FreeStuffsNG: So much interview of Asiwaju are all over the internet.
He can't and will never prioritize it now just to feed the minority social media crew.
HE Atiku fell for it and lost out after realizing that 90% of where most of the votes will come from are not even going to hear about the interview so Asiwaju Tinubu must take his time until the debate to attend to question.
Asiwaju Tinubu should keep his eyes on the ball. All social media want is the entertainment and the cashing out from ads like Nairaland too and does not bring real votes. Which debate? You think BAT will attend debate with Obi and Atiku? That's a tall dream. His handlers will never allow that to happen, debate is not speech reading? He will be the last amongst the top 3 candidates and is sure to make a lot of mistakes since it won't be scripted. Buhari avoided such embarrassment intelligently. He is better off doing his stuff behind the scenes and coming out on podiums just shouting party slogans and other stuffs they do like sharing money. Unfortunately BAT is no longer the BAT that was Governor of Lagos, that time is long gone. Old age has affected his competitiveness. |

Whether you don't pay it today, you will pay it Tomorrow.vyou think if you sign a contract of 1billion today , you will still pay one billion at the end of the contract? Inflation adjustment will also come into play. 1billion today can never be one billion in 1year. A government can do that if the contractor has shown previously that it can be trusted and has delivered same promises they made. There was verified news outlet that identified some, one even supposedly posted on his timeline on Facebook regards this issue. The best way to do this damage control is to tell the public the identify of these men and which Christian group they are identified with so that so called 'naysayers' can go and verify and permanently remain silent. This is not so, from that Statement how do you identify that they were not fake? We should do better in this country it shouldn't be business as usual. |

As soon as your wife starts cheating, just know there's something that you are not doing, go down on your knees and pray, don't let another man break your home. Always appear neat the way you were the very first time you approached her and don't yell at her all the time, show her care and love so that she will not look outside, sometimes walk around naked and don't wear anything to bed, always try to catch her attention. Thanks and God bless you as you do so. You don't blame the cheater you blame another. Taking responsibility for ones actions is not in your dictionary, what then makes one an adult? |

Abi what is Orton saying again bayi? Atiku made a big blunder, instead of him to choose his vice he told the party's committee to vote and select a candidate amongst Wike, Okowa, and Udom when he already had someone in mind. The party met and deliberated , wike name came out tops but he rejected it and still picked his option. The question is why go that route when you have an option already? He created more enemies for himself with that whole process. I guess thats what got Wike upset. Atiku needs to rally round and close all loopholes around him if he really want to win. |

A manager who is not ready to learn little about everything thing under his custody isn't ready for the duties of a manager and therefore deserves summary dismissal. People who know little about an endeavor are more likely to make better informed decisions regarding that specific field unlike those who know nothing. The president will appoint people to head specific agencies , if he is not knowledgeable he will keep signing papers he knows nothing about. Leading to continuous draining of our treasury which we all want to bring to a halt. Knowledge should be continuous , it is not easy to keep pace with the ever changing and dynamic world we live in. This is happening because Ukraine at the start of the War is at a disadvantaged position, if negotiation had gone through during this period Ukraine would loose out completely. For them to have power to turn the tide on the negotiation table they needed to assert themselves militarily during this course of this conflict. Negotiation which the US, France and UK encouraged before the War, was rejected by Putin outrightly because negotiating at the point will give him little advantage than when he has Ukraine at it's neck. The US knows this gimmicks that is why it has to help out Ukraine to hold the Russians at Bay for as long as possible. Furthermore, the Russians fell into the hands of the Americans, they have poor economy when compared to the US. The US has seen that this is an opportunity to further degrade a country that is a threat to it's national security, so they will do all they can to cripple the economy of Russia inorder to further weaken the negotiation power of Russia when they come to the negotiation table. Unfortunately, in war there is usually no Victor because everyone looses irrespective of the number of lives lost on both sides. If the US doesn't take these steps the Ukrainians will surfer and will come with zero might to the negotiation table. My thoughts. |

It is USA, Britain etc that is calling it a war
It is called a special military operations by the Russian state and government.
The Agenda of the Russian state government according to President Vladimir Putin is to destroy the military and economic threat which Ukraine pose to Russia with it's attempt to join NATO and Eu. You did not state your position, if it's a war or not. Dictionary difinition of War is 'a state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country' If this is to go by then the US is very correct to call it a war because it has all the ingredients of a war. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Finnish And Swedish Leaders To Hold Joint Press Conference On NATO Membership by idahme(m): 6:06am On Apr 14, 2022 |
Kingsnairaland: EU fell right into US trap! The Ukrainian crisis has nothing to do with Ukraine. It’s about Germany and, in particular, a pipeline that connects Germany to Russia called Nord Stream 2. Washington sees the pipeline as a threat to its primacy in Europe and has tried to sabotage the project at every turn. Even so, Nord Stream has pushed ahead and is now fully-operational and ready-to-go. Once German regulators provide the final certification, the gas deliveries will begin. German homeowners and businesses will have a reliable source of clean and inexpensive energy while Russia will see a significant boost to their gas revenues. It’s a win-win situation for both parties.
The US Foreign Policy establishment is not happy about these developments. They don’t want Germany to become more dependent on Russian gas because commerce builds trust and trust leads to the expansion of trade. As relations grow warmer, more trade barriers are lifted, regulations are eased, travel and tourism increase, and a new security architecture evolves. In a world where Germany and Russia are friends and trading partners, there is no need for US military bases, no need for expensive US-made weapons and missile systems, and no need for NATO. There’s also no need to transact energy deals in US Dollars or to stockpile US Treasuries to balance accounts. Transactions between business partners can be conducted in their own currencies which is bound to precipitate a sharp decline in the value of the dollar and a dramatic shift in economic power. This is why the Biden administration opposes Nord Stream. It’s not just a pipeline, it’s a window into the future; a future in which Europe and Asia are drawn closer together into a massive free trade zone that increases their mutual power and prosperity while leaving the US on the outside looking in. Warmer relations between Germany and Russia signal an end to the “unipolar” world order the US has overseen for the last 75 years. A German-Russo alliance threatens to hasten the decline of the Superpower that is presently inching closer to the abyss. This is why Washington is determined to do everything it can to sabotage Nord Stream and keep Germany within its orbit. It’s a matter of survival.
That’s where Ukraine comes into the picture. Ukraine is Washington’s ‘weapon of choice’ for torpedoing Nord Stream and putting a wedge between Germany and Russia. The strategy is taken from page one of the US Foreign Policy Handbook under the rubric: Divide and Rule. Washington needs to create the perception that Russia poses a security threat to Europe. That’s the goal. They need to show that Putin is a bloodthirsty aggressor with a hair-trigger temper who cannot be trusted. To that end, the media has been given the assignment of reiterating over and over again, “Russia is planning to invade Ukraine.” What’s left unsaid is that Russia has not invaded any country since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and that the US has invaded or toppled regimes in more than 50 countries in the same period of time, and that the US maintains over 800 military bases in countries around the world. None of this is reported by the media, instead the focus is on “evil Putin” who has amassed an estimated 100,000 troops along the Ukrainian border threatening to plunge all of Europe into another bloody war.
All of the hysterical war propaganda is created with the intention of manufacturing a crisis that can be used to isolate, demonize and, ultimately, splinter Russia into smaller units. The real target, however, is not Russia, but Germany. Check out this excerpt from an article by Michael Hudson at The Unz Review:
“The only way left for U.S. diplomats to block European purchases is to goad Russia into a military response and then claim that avenging this response outweighs any purely national economic interest. As hawkish Under-Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Victoria Nuland, explained in a State Department press briefing on January 27: “If Russia invades Ukraine one way or another Nord Stream 2 will not move forward.” (“America’s Real Adversaries Are Its European and Other Allies”, The Unz Review)
There it is in black and white. The Biden team wants to “goad Russia into a military response” in order to sabotage NordStream. That implies there will be some kind of provocation designed to induce Putin to send his troops across the border to defend the ethnic Russians in the eastern part of the country. If Putin takes the bait, the response would be swift and harsh. The media will excoriate the action as a threat to all of Europe while leaders around the world will denounce Putin as the “new Hitler”. This is Washington’s strategy in a nutshell, and the whole production is being orchestrated with one goal in mind; to make it politically impossible for the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to wave NordStream through the final approval process. Hi Your write-up is too skewed in one direction and also have lots of false narrative but will just point out @bolded The link shows Russian invassion post Soviet Union and a total false narrative as you have asserted a above . It's necessary to dish out accurate information while educating the public https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_invasion |

Excuzeme: You cant distribute Passports to those who dont want it! These people are not Nigerians who will take up any foreign Passport , in desperation
Russian Ethnic Speakers form a large part of Ukraine, Russian language use to be an "official language" in Ukraine (till the Neo-Nazis took power and abolished the language of about half of their population!). Ukraine used to be a member of USSR, just as Russia, so they share a lot with Russia.
The people of Dombas are being treated like "Aliens", by the Pro-American Neo-Nazis in Kiev. War was levied on them, using state power (imagine Nigeria govt and using all its miliatry might on Biafra) and there was Ethnic Cleansing of Russian Speakers in Ukraine.
So, they cried out to "Mother" Russia and ask if Russia will just fold its hands and watch them exterminated? Russia tried the United Nations, wrote Letters to America, wrote Letters to NATO, spoke with the EU, Germany and France responded and a "Minsk Agreement" was reached. Ukrainian neo-Nazi Govt refuse to implement the Agreement. Russia went back to Germany and France and another "Minsk 2" agreement was reached, yet the Neo-Nazis in Ukrainian govt refused to implement these Agreements and keep killing these Ethnic Russians, in Donbas Region.
Having exhausted ALL OPTIONS, Russia knew it has reached the end of the Wall. The Ethnic Russians in Donbas then said Russia needs to help them out because RIGHT NOW, they are RUSSIANS, despite living in Ukraine. Russia said it cannot intervene in Ukraine, because it is a different country and they are "Ukrainians". The People of Donbas then said they want to take up their "Motherland" Citizenship. They all started pplying for Russian Citizenship. We all know, that like in football, you can declare for a country, if you have a birth-link to the country.
These People voluntarily took up Russian Citizenship, by acquiring Russian Passport.
That is not a fault of Russia but of Ukraine's leadership to give its Ethnic Russians, a sense of belonging.
I have gone to these great lengths, to ensure that all of us know the story of the Donbas Region why Russia will support their independence from Kiev (Ukraine) and why Russia has recognized the two break-away Republics of the Donbas Region. I must say you responded as a smart folk without necessarily bringing emotions and tantrums which moat persons on this platform exude. I must give you credit for that. We may be economical with the truth if we assert that Russian foreign policy did not force to distabilize Ukraine by forcing it's will on the Ukrainian people. Pro Russian president was sent packing through popular revolution of the majority of the Ukrainian people and ever since Russian aim is to annex as much part of Ukraine as she seems fit. I wanted to go further but discovered @ bolded you already have a very pro Russian ideology of the crises, so I will just take a chill pill at this point. Once more you exude intellect regardless , have a great day. |
