Daninya11:Good point. I asked myself that same question, but only Siasia knows what's on his mind. There's no question that the 2008 team was head and shoulders above this bunch. Is Simon Kalika part of the current coaching crew? I didn't see him on the bench....if not then I can understand why the current team lacks cohesion. Kalika is Siasia's technical guru. Germany was technically superior to Nigeria. The German coach totally out-coached and outclassed Siasia. I knew that we would have big trouble winning the match without Etebo and Azubike. Those two are our best players and the team was never the same without them especially Azubike....there was no one to anchor the midfield, and that's where Germany always hit us from (in the midfield defence). And that's has nothing to do with whether the ref's decisions were fair or biased. And by the way, the yellow card that bothered me the most in the whole thing was the silly yellow card picked up by Azubike. Thank God that I was able to collect my own within 3 business days at Asaba, or else I would've missed my flight because my passport expired while I was in naija. However, I was forced to purchase the 64 paged version (that I don't really need) because they claimed that the 32 page one are not available. And by the way, I paid N35K for the 64 pages instead of N28K for the 32 pages. In addition, I cannot understand why naija passports expire in 5 years whereas my American passports are valid for 10 years. They are always looking for a way to make money and exploit people in that country. Nigeria is a crappy country, for sire! 1 Like |

I totally agree with Abba Yola on this one. I have already called on the NFF Board to resign on my Twitter feed. Those people are a disgrace to Nigeria. Listen to me, no serious coach would take those charlatans serious anymore. Those have exposed their ignorance. Throwing the job open was a mistake in the first place. The system is so rigged out that I no longer take UEFA (and FIFA) serious. Even the officiating at this EURO championship appeared rigged to me as well. Go back and watch Portugal versus Croatia game, then tell me how Portugal didn't get yellow cards for all those crazy tackles, when most countries would've received a few red cards. Then Wales best player, Aaron Ramsey, was given a yellow card for a trivial hand ball towards the end of the game against Belgium just to rule him out of the match vs Portugal!
