ariesbull: Why must IMO people disgrace the whole igbo race
Why always them .... From Rochas to this one
Why always them ? Weak cultural ground. You know they create new town/autonomous community everyday... . There are like a million "kings" in that state. They have no minute sense of togetherness. And when they see how we keep developing a cultural homogeneity and ideology they want to ruin it. It is pitiful. |

Be fast about it because the Anioma state caucas already have Onitsha in their eyes, especially when it comes to forming a large capital from Asaba to Onitsha. You can spoon feed me , at least not with ignorance. The problem with you is that you are obsessed with Anambra. There was a clamor for state creation from south east. While some of us were suggesting Anioma the the shortsighted wanted to make a room for their personal interest. Agbogidi will never suggest a state that will cut Onicha out and added to Anioma. By the way , what change will state creation bring to your region ? What stopped from developing your region now ? You guys are just madly jealous and obsessed with Anambra. And , you know what obsession explains ? I really dont want to be rude and ruin the purported "Igbo unity" |

Always disgracing us igbo... Especially imo state people
Look at Ohaneze that Anambra held nicely no qualms, Anioma held nicely no qualms, Enugu had their own no qualms but now imo state.. they are messing up big time... They can't out their house in order...
In governor elections the state would mess us giving us supreme court governor
Ohaneze electron, imo state would mess up also.. especially these Orlu folks.
Two different elections held consecutively on Saturday and Sunday in Imo State, have produced Chidi Ibeh and George Obiozor as the President Generals of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
Very disgracing and clownish people all they know is build hotels and fück around then do jegee ndi washi washi

They want the disintegration of Anambra state

We have built Anambra as a big brand and identity, we can stand on our own , so they should leave us alone I dont want to say Ndi Imo have inferiority complex but some of them have continued to call us names. Anambra has gradually build our brand to a national phenomena and now they want to dismantle it out of jealousy. |

ariesbull: When you say Onitsha... Where in Onitsha would be in Anioma... What you people call Onitsha is inland town... Which int upto 20% of Onitsha .... Iweka, Awada , Nkpor, Nkwelle, 33, Mgbuka etc are not Onitsha but we call them Onitsha for adminstrative purposes
It's like saying Lagos which is just island (CMS,IDUMOTA, IDUMAGBO) while Surulere, Ikeja etc are not Lagos but for adminstrative purposes theey are under Lagos
Also, mind you the inland town you said that your so called Anioma state would add, let me tell you one thing we know in Anambra, the land where the so called Onitsha are were given to them by Obosi, Nkpor and Awada folks... They can tell them to go back to the Anioma and retrieve their land .... They know these things
Onitsha is tiny (inland town ) just like owerri... ( Which is town made up of 5 villages umuororonjo, umuonyeche, umuoyima, amawom and one other village) the main owerri starts from weathral road and end in douglas road....! That is main town... You can't call orji, new owerri, Irete, amakohia , nekede, Owerri... But they are under owerri capital territory
Now the question is where do you want to share in Onitsha... Is it the inland town that is so tiny and in the middle surrounded by Nkwelle, Obosi, Nkpor and Nteje .. these are not Onitsha and they even gave Onitsha people the land but people think that it's Onitsha
Stop being jealous of Anambra my dear....
River is always a natural boundary globally .... And Anioma starts from Asaba and ends in Agbo or Igbanke... It's big enough, they should develop their state and stop depending on oil, same with Imo state , they should develop their states and stop depending on hotels and 419... Aba should vote Intellectually sound people
Ebonyi state is trying Anambra is trying Enugu is trying Nwanne, Onicha doesnt speak anything close to Asaba, rather they sound almost 100% like their neighbors Obosi, Nkpor , Ogidi , Oze ,Okpoko etc. These people pray for disintegration of Anambra like their life depends on it....lol |

The Benin army was defeated by the british in 1897 or rather 1898 if you count the guerrilla warfare, and the Benin army was disbanded that same year. The civil war took place between 1967 and 1970. So your biafran well armed and well trained soldeirs were fighting unarmed and peaceful civilians, a little bit like operation "python dance" was fighting unarmed igbo civilians (although not peaceful). Emlproperties: Hope you know that the Obi of Onitsha is clamouring for Orimili state incase Anioma doesn’t work. Guess why? He says they are loosing their real Onitsha dialect to this nebulous Anambra dialect you brag about? The same applies to the Nnewi people the likes of Agumba who is trying to bring back the real Nnewi dialect back to prominence.
Lets tell ourselves the truth. The same way the Igbo denials of Etche are shocked to see themselves carved into Imo state, is the same way you’ll be shocked to see parts of Anambra, Imo and Rivers joined together as the 6th or 7th SE state. This is a bold face lie! The Agbogidi will never make such statement and I challenge you to produce some evidence. You cant know Ndi Onicha more than us , the Idenmili/Oyi / Ogbaru. Onicha dialect was morphed upon their settlement at their current location. All you people do is propagate how to dismantle the Omanbala cultural homogeneity. |

Even if you are correct, that doesn't give credence to what adadike opined. Igbo migration went southward and the dialectical shift is there as a proof. For instance , as you go south from Idenmili you will notice the towns in Idenmili south like Awka Etiti, Oraukwu , Nnobi begins to sound a bit like the Anaedo dialects fo Ekwusigo and Nnewi north. |

When was Anambra state created and why do you think simple mapping makes one people better than others.
Anyone can elevate his or herself but don't go rubbing it on other people's faces like you are better than them. I dont subscribe to the first born claims but Anambra has rich culture which is very elegant and boisterous on its own. If you understand the nze na ozor institution and the way it elevates the initiate to a noble status , the Anambra man's expectation to join the society and elevate himself then you will understand our thought process. We practice a well painstakingly developed noble culture. However, the hate towards ndi Anambra started with the marriage thing. In the 70's and , 80's and 90's we were not encouraged to marry from Imo and Ndi Imo hated Anambra for that. |

Emlproperties: Read up your post and you’ll see the insecurity written all over it. Why will you jump to derail a thread when you don’t know the content of it. You may not have started it, but the insecure ones from your place almost made a mess of it from the word go. The attitude you displayed from your onslaught was why the likes of Ikengawo showed his own bad side. And I was deeply disappointed with him.
The phrase “Soul of Igbo nation” is correct. Those before you were not wrong to call the area where the Isu, Oru and Orsu inhabited by such name. The location of Orlu in the heart of Igboland and its reputation as the last place to surrender during the war is appropriate. Even if a 2nd war is fought tomorrow, Orlu will still remain the last vestige to bow to foreign occupation. Right from antiquity when Benin, Igala were encroaching Igbo territories, Orlu despite closer to the River Niger where the Jukun-Igala navy ran riot and where the Benin forces spread their tentacle was unaffected. Why did you think Orlu was unaffected? One, its large swat of forest, two its population, three its bravery, and four the River Niger to which the Oru’s navigated up to the mouth of the atlantic. An Umuoji man can never be insecure , you called me insecure that why I am replying you. And no , Anambra man can never be insecure because we are too loaded with amazing cultures , wealth and super stars in all field. You just hate our proudness. However, that is your own problem. All these stuff you are writing is irrelevant. I am just here to correct you. And , no , Orlu is not the soul of Igbo nation because you have absolutely nothing to qualify you as the soul. Stop assigning titles to yourselves. And , no , you arent brave. Aro sold you like chickens to Anglo Saxons including Jaja , Olauda. Go and read your history. |

Juicegal: You are also correct. Parts of Nnewi south , Ekwusigo, and all of Ihiala LGAs used to be under Orlu division of Owerri Province. Their dialects are also almost the same with Orsu, Orlu and Oru which are border LGAs in Imo state. A lot of kith and kins were separated while states were being apportioned. For example, Orsumoghu in Anambra and Umuhuokabia(Lazarus Mouka community) in Imo states are brothers same as isseke - Ibiasiegbe -Amorka, Ubulu yet partitionrd into different states. No, the dialects of Nnewi , Ekwusigo and SOME Ihiala are not "almost the same with Orsu , Orlu and Oru". I know Nnewi , Ekwusigo and Ihiala. The Ihiala are related with Orlu etc but not Nnewi and Ekwusigo. |
