Obviously, you can classify this as a glitch or oversight, just like a phone hanging. Your final due diligence and judgement is final.

this your "scientific research" E get as e be. Anyway From what one of their rep told me. Names that are approved immediately are names with current sort after keywords.(they sort the keywords monthly)

Names that get rejected immediately are names that include blacklisted keywords (yes they do that),so they get rejected automatically. Some keywords become blacklisted once they stop selling or become too saturated in the marketplace

Plus or minus, a name that is rejected quickly passes through their filter criteria without giving it a second thought because it is not too good. A name held for long definitely has some proven attributes which you've to re-evaluate based on individual's experience anyway before you take a decision to register or not to register if you like.

My own case is even different. it was rejected twice, and i left it like that since june. So all of a sudden last week, they said it has been approved. My thought is that someone else submitted it and i was given the approval instead of the person because the user name they called me in my mail self no be mine. .
while sometimes ago my own name that was approved as premium was waiting to go life and they suddenly withdraw it , saying it was an error. Its now in brandbucket. Their mata tire person.

Here is a secret that anyone can profit from. SH review experts have their criteria for accepting names, okay? Now, you experience a situation where you send in a name and it is rejected the next day. Other times, you send in a name and it's auto approved within hours. There is also a situation where a name is held for 30 days or more before it is dropped.

They send transaction alert for all other transactions apart from withdrawal from Paypal (I don't know why). Wot I normally do is after withdraw I recharge like N100 so I'll get debit alert and know how much is in the card..

Thanks pal, this is it. But why is UBA not sending transaction alert for their AfriCard? This is appalling especially when one is involved with international transactions. Even if someone or fraudster has gotten hold of one's card and money is being siphoned in tranches, one won't know. Hmmm!

Yes it takes days if you're not paying transfer fee, but less than 30 mins if you paid for the transfer fee.

But PayPal deducted $5 from source before transfering the net.

I decided to open PayPal Lesotho account for a separate business project. I received my first fund into the account and initiated transfer to my UBA Visa Card International Instant High Naira. However, PayPal says it takes 72 hours for fund to clear. Is it normal or okay? The card has been verified previously!

Meanwhile, anyone with a clue of why some names could be sold for huge amounts (30, 40, 60k $), these names aren't even the "Almighty" 2L,3L or 4L ones. Using AbdulBasit's type of names as case study.

I was arguing with a friend that I think most of those names were been bought by the previous owners who were maybe careless (Bet9ja's kinda case), or went on a low due to a fin. crisis and now coming back up.

My reason is, I dont think a new company would start a brand seeing that the domain name is taken and been listed for a huge pricetag and go ahead to buy that name if not that there is already a relationship with that name.
