I'm sure the get the point in the scenario am trying to paint.the OP is trying to understand the gay mentality..and not how flexible or soft a woman should be..

You didn't have to be sarcastic!! I just added more light, from my position, to what you wrote. Why are you antsy?

My point is that gays and straight people do not necessarily respond the way you said. The issues of feminity and masculinity are very important. Lesbians and gays still seek these parallels (a strong bodied lesbian once told me she only goes for very soft women), so the instinct for sexuality is more deep than can be easily understood.

My take is that as we grow, we develop instincts and inhibitions occasioned by nature and our environment. Our genetic makeup and other influencers determine the extent to which we respond to both nature and the environment. Some triumph and meet societal expectations, others "fail". These failures are called societal aberrations.

Modernity and globalization has also affected what is termed a societal aberration. Largely, it's been left to judicial pronouncements and personal feelings. In that context, I'd like to state this personal feeling:

HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN AGAINST GOD AND MAN!!

Well I think it's all in the head.I mean the human mentality.it could be natural, could be social, and it could be peer influenced....for example if u r a guy naked in a dark room and someone touches u down there but u r not allowed to touch back...there's every possibility u'll get pleasure since u can't tell if it's male or female touching u.but immediately the light comes on and u can see which gender is touching u. then ur mentality kicks in, u either continue or get mad depending on which attracts u, male or female.
So the issue isn't about the nature of the sexxual pleasure be it penetration or just caressing....its more about who u r with..cos i think guys have sex with some ladies in both holes.....so if u r a lesbian female u would prefer another female to stick a dildoo down there than for a man to do it.same thing will probably go for the gay guys..my opinion though..

If the hands in the dark are hard or calloused, I would object... even if I put on the light and find its a female. I personally don't get the gay thing... I don't even like females with hard bodies, no matter how shapy!!! A true woman should be soft and flexible!!

You're super poor at reasoning!

Reasoning has to do with processing data through one's mental seive (which could be affected by prejudice, knowledge or even natural aptitude ); Comprehension on the other hand deals largely with intelligence. An illiterate can comprehend, but reason differently. Any person who can't comprehend simple things needs serious intervention. God help you!!

This interview brought light to several things;

1. Yorubas' fought on igbo side during the civil war and as such contributed to their successful exploit.

2. zik and other igbo leaders were tiped off of the coup.( why is it that no single igbo leader was killed during the coup while other tribes leaders were killed? )

3. Awolowo was not guilty of stopping food delivery to Biafra because the food meant for the civilians keep ending up in the hands of the biafran soldiers. ( Have you ever seen or heard that the United states feed its enemies when they are at war with them?)

4. Aburi addressed what the biafrans wanted but both parties still preferred war( maybe Gowon got schooled on the agreement he signed when he got back to Nigeria and he saw that he had given out too much to Biafra. )

5. The coup was the brain child of the igbos and they only invited other soldiers from other tribes who they think can help them succeed in their plan.

Questions that need answers.

1. Why attack Yoruba land called Ore in Ondo state?

2. Why was banjo the Yoruba soldier that lead the biafrans military to several victories really killed?

3. Why did the biafran military accept all the food that the civilians were handing over to them when can see that the civilians are dying of starvation?

4. Why is it that other soldiers from tribes were not involved in the main plan of the coup but the igbo coup plotters only involved some of them because they lack logistics , communication facilities & other things; they only briefed them on what they want them to know & the task they want them to perform?.

Conclusion.

Both parties are to blame for the war as they missed it one way or the other.

You're pretty poor at comprehension!

I truly query your intellect if this is what you deduced from the writing above. Are you a graduate? It's truly sad!

HungerBAD:
Interesting.

The part where he said the Easterners were not chasing him from the East, is really an Eye opener. The truth is, if i were him i probably would have stayed back in the East and fought on the side of those that freed me from Prison.

He could have been killed when the Eastern Soldiers Soldiers met him in Prison.

His interview, also confirmed to us what we had known for a long time, and that is, ZIK and other top Eastern Politicians were tipped off by the Eastern Coup Plotters, and that is why they were conveniently not around, when they struck.

I have also followed the stories, and the name calling of those from the West as "COWARDS" all this years. But, reading this story now, will tell you it was actually the East that played a fast one on the West, by hiding their own Politicians while killing those from the North and West.

A very interesting interview.

I don't think you are willing to learn. Now, hear this from one guy to another... I have dated many girls and have never pursued them with cash. In fact, if you show any monetary focus, I drop you like hot bricks. I only spend on old friends who have proved their disinterest in my cash over time. Note, I'm (by God's grace) well above average financially, and have more than one car. I work hard for my earnings and won't be anyone's ATM in the name of wooing. I'd rather go have cold drinks and isi ewu with my chappies!!!

Wake up and smell the coffee! A word is enough for the wise!

[b]I thought I was the only one who noticed how dumb the nigga is. Like getting a car before an apartment? Who thinks that way

Well, I thought people are suppose to learn each day but it seems the youths of this generation keeps getting dumber.

The major reason why it's gonna take a long time before average youths of this generation make it big is because we keep investing on unnecessary items.

Believe me I know that nigga is poor because he can't even afford cash to get a car and an apartment at the same time according to the OP's illustration...(chicken change for yahoo guys)

For a single guy in his category, what is the big deal if he gets an apartment (2bedroom flat) and use the other cash to furnish his apartment. But instead he acted like a dummy he is and went along to get a car (don't tell me it is because he really needs it. It is because he wants to cruise around and form "big boy" shey?) a car that can break down tomorrow and the amount you will use in repairing it will be thousands of naira. These guys no get sense again

Jewish tradition has boy children's penis skin cut off at 8 days old... just bc. Especially when was first done it appeared especially barbaric to outsiders. Parent's here have sharp needles pierced through their baby girl's ears before they are old enough to consent, for beauty. So tribal marks and the like don't seem so far off from these accepted practices. yes, from the outside certain cultural traditions can seem ignorant. Some are especially disconcerting imo it involves the killing of people. Then again, even in "civil" society we kill ppl who commit certain crimes, we've legal abortions. Legal systems reflect culture as well...

You are right, you can choose to live in a culture-less way of life, though that may prove impossible as you're bound to adopt one cultural practice or another unless you live in your home & never leave. I sense you just look down upon certain cultural traditions while viewing others as just normal behavior, not understanding everything anyone does is representative of a culture, modern or otherwise.

Igbos don't say you are not Igbo: hypocrites amongst you say they are not Igbo; when you ask someone which tribe he/she is from and you hear "Delta", you'd know that it's a Delta Igbo. An Urhobo man would say "Urhobo...ditto for an Isoko man!

Sheikwonder:
Ishilove has set the honey down...let the ants begin to attack...

Meanwhile,my own take on the matter is quite simple...

Do the Igbos have a right to seek secession? Perhaps.

But...

Even though I'm Igbo,I know that this will not work.
You see,I'm what the Igbos call 'Delta Igbo'.
They say we are not 'Real' Igbo. So we keep quiet while we are marginalized even among our own people.

So imagine the irony when these so called IPOB come to us and ask us to join in the struggle... What struggle, pray tell? So that after you have acheived your selfish aim,you would then marginalize us again?

Once bitten is twice shy... I shall recline to the quiet from whence I came, while I laugh in Delta Igbo.....

How bigoted and dull can a person be? You make me ashamed of being a Nigerian!

No point responding to your tripe! People who make blanket assumptions from their narrow understanding often suffer from a silent malaise that is beyond rhetoric!

Aufbauh:
Everyone will always love or hate something for a particular reason whether fictitious or real.
We should not also forget the fact that our happiness or otherwise is not dependable on anyone but ourselves. We can generate love or hate for something depending on our strategic positioning.
The Op maybe right in some cases but the factors he mentioned may not just be a sudden occurrences or conscious design to relegate others but a strategic positioning of the people.
The southeasterners cry of marginalisation in critical sectors of the government today is probably as a result of the foundation they have laid after the post civil war. Most of them were not interested in the civil service as they prefers private business and daily earnings.
I could remember when after my primary school in the eighties, most of our best student in the class who are Ibos decline to further and prefer to serve a master of trade.
They probably felt making money through the huddles of schooling is a long process even though they were brilliant in the classroom.
The mentality that the civil service is a slow process of progress as against the quick return from business has been ingrained in them, that is why a typical Ibo man will brag in the street that he don't the government to survive not knowing that the government decide policies and programs that determine the environment for his business.
In my region, the middle belt there's a consciousness and willingness to serve the government especially in the military or paramilitary and that is why in every 10 military or paramilitary men you see, you can count up to 6 or more as a middle beltan.
Those who choose to build a career with patience will always rise through the ranks.
The typical hausa-fulani man is political conscious and that is why they are always eager to know who governs them by participating more in the electioneering processes.
The yoruba is investment conscious, always thinking of what legacies he will bequeath his offspring and not competing against kinsmen and that is why they are patient in their dealings.
The Ibo man thinks of his immediate wealth and worth to showcase before peers and kins and that is why they are more concerned about daily turnover that will boost and build their immediate financial standing.

Politics / Re: Fraudulent Billing At Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Exposed by ideykwum: 5:58am On Dec 01, 2015
Find out where your Abuja Consumer Forum holds! Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission handles it! You channel your concerns there , it would be looked into!

If it was Phc, I would have assisted! Wish you luck!

quote author=Josh316 post=40562821]I'm writing this to ensure that someone from the AEDC, and Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission hear my voice and take me seriously, before a hefty lawsuit lands on their desks.

I am an Abuja resident, living in a two bedroom apartment at Mbora, Abuja. For close to three years, I have not had a meter. Fortunately, my landlord got a prepaid meter installed at my premises on the 11th of November, 2015.
Prior to this, I had been exploited, and robbed practically by the AEDC Jabi office. They initially started by issuing estimated bills for 800 units consumed, even during the worst of the blackouts in my area. Then the evil tariff increase was implemented early last year, while they continued issuing their billing for their fabled mirage of 800 units consumed in a two bedroom apartment! The theft then took a new twist with crazy increases in the estimated units from 800 in January to 1280 units in Feb, and kept fluctuating between 1000 units and 1360 units as recently as Oct this year.

When my meter was installed on the 11th of November, I had gone to the AEDC office to inform them about the meter which had been installed and to urge them on the need for the bill for November to capture only the first 11 days of the month. I also procured N8000 worth of units which came to 525 units. As i write this, i have used only 380 units of the 525 within the 19 days of the month. NOTHING in my house has changed and i still run my AC and my fridge and freezer are switched on as always. My bulbs have always been energy saving

Now imagine my shock and anger when I returned home today to receive a supposed November bill stating that i had used 1280 units of electricity!!! As in HOW!!!

For starters, I had previously engaged this same AEDC jabi office in a battle over illegal disconnections to my apartment over a couple of unpaid bills which had resulted from my continuous opposition to the blatant exploitation. I had written their office and copied the NERC and their AEDC HQ on the need to review this estimated bill downwards as it was unrealistic and exploitative. They refused to review this.

Now that I have this evidence of exploitation, I have written to their Twitter handle, Facebook and to their customer care and I will write and submit a letter to their HQ, copying the Federal Ministry of Power, EFCC, and NERC, requesting a review and refund of the exploited bills paid as well as compensation for the refusal to review my bills to near appropriate estimates. i am willing to engage AEDC in a legal battle for refund and compensation.

I had been paying N20,000 monthly to just cover the bills which ran into thousands, sometimes as high as N55,000 a month due to the crazy estimated bills.

Thank God i now have a meter, but I shudder to think that these people have milked hundreds of thousands of unmetered consumers for services mostly NOT rendered. This is wrong.

I will update the house on how the battle goes. If MTN could be fined, AEDC CAN be made to give account of their evil exploitation as a lesson and a warning to other Electricity Distribution Companies.
