Nigeria is a country where seeing and hearing wonders won't just cease. I'll give you a top four list of some of the most common misconceptions.

1. All Northerners are Hausa by Tribe: It's not an unusual thing to see Nigerians today referring to a northerner as "Hausa." It's so annoying that even the Fulanis are called Hausas by Nigerians. This is in fact an error because the northern part of Nigeria is made up of so many tribes. Hausa is just like an official language in the north. In Lagos for example, English is the official language there. This does not mean that Lagosians are Englishmen or women as all of them may belong to various tribes.


2. Product Confusion: This one infuriates me a lot. There was a day when I heard a lady who was about to purchase some stuffs from a shop saying:
"Madam if Omo day make you bring Klin for me." Someone once said something similar also, that:
"Please I want to buy Maggi." The shop owner was like:
"Which type of Maggi? Rycco abi which one?" All products have their names so we should stick to that.


3. Your Height Determines the Size of your Joystick: This is also another spurious misconception. You may be short but your joystick may extend to London. While you may be tall also, your joystick may be very small. That was how I got disappointed one day when I saw a very tall man who finished urinating, shaking a small 'tooth pick.'


4. Calabar Girls: This 'theory' is widely believed by most Nigerians. The theory of Calabar Girls states that "All Calabar girls are equal in bed." This theory is wrong. Don't be surprised that the Calabar girl you want to bleep can't even last for one minute before she starts complaining of one or two problems.

This is exactly my protestation. This man should be sentenced to death without delay. If he serves a jail term and it expires, we'll start hearing silly things like he's now a pastor. This was also what Shina Rambo did.

There are so many things hidden on the famous logos of many different companies. However, we fail to notice most of them. Here's a top 5 list of some of the hidden things on famous logos:

1. LG: While Pac Man has a way of showing up in strange places, how about the LG logo? All you have to do is tilt it a little to the right and then shift the “nose” upwards. South Koreans are awesome.

2. Feed Ex: This is probably one of the most famous logos in this category. Just in case you’re somehow out of the loop, look between the “E” and the “x”. In the white space there is an arrow that subliminally represents speed and precision.

3. NBC: Another famous one, anyone over 50 will connect NBC with a Peacock. Ever since they came out with their new logo though, the peacock has been a little harder to spot.

4. Sony VAIO: It’s one of the most popular Sony sub-brands and like all of the other logos on this page it also has some hidden secrets. The “V” and the “A” are actually forming an analog signal while the “I” and the “O” are supposed to represent the binary digits 1 and 0.

Where are the Christians?

There was violence in Ikun Ekiti, a town under Moba LGA on Tuesday as masqueraders attacked Muslims while breaking their fast in the Central Mosque.

The attack took place at sunset around 7pm when the Muslims had gathered in the mosque to observe the Maghrib prayer after breaking their Ramadan fast.

It was learnt that the masqueraders were irked that the Muslims had the effrontery to call for prayers when they were still celebrating their Egun festival. More detail later.

How many of you have heard of anti balaka? Very few or manybe none. The media won't just disclose any negative thing about Christianity whereas, they are always busy vilifying Islam with spurious stories.
The anti balaka group is a Christian group which came into existence since 2013. The grouo has claimed responsibility for the deaths of thousands of Muslims in Central African Republic. Many Muslims have been rendered homeless while some end up maimed. This video shows them slaughtering Muslims.
