Education / Does The End Really Justify The Means? Or Vice Versa by icekream(m): 11:22pm On Aug 25, 2022
You spent 4 years (or more) in the University. Was the best moment of your life the day you collected the degree certificate, or the best moments were a collection of short but memorable moments of the times you spent in the School?

You prepare for an exam, you pass that exam and you feel a wave of emotions. What really triggered the emotions: That result or what you went through to achieve that result

Your hard work finally pays off and you get that thing you've been aiming to achieve for a ling time. What do you appreciate the most: That particular moment or granular/big things you did up to that moment?

Everyone says the End justifies the means

I say it's a big lie. To you, the main actor in your life, I don't think it's meant to be put that way.
For you, the Means Justifies the End. For every other person that cares to listen to you, the end justifies the means.

Ever done something and upon getting to the end, you feel an emptiness and ask yourself: What else?
Like, really, WHAT ELSE?
You just pick up the next objective and hope that fills the void you feel deep within you.
No, my friend, I don't think it will

I feel what makes life worth living is not the main objective you're after, but what you did/felt/sacrificed, the people you met (I call it the side missions on your journey).

I'd love everyone to Key in and drop their views on this, as this is just my personal opinion.

Live, Love, Laugh.

Good evening everyone.
Please who has an idea of schools in London or close to London that accept a 2:2 degree for Masters in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Most I've been checking have been listing a 2:1 as their minimum

Fashion / Why Your Perfume Does Not Last Long by icekream(m): 5:10pm On Jul 26, 2021
If you no fit spray money, at least spray perfume - 2021

Sometimes you spray your perfume on yourself and a few hours later you ask yourself “is my perfume fake? Why can’t I smell my perfume anymore? Did I apply too little?”
Well, some answers might be yes sha.

But before you come to a hasty conclusion, let us take a look at some factors that might determine the performance and longevity of your perfume.

Know your perfume:
There are different categories of perfume. We have the Perfume Oil, Eau de Parfum(EDP), Eau de Toilette(EDT), Eau de Cologne(EDC), and some others. If someone tells you that all perfumes last for the same duration tell him: Eau de Craze.

The perfume Oil lasts the longest when used. It can last for 8hrs+ or thereabout, not sure
If you are using perfume oil, do not use too much as it tends to have a choking effect on people around you due to the concentration. You can use this if your event/occasion would last for a long time as it would definitely last long.

The EDP comes next in terms of longevity. A lot of oud wood and some other perfumes fall under this category. They also last for an average of 6hrs+ and usually have amazing scents. So just calculate your movement, spray your perfume and have a nice outing.

The EDT however does not last as long as the two mentioned above. You can spray EDT lavishly on your body and it still wouldn’t have that choking effect (No overdo o). If you plan on using EDTs, you can buy a refill bottle or something and have some in your bag. That way, you’re assured of all round freshness.

Now that you know the type of perfume you have, let’s go to some Nigerian reasons.

You finish spraying perfume and then you enter Okada:
Perfumes contain denatured ethanol, the chances of it getting dry and powerless when you hop on a bike is very high. The alcohol meant to increase the longevity would dry off quickly and leave you wondering “I spray perf commot for house na”.
If you plan on moving like that, have a refill in your bag so you can apply it again once you get to your location.

Some perfumes are meant for winter time:
In Nigeria, it’s hot a lot of the time. The oyinbo wey do perfume do am for their weather, so if you buy perfume wey dem customise for winter time, you’ll be disappointed at the performance. It’s like buying a Lamborghini mainly for a Nigerian road.

Where you apply to on your body:
Don’t just spray and leave, be conscious of the areas
A few are: The back of your earlobes, your inner wrists, your collar, and then your shirt. Apply with moderation.

An extra tip: For a longer effect, you can apply vaseline/shea butter on those parts of your body before spraying the perfume.

Have questions or Need me to write about something else, let me know in the comment section.

it was the first philosophical book I ever picked up. I eventually finished it, but boy my head was spinning for about 3days. I read tougher book this days (I guess my mind caught up or something). I reread it a few years later and was like son just look how dumb you were a few years ago.
Hello, can I send you a mail? Need to ask about some stuffs pls

It is not a miracle it is just bullshit. What's the sense in giving scholarships to those who won't value it and optimize its benefits.

If you pay tuition fee with your hard-earned money and your grades are terrible, how would you appreciate and use a scholarship that was handed to you on a platter of gold?
Rubbish!
Mumu... Do you know why he gave them? I attended the convocation lecture n the prof said he wants to do something... He'll train the best n worst graduating student and you'll all see what they'll become... He wants to prove that because they call you the worst doesn't count at all it's all in your head

Why must you pick your food.
Are you trying to watch your weight?

Why must you like salad and vegetables as your favorite meal.
Are you on a diet for health reasons?

Why will you always tell me you are not hungry.
Are you fasting?

Why must you remain skinny after we have gotten married.
Do you have AIDS?

Biko if you are a man here and you don't have a large appetite I no do. First of all you must not be an African and you must not be from the south south.
Because if you are you would have tasted ogbono soup with broken marriage fish and okporoko plus cow leg swallowed with yellow eba.
Or is it starch with Banga soup prepared with cow ear and beretete.
Or afang with loiloi and correct goat meat.
Or plantain peppersoup with egbedegin and turkey wings.

Or is it pap and moi moi with fish fillets?

Oga I don't want to make you fat if that's what you are thinking I just want to make you have some flesh and glowing skin.

Biko I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen so if you don't have a good appetite Abeg just park one side and don't near me.

I cook and I want someone who eats.
Coman be my side chic...tho I neva get girlfriend sha
