Knowing that this is a problem is the first step. Step number two is to start making efforts in exercising patience and discipline. Note the TWO keywords I used here: effort and exercise. That tells you that the change you need is NOT going to be easy. It would take a lot of work on your part. It takes lots of energy and willpower to exercise, and that's what's it's gonna take you to keep your anger/malice under control.

And if you're a Christian, I would also recommend fasting and prayer. Sometimes, the root cause of anger and malice is spiritual (demonic anger). And those type does not come out except through fasting and prayer.
