Anyway, it's great to confirm Ikeme will be battle ready for Algeria. I knew his injury scare won't become serious.

Meanwhile... Sir Icon4s... Na u ba? **raises eyebrows**
It looks like we celebrated too soon.

Ikeme is out of the game. sad

But Emmanuel daniel would ve been a better option now
Tell me about it, bro. Emmanuel Daniel is a much better keeper than Akpeyi.

And as a matter of fact, Daniel displaced Akpeyi and started for the Olympics team.

Not serious, he will be fine for the game. Just needs a few days off..
Best news of the week!

We probably won't need him to start if Enyeama would change his stance and return to the national team.
I still rate Vince marginally better than Carl at this time.

some of those funny names won us the Africa Cup of Nations, the same set of coaches bought Joel Obi to the National lime light. I hate it when people clamour for local players when it is a known fact that the local players are also always on the look out for a foreign club . Most Foreign based players, once played in the local league so what is the noised about local players even the Belgian and Argentines National team consist of mostly Foreign players.
Yup. They definitely did and no one can take that away from them. But don't forget that they also failed to qualify for the same tourney a couple of years later. That might help you put that win perspectives, if you will.

However, I do agree with you on the whole home-based players crap. If we want to qualify, we must get our best players to play for us regardless of where they reside. And right now, our best players are oversea based so we should stick with them. We can start relying on the home based players once we fix our league and get our best players to stay home.

SportsRe: Rohr Releases 24-man List To Face Algeria (Full List) by Icon79(m): 3:34pm On Oct 31, 2016
This is a pretty good list. The only names I am missing are: Azubuike Okechukwu and Isaac Success. These two players are good enough to walk into the team and make this team better. And Joel Obi should get a look in as well since he's been injury free for a while.

I found it strange that Success was invited in our last night but couldn't make it due to injury. And now that he's injury free they decided to drop him. Weird! But all things considered, this is a good selection by the coach. Players are now being selected on merit unlike during the time(s) of Keshi, Oliseh, and Siasia when you'd always get some funny funny names on the list.

I know that most of the people here claiming to have seen the video are lying.
SportsRe: Is There Any Reasonable Reason Why Mikel Hasn't Played For Chelsea Yet ??? by Icon79(m): 8:16pm On Oct 26, 2016
Mikel is definitely good enough to start for this Chelsea team or, at least, be on the bench. Matic has been piss poor this season actually. This is not the same Matic as two seasons ago, he has lost form.

So only Mikel and Conte know what's going on between them and why Mikel isn't playing. It's possible that Mikel is being frozen out because he decided to go to the Olympic games but I won't believe that until I hear it from official sources. All in all, I think it's time for Mikel to move to serie A - either Juventus or Inter Milan would be glad to have him.

CrimeRe: 3 Die In Mysterious Well In Anambra, Rescuer Receives Strange Slap by Icon79(m): 7:46pm On Oct 26, 2016
I hope this story is a joke because it sounds bizarre.

SO the first man entered and couldn't come out, and the second man entered and still couldn't come out. So why should any reasonable human being decide to enter the same well - talking about the 3rd and the 4th men? Were they on drugs?

I don't care how much you wanna pay me, nothing in this world would make me go into that well if two men had already gone into the well and couldn't come out. Abi na charm or something?

I only watched portions of the first YouTube clip and all I can say is, this must be some sort of an occultism ritual. Most of the women dancing out there look demon possessed to me. Most people might not know it but there must be some sort of satanic ritual going on there. So sad sad

PoliticsRe: The Spiritual Side Of Aso Villa By Reuben Abati by Icon79(m): 1:56pm On Oct 14, 2016
I haven't read this article yet but I am not surprised to hear that because Aso Rock was opened by the evil genius himself - IBB, and that man is a living wizard. He's the prince of the niger, so who knows what he concocted there before he moved in. After all, it was rumored that he used to import juju priests from India, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc to perform ritual at the govt house during his time.

IBB destroyed Nigeria, no be small.

I don't think 11 point can guarantee a world cup ticket, what if any team in group wins all their remaining matches? I think a minimum of 13 point is good to go.
Let's just hope that he meant 11 additional points. That's all I can say for now.
SportsRe: Nigeria Targets 11 Points To Qualify For World Cup - Rohr by Icon79(m): 6:14pm On Oct 11, 2016
Folks, let's stop this useless argument. Right now, the only magic number we need to qualify is 17 points - everything else is mathematical.

We can qualify with 11 points depending on how the other matches in the group pans out. My only advice to Rohr and the team is: target to win all your matches and leave the mathematical equations out of it.

SportsRe: NFF: We Have No Reason To Doubt Isaac Success, Victor Moses Injury by Icon79(m): 6:12pm On Oct 11, 2016
My sources confirmed that Isaac Success had a little knock. The club wanted to keep him back for evaluations just as a preventive measure.

But I can't say the same for Victor Moses. I think his case needs to be seriously investigated.

We badly missed Leon's partnership with Ekong in today's game. Kenneth Omeruo has badly lost form.

At a stage, it seems like Troost Ekong was the only player we had in the defence.

It's gonna be an interesting final 15 mins if Zambia can pull one goal back.

Not good sad
