U1:It is not what the gurus are saying. I presume that the guys that bought that domain name know what to do with it. They must be SEO experts or they have the budget to outsource that job. The keyword they want is the "insulation company" and the word "the" in the domain name is a "definite article" as we were taught in secondary school. So, if I say this is "the criminal," you know that there is certainty. Domaining requires intelligent research, gut instinct and high dose of grace. Miss any of these virtues and you'll struggle in this business. But that is not my prayers for all readers of this thread. iCauseTrouble:Personally, the benchmark is from two angles. If I'm getting a domain to flip (i.e. not to hold or develop), I go for greater than or equal to $1 CPC. But if it is to hold or develop, I don't care about low or high CPC. My focus will be on high "search volume." For the competition, I'm not sure from which ED's filter tabs you're referencing to ask this question. I think competition generally refers to the "number of advertisers" for your target domain name keyword. It is from Google Ads (formerly Adwords) data. 3 Likes |

iCauseTrouble:It indicates the potential value of a target "keyword." This is usually determined by pay per click (PPC) advertisers. Higher CPC for a keyword means higher value for that keyword and if you have it as an exact match domain (EMD), you're literally holding a duly signed blank cheque. The Rewards of Giving Freely In the bible, specifically Acts 20:35, it says, "...it is more blessed to give than to receive" and Luke 6:38 buttressed it further with "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." That is basically the spirit of the internet since yesterday being Black Friday. It was a time of giving and everyone shopped online experienced price reduction from their buying spree. In our own little way also, at our budding digital marketing training academy, we offered 10 students ridiculously low training fees to help them book a seat in the online marketing train. Now the party is over! Meanwhile, it’s high time you prepare and plan for year 2020. If you want to become self-employed entrepreneur in year 2020, you’ve to consider starting an online business now. You should find ways and means to learn how to make money online in 2020 either as a side hustle or full time business. Some years back now I took that entrepreneur’s journey and it has been a great experience without mincing words. I’ve learnt so many things along the way and I’m happy about it. Thereafter, you go to your account with ConnectReseller to point your domain name to the web host name servers info you were given. Thank God everything went well for you. I missed your question, I should have answered your question immediately so that Zenith Bank will have -1 customer. They are too proud. Many years back, I wanted to open an account with them and I sent my wife to my friend/colleague with N50,000. She came back and said they have placed the money in a "pool." It was good news when PayPal opened the doors to Nigerians to use their payment platform to make online payments without any hassle. Although it is okay on the one hand, the bank or company that it has not done enough to balance the equilibrium. Years have passed now without PayPal opening the doors for Nigerian merchants to receive payment from selling goods and services online. It is time to speak out so that those involved should sit up and do the needful. If there are technologies these bank should put in place to make PayPal management allow us to use PayPal Business Account without working around some bottlenecks with fear and trepidation, let them do it. Ultimately, it benefits everyone involved in the service chain. I want to know the bank that brought PayPal to Nigeria and let us reach out to them to know what is stalling the next phase of PayPal allowing Nigerians to create merchant account to receive payments for digital products and services as well as physical goods/services. I’m not sure, I think someone said it was First Bank then. Can we get their technology department team to address this issue? The year 2020 should not be a time to only pay, pay and pay.
