If anything, the head of state is the number 1 priority when it comes to security of the nation. As long as there are ministries and departments of health giving updates, I don't know wether you expect the president's update to bring about a cure.

Mind you, if someone else takes over from him at this stage, things will get worse because change of government will only benefit us when things are in a normal state. Everyone that replaces him will still complain that there was crisis when they came in.

I don't understand their headache with speech and update by the president. We get updates several times a day by the people the president assigned to talk to us, to advise us and ti fight this virus.
