If that is true that official should b arrested and investigated. He could probably have done it so Awoniyi will nt have a competitor for a starting shirt. But if he is innocent then Awoniyi's Babalawo is at work AGAIN. |

Keshi has started with his experiment again.
Why did he nt invite Echiejile? Who had a wonderful run of form Monaco this season even playing both Champions league games against Arsenal of which he was d best man in defence for Monaco in second leg.
Ambrose was consistent for his Celtic club this season yet nt on the list.
As for Mikel, no matter how much pple criticise him i see him as a very important member of thé team. He brings stability to the midfield.
Sonne Aluko had a wonderful season with his jst relegated Hull City. I was expecting him to stand as the player that Will link up play btw midfield and attack. But Keshi no invite him.
I think Keshi has started by underating the Chadian team.He has decided to pick an experimental squad. I hope it will nt turn out like the Congo game in our last AFCON Qualifiers? |

Infact I am nt expectating them to win it. This team is seriousely over hyped to the extent that pple want them in the Super Eagles already.
Let us see how they perform against Brazil first and we can start judging them from their.
After thé tourney, whether dey win it or not, some of them mayb given an U23 call up. If a player like Awoniyi or Success performs well at the U20 WC he should b given a Super Eagles call up since we need to groom young strikers now. The others can go and gain experience at the Olympics next yr if they qualify |

steppin: No mind that guy. He just listed the old players who contributed nothing. He even included Emenike and Ikechukwu Uche, who lost their form this season as our best forwards. What we seriously need in that team is people like Kelechi Iheanacho, Awoniyi and the other guy in Genk. With these three, Super chickens will change to the Super Eagles they once were. What do u guys think football is? Academy players to form bulk of the Super Eagles? Those so called players that failed us last year are mostly players that won the AFCON in 2013 and qualified us for 2014 WC and even getting beyond d 2nd round yet u say they have contributed nothing. See those are the best and most experienced crop of players we have now and Keshi will have no other option rather than to fall back on them. U think Senior team football is cadet football? |

12. ISAAC SUCCESS. A Nigerian goal scoring machine. One of the only 2 Nigerian U20 players that plays senior team football in their European clubs. Highest goal scorer at CAF U17 in 2013. Scored 2 goals aready in 120mins of action @ 2013 FIFA U17 WC before being substituted due to injury. Better drilled and more matured we only wait to see him in action. |

Sports › Re: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Thread: 2017 AFCON Qualifiers. by Icon4s(m): 11:14am On May 23, 2015 |
Daninya11: Super Eagles Coaches experimented all of last year with practically every player invited as strikers to the team, and for all their trouble the Country did not only miss out another Continental competition – Nigeria has a failed to qualify for the AFCON 6 times since 1963- but this era exposed the team that had only just returned from the World Cup for the mediocre squad it was.
Some may chose to lay all the blame on the Coach, other cluster the Football Federation and all else, holding them responsible for the huge lump that has seen the champions of the skies crash to beneath the football food chain.
The aftermath of that inevitable plunge and consequence we could argue is the bashing the team suffered on all fronts since the turn of the year; no thanks to our scientific administrators in the glass house.
Simple scientific theory helps us understand how within a certain degree of heat intensity , glass will melt. But hopefully the Pinnick-led board understand this much as they globe trot, shaking hands and posing with every major profile in the industry.
All that happy-go-lucky feeling will amount to naught should this experimentation continue or even degenerate. Without a doubt by then it would be demanded of this eccentric football administrator and his lieutenants to reconsider much about their policies- Keshi inclusive.
Back to the team and it would suffice to say, the test driving with the Super Eagles must come to a definite conclusion especially with the striker’s position and how poorly the 3-time African champions have coped in that department of the team.
Since 2014 through to 2015 the main Eagles team were involved in 16 International matches; including friendlies and competitive matches. A total of 10 different goal scorers contributed to a meager 16 goals scored and only 6 of those resulted to wins (3).
Ahmed Musa proved to be Nigeria’s most effective (5); though he plays wide and Aaron Samuel was the only striker to come close (2).
Without a doubt this speaks volume of the quality of the ‘goal poachers’ invited to try on the National colors , earn match bonuses and some International cap for future purposes- and a number of them including Odion Ighalo, Anthony Ujah, Ike Uche were invited or re-invited to bring some viciousness about the predator bird.
Osaze and Emenike celebrate during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile it might have been in good conscience, back in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Stephen Keshi offered green passes to 33-year-old Shola Ameobi and Osaze Odemwingie; the latter gave delivered the round of 16 ticket against Bosnia, but elsewhere there was one or more Nigerians who would have made the cut of any serious nation that sought more than just participation money in Brazil.
That same year, Obafemi Martin was in the MLS and had helped his side to cup glory scoring 17 goals in that League campaign; more league goals than that by any striker Keshi took to the World Cup.
In similar sleek fashion, the former Inter Milan marksman has kicked off the new season with more than a few breathtaking performances, goals and his signature goal celebration, all testament that the 30-year-old’s still a crowd-pleaser.
Certainly, the Eagles needs some rebuilding and every experienced hand will be required on board especially as the 2017 AFCON qualifiers draw near.
Who will you prefer as the new Super Eagles top striker? In as much we would want a positive change of fortune for the Super Eagles I would personally nt subscribe to a sudden change or over haul of the team. The Ivorien team that won the last AFCON crashed out at the Q/Final of 2013 Afcon and grp stage at the 2014 WC bt they did nt over haul the team. They kept faith with those players and with experience and consistency they won the 2015 AFCON. In my opinion the only players that need to b included into that 2014 WC team are Sone Aluko,, Aaron Samuel, Leon Balogun and Odion Ighalo. I will keep faith with Emenike, Musa and Ike Uche as our top sforwards. Ujah and Ideye are nt super eagles materials for now. We cant do away with the league and Champions league experiences of Ambrose and Echiejile, Omeruo and Obaobona are the best centre backs Nigeria can boast of now. However, i would like a situation where Leone Balogun will be played at right back and Ambrose moved to his traditional centre back position. Onazi is still a formidable force at DMF and Mikel can partner Onazi as a holding MF and i will prefer Aluko to play the number 10 position. I would also want to see Ahmed Musa play as a centre forward. Sammy Ameobi (when citizenship is finally converted) and Victor Moses are our best prospects from the wings. |

https://images.supersport.com/2015/5/senegal-fan-tracksuit-300.jpg
The Senegal football federation announced on Friday that the under-20 team have been denied entry visas to Austria, where the group had scheduled a preparatory tour ahead of the Under-20 Fifa World Cup in New Zealand.
The body said 21 players and the technical staff were due to fly to Austria on Friday but failed to obtain visas.
Coach Joseph Koto, who published his final roster for the tournament on Thursday, claims the decision of the Austrian embassy could affect the team’s plans for the competition, but insists they will draw up a new programme to enable the junior Teranga Lions to prepare adequately for the World Cup which kicks off on May 30.
Senegal are in Group C with Portugal, Colombia and Qatar to be based in the city of Hamilton.
Senegal finished as finalists of the 2015 African Youth Championship which they hosted in March, which was won by Nigeria.
Nigeria, Ghana and Mali are the other nations to represent Africa at the Under-20 World Cup. [/b] So they are still applying for Austrian Visa? They should just go straight to New Zealand jare. |

Daninya11: Kaduna State FA Chairman, Magaji Kapaka says they have swung into action and are ready to host the Super Eagles v Chad 2017 AFCON qualifier.
Kapaka told www.footballlive.ng that all necessary repair works at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium are on going. ” We are on course, after receiving the news of hosting the Super Eagles from the Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation last week we swung into action.
” We have the accommodation for the teams ready, the stadium maintenance is near completion and we’re only waiting for the delegation to start arriving.
” Kaduna offers the Super Eagles a good home whenever they come around. People throng the stadium and we still expect a very huge crowd of fans to come cheer the team.” I dnt like this Kaduna arrangement. On that day now you will see brown patches on the pitch. U say maintainance has been completed. Is the pitch in pristine condition? While other countries will b show casing their best stadiums on super sports that week end Nigeria will embarass themselves with that junk of a Kaduna stadium. |
