Results of the tie breakers:
Goal Keepers award Maduka Okoye: 4* Ikechukwu Ezenwa: 3
Most improved award Semi Ajayi: 3 Chidozie Awaziem: 4*
So Maduka Okoye completes the list of nominees for 'goal Keeper award'.
And Chidozie Awaziem completes the list of nominees for 'most improved award'

On the Super Eagles Best XI, I suggest we first agree on a formation to adopt. Eg 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 3-4-3, 3-5-2 etc
Then next each of us will put up our own best XI. The player with the most nominations for a particular position wins it for that position.
Then we may create a substitutes list. |

Icon4s: From the Nominations results we have two ties:
Goalkeeper of the year: Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Maduka Okoye
Most improved player : Chidozie Awaziem and Semi Ajayi.
So just like in 2018, when we have a tie in Nominations the Committee members chose one of the two players and the more nominated one stands nominated.

You are trying to change the set criteria just to accommodate Ramon Azeez right? You were a committee member last year, what were the criteria used to select players into this category? Thank God we are on the same thread as last year's. |

komekn: If indeed there are more nominations for Azeez as a reflection of the majority members of the committee. Then democratically Azeez should considered as presented. Who are the majority members that nominated Azeez? Based on what criterion should Azeez be included as a New Super Eagles inclusion? What was Joe Aribo even doing on your list of 'Foreign born Prospects'? You don't understand the meaning of that's one again? You even named Ebere Eze as part of Young player of the year when that award has always been for Players that have featured for any of our youth teams or the Super Eagles. Was any uncapped foreign born player nominated for any awards last year? The introduction of the foreign born Prospects awards was to take care of the uncapped foreign borns. Yet you are nominating Ebere Ezeh for an award he is not eligible to be nominated for. |

forgiveness: It seems Icons4 has a premeditated laid down rules he made by himself else how can he insist on his own personal opinion after 3 - 4 committees nominated Ramon Azeez?
He did not get the consent and approval of the committee through ballot or vote before he insisted Ramon Azeez is not eligible for nomination. Another kind of authoritarian personality in my own opinion.
Let me explain myself, in my own opinion, I think Ramon Azeez is eligible for nomination because he was never part of 'the dawn of the new era'. Or was he? In fact, he was never part of any era.
NB: Please, take note of the bolded. Were you not part of the 2018 committee? Was it not it spelt out that the New Inclusions nominations is for players that made their debute in that same calendar year? You just like picking up arguments over little things. forgiveness: I don't agree with you on Ramon Azeez because he was never part of the SE except for the 3 games he played at the world cup in 2014, nothing to liken him with Enyeama. So, leave as it is.
3 to 4 of the committee members nominated him, I don't think your opinion carries weight in this case. EOD
I will look into others. You are only stiring up unnecessary controversies on this matter. A player that has been capped has been capped whether he played only 1, 2 or 3 games. Ramon Azeez was at the 2014 World Cup. He is not new to the Super Eagles. What happens if players like Stanley Amuzie, Olanrewaju Kayode, Aminu Usman, Azubuike Okechukwu, Ejike Uzoenyi and co are recalled? You still call them New inclusions into the Super Eagles? Come on! We must set out very clear criteria that are easily measurable. The New inclusions for 2019 are players who made their debutes for the Super Eagles in 2019. This is very simple and clear. No ambiguity in it. I am sure if some people see Ramon Azeez on the list of nominees for "New Inclusion 2019" they will raise questions considering his involvements in 2014. And this might stir up controversies that can derail the voting process. Please we must keep things straight and simple. No room for ambiguity and controversies. There are some other players who made their debutes this year(2019) chose from them please. Please let others say something on this matter. To avoid unnecessary back and forth delays. cc: Tbaba1234, TheSuperNerd, Safarigirl, Komekn, Bascovanveli, Andrewbaba44, Icon4s, forgiveness. |

Car Talk › Re: FRSC: Using Google Map While Driving Is A Serious Offence by Icon4s(m): 5:39am On Nov 28, 2019 |
fergie1989: The FCT Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ayuba Gora, says driving with the aid of Google Map using mobile phones is a serious traffic offence.
NAN reports that Mr. Gora said this at the inauguration of the 2019 Ember Months Campaign by Lugbe Unit Command of the FRSC in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to him, the law forbids motorists from using mobile phones in any form while driving, as it can lead to an accident.
He also informed motorists that the corps will soon begin enforcement of installation of speed limiting devices.
Mr Gora advised motorists, especially commercial vehicle operators, who have yet to install the device to do so.
“We will embark on massive checks of vehicles without this device soon and arrest those that disconnected the devices from their vehicles.
“It is very important that all vehicles should have the device installed in their vehicles.
“The required speed limit for commercial vehicles even on the highways should not exceed 90 km/hr for buses and taxis.
“By doing this today, we are simply reminding motorists that they must drive with care and observe traffic rules and regulations in order to make the job very easy for all of us.
“If you are arrested this period, you will not just pay fines but must be taken for emotional evaluation test in the hospital to ascertain your mental fitness before we let go,” he said.
He urged the public to dial 122 or 112 in case they noticed unusual behaviour by road users and in the event of an accident.
Mr Gora debunked speculations that the speed limit device damages car engine, saying it had nothing to do with the engine, but only cut fuel supply during attempted speeding.
“Once the vehicle reaches a predetermined top speed, the computer steps in and restricts the flow of air and fuel to the engine and even the sparks that cause combustion.
“Either way, the vehicle will be unable to exceed the top speed as determined by the car’s manufacturer.
“The problem we have with the operators of these vehicles is that, when a speed limiting device has been installed, they tamper with it. In the process of tampering by disconnecting, it leads to a problem,” he added.

Let's also note a new addition to this selection process and this is the Nigerian Best XI, 2019. We will commence this as soon as everyone here is done making nominations of which Forgiveness is the only person left.
For the best XI we can compile it here but will not release it until we are done with the voting process in the general house.

charlesemeka85: Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze says he understands Lille forward Victor Osimhen better than any of his teammate in the senior national team of Nigeria.
The duo combined to score Nigeria’s second goal against Lesotho with Osimhen picking out Chukwueze with a pass which was nodded home by his ex U-17 teammate to put Nigeria ahead for the first time in the game won 4-2 by Nigeria.
Chukwueze’s partnership in attack with Osimhen and Samuel Kalu dominated the headlines in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw against Ukraine in a friendly game but it’s his combination with Osimhen that he believes is the best.
” We are both playing at a level we dreamt about when we first met at the Nigeria U17 camp four years ago. We trained for months and did same again at U20 and now in the Super Eagles. It’s very easy for me to combine with him”, Chukwueze told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” I know how he want his passes and he also know how I want balls either to feet or in space. I really think if there’s any player I can play with eyes closed then it’s Osimhen. On and off the pitch we understand each other really well Excellent partnership! Proud products of our illustrious Youth system. We only need both of you to keep your heads down and continue working hard to improve on your game. |

BascoVanVeli: Then we don't have new inclusions. Unless this is some ploy to hand Aribo the award. 2019 New inclusions: Joe Aribo Dennis Emmanuel Bonaventure Josh Maja Maduka Okoye Please chose any three from these. |

TheSuperNerd: Marvellous BascoVanVeli.... On Most impactful New inclusion, I believe Jamilu Collins made his Eagles bow in October 2018 vs Libya in an AFCON 2019 Qualifiers game in Uyo. He played about 4 or 5 games in 2018 I think.
Also Samuel Kalu is not a 2019 new inclusion.
Or Chief Icon4s, are inclusions that joined late in the previous year allowed when taking this year into account? Thanks for also pointing the bolded. I observed it but it skipped my mind while I was typing. New inclusions (2019) are players who made their debute in 2019 only. Bascovanveli also that Ighalo vs Libya goal was a game played in 2018 and so is not eligible for nomination in 2019. |
