Shut up if you dont know history..The Only reason they hate Buhari is because he fought them in the civil war and his vice is a yoruba man...if his vice was from the east or south south, they wud ave been cool with him.
That may not be true bro. I‘m not igbo and I may not called him names. I dont like him personally because of how Buhari humiliated Southern leaders and people in the past like Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Fela, Alex Ekwueme, etc, but pampered his hausa/Fulani brothers.

He is a sectional bigot who doesnt see Nigerians as one. I can vote or support any Hausa/Fulani man but i can never ever support Buhari

Politics › Why Nigeria May Never Know Peace by id911(op):
For there to be peace and rapid growth and development in any country, every section and citizen must be treated equally. Unfortunately, the situation in Nigeria is different. For instance, in the so-called Geo-Polical Zones, one zone has seven states somewhere while elsewhere another zone has only five states. A state has 44 LGAs somewhere while another one has only 8!And Fed allocation is distributed based on this.

Drinking of alcohol and smoking is prohibited in some states but alcohol and tobacco taxes are collected in Lagos, Enugu, Aba, Uyo, Warri, Ibadan, and the Fed Govt will distribute the proceeds from these taxes to all the States and no states will reject the money.

The first Standard Gauge Rail Tract in Nigeria that runs from Abuja to Kaduna is almost completed-pls correct me if i’m wrong-Why Abuja to Kaduna? Why is the first one not Lagos to Abuja or Lagos to Ibadan or Lagos to Port Harcourt or Warri to Aba or Onitsha to Uyo?But the resources used in developing it come from a particular section of the country.

I finished Higher Institution four years ago, more than 60% of my friends, even those I met during service, from the North were employed and some are still being employed in government Agencies, Ministries and Parastatals while less than 20% of those of us from the South have such opportunity. They said there are no jobs, we should create jobs for ourselves, fine. Why then are some people from a section of the country find it very easy to get these jobs while some of us from the other section are left to wander aimlessly in the ’wilderness’?Again the resources that run these Ministries, Agencies and Parastatals come from a particular section of the country.

Concerning the Niger Delta Region. Some people would say they gave them NDDC, they gave them 13% derivation, etc, what do they want?and all those balderdash. The question is:will that stop air pollution or the destruction of the ecostystem or one man in Adamawa or Sokoto from owning Oil blocks in their domain? You may called them millitants, criminals, etc, but the truth is, they are fighting for greater participation in the management of the resources found in their backyard. If the Fed Govt succeeds in subdueing Avengers today other deadly millitants will surely emerge in the future. Without restructuring the country and without Nigeria adopting Fiscal Federalism, the issue of militancy and other agitation will never stop.

There are so many abnormally in the system, space will not permit me to mention them. I used to pray for Nigeria but unfortunately I will never do that again. There can never be peace in this country unless there is equity, fairness and justice

It’s a Political move. MEND is against the present onslaught in the Niger Delta.

I don‘t think he escaped but if he did, it‘s a plan work with the Federal Govt for Okah to go and infiltrate the Avengers and other Niger Delta Millitants to get info for the Fed govt for his freedom later. That’s the plan but i dont blieve he escaped

This is what i hate about this forum with mischivious headlines and most commenters are ignorance. Was Sherrif in PDP when Boko Haram Started? Was Sherrif not in ANPP and later a founding APC BOT member?Did u remember sometimes ago he wanted to beat up Tinubu when they had disagreement in APC?

Makarfi said Sherrif started Boko Haram without mentioning party but the OP edited to put PDP, dont be surprised the MODS will push it to front page like that because that is what they want. SMH

You are right. Though I apologize for the role yoruba played in that war. We should have made lagos hot for the hausas, instead we allowed them to bully us and forcefully capture our men at bus stops and conscript to go and kill babies in the East.
My brother, i never hated the SW but i have sat down to ponder on our history, and how these Notherners have treated and disrespected our people here in the south. But my greatest surprise is the hatred SW always has for SE/SS but they show so much love and respect to the northerners who have no regard for us here in the south.

Even here on Nairaland, check very well you will understand better. Time will tell

Would you just shut it up!!!
The Biafrans committed most of the atrocities against the minorities of the SS. You think you can easily rewrite recent history.
Where was the referendum conducted among the people of SS to join you in your war?
Stop lying! Pls Stop lying!Though i‘m not of Igbo extraction, my granny who witnessed the war told us it was Nigerian Millitary who bombed and destroyed most of the places suspected to be harboring igbos but used propaganda to deceived the people that it was Biafra that committed those atrocities against us. This was to make us to hate the Igbos, but some of us now know better.

Even my elder sister’s husband who was with the Nigerian Air Force during the war later told us the truth. I‘m writing in terms of my state, Akwa Ibom.

As for me, i now see Igbos as my brothers. Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba can go to hell
Politics › Re: Saraki And Ekweremadu May Get Tough Bail Conditions by id911(m): 8:16pm On Jun 23, 2016
That was their plan so they can quickly conduct another election in the senate and elect their stooges. But someone has already hinted Saraki about their plan that is why the senate is currently on holiday now. It is only Saraki that can reopen the senate.

If Saraki and Ekweremadu cant meet bail conditions, the senate remains closed. Just hope this govt dosnt breed anarchy

The framers of democracy understand the autonomy of the arms and also curtail their doings ,that is why there is something called check and balances , if it is outside is powers to charge the persons to court calmly go to court and dismiss the case ,it is that easy how would a senate address a hon. Minister with such terms ? What are we becoming or should I say what have we become ?

To the argument of the budget , ministerial screening et all being null n void is yet again wrong based on the fact that the are not challenging the elections of the senators but the appointments/selection of the presiding officers. Whether or whether not they occupy those positions legally is not subject to the decision(s) the entire senate made. Remember the persons in question didn't solely screen and clear the ministers nor the budget or the other elements you mentioned but the entire senate and no one is question the election that brought the entire senate to being.
Let me ask you a simple question, without swearing-in of Senators-elect can they be called Senators? If Saraki that swore them in became Senate President illegally would the action of Saraki and those Senators be legal?Look at the law books and answer these questions sincerely. Thanks

People like Dino should not be scared to go to court to prove that there was no forgery of truly there was not one . What is the big deal in Nigeria when you are asked to go prove that truly you don't perpetuate an act of truly you did not. It common practice everywhere except you have something to hide . It is highly sad when a whole senator of the Federal Rebulic calls a hon. Minister a nuisance . This shows the level of our ethos n morality
Pls we shld be mindful of what we write or say to support these politicians who dont care a bit about our laws. I dont support Dino on his choice of words but you shld understand that Senate is autonomous, they make their own rules that governs their internal affairs. AGF, a member of the executive has no right to interfare with it. It is the Senators themselves that can take their Principal Officers to court on this particular issue.

If they are saying what they used in electing the Principal Officers was forged, it therefore means that everything that had happened and still happening under the present senate including swearing in of Senators, Ministerial Screening, 2016 budgets, etc, is all null and void.

AGF is more than a nuisance, na ode him be

Some are even looking for who to touch them for free. Judge pls send him to jail for ignoring those ladies who are willing and ready for action to the one that will put him in trouble

This is the worst thing I have seen or heard since 1960 and yet all the economists, financial experts, professors and media houses in this country have all gone dumb. Smh
