tuition fee at 9000 euros.

6. IT Tralee and DKIT offers free accommodation for Undergraduate students only.
7. If you are above 23 years with only 0-level as your current qualification, I would not advise you apply to Ireland - if you however intend applying, you are required to pay your first year tuition in full and do an Education bond of 7,000 euros.



9. BSc Nursing programs is not available to International students only as a Top up program and that requires you to currently have a diploma in Nursing only * to apply for a top up BSc in Nursing.

10. Most Schools give scholarship discounts based on grade E.g NCI's overall Tuition is 14,500 euros - 1st class and 2.1 students automatically get 4,000 euros off; 2.2 get 2,000 euros off.

11. For people with a 3rd class degree , you can opt for a 2 -in-1 program i.e Higher diploma first and then masters or opt for a pre-masters and then proceed for a masters program.

12. DIFC is a foundation school offering pre-bachelors and pre-masters programs * note this does not come cheap ; but the good side to their services is they have partner universities in the UK, US, Australia, other parts of Europe where Tuition is as low as 4000 euros per year. Thus, after either a foundation or pre-masters you can proceed to any of these countries for further studies.

13. Just read this morning that CBN may float the naira * not sure how genuine this is , but if you are planning to study abroad next year, please open a dorm account and start saving up. Rates may come down however , we may land back to how things were in 2015 when £1 was #600- we pray this does not happen .

14. If you applied directly to your university and did not use an agent especially for schools like Griffith , you should send your visa application reference so they can follow up with the embassy on your behalf.
If TUdublin, they send you a link to fill your visa application details after submission at the vfs office.

If there is any additional update, I'll drop it whenever am less busy* kindly bear in mind this is peak period for visa application, I won't be able to provide answers to all questions I get tagged on but will definitely respond when available.

I applied to DBS for a September start. I have paid my fees in half from my savings. My dilemma is this, I plan using my uncle (Mothers brother) as my sponsor. Unfortunately, we do not have similar last names and I am unable to lay hold of any document having my mothers maiden name as I lost both my parents whilst still very young.

how do I prove the relationship between us, do I get him to move some funds into my account or what do I do.

I seem to be blank in this regard and would appreciate some advice from the experts in the room.

speak to your agent---your mum's brother should have same parent with your mum, they both will have birth certificate. if he's your guardian there should a document backing that up .

Personally you need 3m as PoF and not less than 5m if using a sponsor.

Give it another 3 weeks. although the only update you will see is most likely when your passport has been dispatched.

When I was to pay my tuition, I went to Gtb and inquired about Form A exchange rate, I was made to understand that the international exchange market is domiciled against the USD. Hence you buy dollars first then it is converted to whichever currency you wish to buy.
So for those of you saying you were told 1€/357 should do well to be sure you understand the currency you were told at the bank.

For a clearer understanding, how much is your fees in Euro and how much was deducted from your account?
Do the maths and we will have a clearer picture of the subject matter.

IT involves programming , statistical analysis , networking as the case may apply so what part of IT are you considering and are you confident you have the stated skills. You don't want to be struggling on an IT course at an expense of #4.5m or more and you only have 1 year to complete this ....Choose your next challenge carefully!

What I tell students is , check your module structure or topics covered under each Course for each school ; Decide which gets you close to your career.
CIT will soon merge to become the second Technological University in Ireland - Munster University.

From what I've heard so far though , academics in CIT will be more intense than DIT/ TUDublin.
Cost of living in both cities is relatively the same ; Cork may just be a little cheaper.

So you still have to decide yourself am afraid!

Try your luck. No offence though I personally don't think 1 year internship is enough to get validated. Bear in mind you will be handling people's lives you need to show proof of having years of professionally experience so at least 1 year full time of post grad experience + 1 year internship maybe.

You need to research a bit online but I understand you can get a nursing job ik Ireland from that profile you have already. Can't say more but I know of two cases... just search Google very well... if you get here on that path you could choose to still do the MSC. Also, I think if you mail any university in Ireland about your question they'll tell you what to do, they want students or their tuition fees lol.... may the force be with you

Schools will not bend their policies for students neither will the embassy.
I can attest to that , e.g schools suggested the Irish Embassy starts offering premium visas they refused that they are not like the UK and will not encourage extorting students.
