Also try and upload the names and religion of the victims of plane crash that killed the former army Chief.
Mind you, IAM not a Muslim before you start thinking rubbish.
How do you correlate a premediated attack by Islamic bandits with unforeseen aircraft accident? Are you insinuating the plane crash was orchestrated by the Christian bandits?

Unfortunately, Katsina State has no intention to secede from Nigeria with its natural wealth. The issue between Southeast and Nigeria does not border on the desert-like real estate such as Katsina State but the lucrative resources abound in in southeast with apparent consequences in southsouth.

What is name calling about my post? According to the Yoruba oral historical facts, Yoruba have gone to war or fought each other over tubers of cocoyam hence the so-called Kiriji War. Be mindful that Yoruba have morphed Kiriji into mother of all wars. Ndigbo and Biafrans fought a war in defense of their sovereignty as result of 1966 pogrom in northern region of Nigeria. Ndigbo can ever acquire cowardice from Yoruba.

Joe Igbokwe says it raw!

"Did the Yoruba go to war when June 12 1993 Presidential Election won by their illustrious son Chief MKO Abiola was annulled on June 23rd 1993 on a sheet of paper by IBB?

Did Yoruba go to war when Abiola’s wife Alhaja Kudirat Abiola was murdered in Lagos in the morning of Jun 4 1996?

Did Yoruba go to war when the winner of that historic election was poisoned on July 7 1998?

Did Yoruba go to war when those who killed Abiola imposed Obasanjo on them as President in 1999?

Did Yoruba accept Chief Ernest Shonekan when IBB made him to head the interim government in 1993? Yoruba rejected OBJ and Shonekan because this unique race has never been slaves to public office and yet they have remained number one in Nigeria in almost everything. This is wisdom and strategic thinking at work.

Those of us who have lived in Yoruba land for years should not only learn how to wear Aso Ebi, eat Ewedu soup or dance Owambe, music.

We must have also learned other unique things from them like sharing property to both male and female children, religious tolerance, ethnic tolerance, transferring legacies from generation to generation. Do you know that APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s wife is a Christian? Do you know that former Governor Fashola’s wife is a Christian? We can learn a lot from Yoruba. Yoruba too can learn from Igbo in areas of thinking home, business enterprise, self-help, apprenticeship, etc.

A Yoruba woman, a Pastor Mrs. Eunice Olawale Elisha of the Redeemed Christian Church of God old NEPA Road Phase 4 Kubwa, Abuja was killed by unknown persons on Saturday morning of July 9, 2016, while preaching the gospel around 5.30am. I have followed the reactions on the internety and Yoruba do not behave like the Igbo. They have been speaking but not preaching hate. They have called for the culprits to be fished out, prosecuted and punished. If Mrs. Eunice Elisha had been an Igbo hell would have been let loose. There would have been abuses and abuses. But Yoruba are not Igbo. This is civilization. This is strategic thinking. I hope our people can learn from this. Civility is not a sign of weakness. He who fights and run away lives to fight another day.

When GEJ marginalized Yoruba in his cabinet for five years despite been the most vocal in an effort to make him president, Yorubas didn't threaten anybody, they didn't abuse anybody, they simply fought in a peaceful & civilized way to effect a change in 2015 using their PVC. Today the most active VP since the independence & most likely, the next president of Nigeria is Yoruba. Fashola heads 3 ministries & referred to as prime minister in some parlance, Kemi Adeosun heads finance, Fayemi heads mines etc. That's how to fight for relevance in multi faceted country like Nigeria & not taking up arm against everybody.

To have ears is not to listen, to listen is not to hear, to hear is not to understand, to understand is not to put to practice. I know that writing this may not get me many friends among the Igbo, but it always gets me the right ones"

Politics › Re: Presidency Blasts Ortom, Accuses Him Of Causing Death Of Innocent Nigerians by Idiko1: 10:25pm On Aug 25, 2021
deltaboyo1:
The Presidency, on Wednesday, berated Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, calling him a sectarian and ethnocentric leader.

In a statement, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, condemned the stance of the governor, particularly on the Ranches Establishment Law.

Shehu alleged that Ortom stirs up hatred against herders and Muslims in the state with the use of languages reminiscent of the Rwandan genocide.

Shehu stated that the governor should not be trusted with holding public office, noting that he was looking forward to the outcome of the next election so Ortom would be voted out.

He said, “Governor Samuel Ortom has few political principles. We can see this from the fact that he has changed political parties five times during his undistinguished career.

“Every time he feels the wind may be blowing in a certain direction, he follows it.

“Unfortunately, for the good citizens of Benue State, the most dangerous direction he blows in today is that of sectarianism and ethnicity.

“In an attempt to boost his sinking political fortunes, Ortom takes the cheapest and lowest route possible by playing on ethnic themes – and in doing so knowingly causes deaths of innocent Nigerians by inciting farmers against herders, and Christians against Muslims.

“Specifically, Ortom stirs up hatred by targeting one single ethnic group in Nigeria – using language reminiscent of the Rwandan genocide.

“As was the case in Rwanda where the then Hutu leaders of the country incited their countrymen against each other, claiming there was a “secret Tutsi agenda” over the Hutu, Ortom claims there is a “secret Fulanization agenda” over other ethnic groups in his state and in Nigeria. This is a copy of the language of Hutu Power - which falsely, and intentionally, accused the Rwandan Tutsi of plans to dominate the country.

“This wicked talk is aimed at giving cover to his so-called “policy” on the Ranches Establishment Law – which in reality is purely an act of denial of the law - intended to withhold rights and freedoms from one ethnic group alone, whilst inciting race hatred against them amongst all others.

“These are not the actions of a man who should be trusted with running public services or holding public office.

“For the governor of a major state in Nigeria to be politically driven by ethnic hatred is a stain on our country.

“The good, and fair-minded people of Benue State deserve more than this, and we look forward to the next elections when they have an opportunity to restore its greatness.”

Garba Shehu, please shut up your putrid mouth. The only sectarian and ethnocentric leader in Nigeria is the goon called Muhammadu Buhari. He appointed only people from northern region of Nigeria and especially Fulani to all the strategic and economic posts in Nigeria. The dingbat has created template for the governance of Nigeria. If I had to become president of the shithole called Nigeria tomorrow, may God forbid a bad thing, all my appointments must come from a particular section of the country.

If you have money to invest in Nigeria, I advise you to look towards Abakaliki. The reason is due to a lot of long-term economic opportunities cropping up in the rising city.

1. The inter-regional road constructed by the African Development Bank from Enugu to Bamenda in Cameroun passes through the city.
2. Along this road, the state is building a world-class economic hub. An important part of this hub is the world-class marketplace. Let me start by sharing some key features of the market (with photos) before I talk about the rare opportunities that hide there and many people are not seeing them.
If Abakaliki is next economic hub, which is the first?

You are correct!! Industries cannot thrive if the nearness to resources and good network of roads remain absent. Ndigbo need a seaport in Igboland or in a state without influence of elements or characters such as Ijaw or Ikwerre. The electricity and gas pipeline should be removed as exclusive domain of federal government. Governmental policies are major killers of industrial growth.

Territories of Countries aren't established just by a traveling narrative of a foreign slave merchant.

You need to know that nobody brought any land from heaven. The lands that a people presently inhabit is the land they are able to posses. This is what Israel and her Arab neighbours have come to understand that no side can push the other side out and both have rights to exist.

In modern international politics, it's no longer acceptable to try to possess a territory by conquering the present inhabitants of the Territories and annex their lands.
The above is a pure rubbish. If a war breaks out, captured areas can be annexed. There was nothing such as West Bank in 1947. The area was known as part of Judea and Samaria. Arab legionnaires led by British commanders captured the place in 1948 from young and new Israeli country. The west in the bank denotes west of River Jordan. Since the Arabs know the implication of returning the name to its original format continued with West bank, a thing usually not in line with Arabs. If the Israelis had the same mindset as the Arabs, the issue of Gaza and West Bank would have long be settled because these goofy Arabs would have been driven into Egypt and Jordan which were their original places of abode.

From what's happening in Nigeria, it shouldn't be surprising if Northern Nigeria fall to Terrorists, with the Attacks on NDA, 2 Majors down, 2 more kidnapped, it is quite terrible, if the North is smart they should relocate Nigerian armory down East.

Well for a Start, the East especially AlaIgbo got some arms that can hold us up for sometimes from the models we got during the last war, putting terrorists in their place won't be a big deal + our department of chemical Engineering can be unlocked in UNN, it won't be a big deal if Northern Nigeria fall but I can't say same about west or middle belt.

Let them relocate some national armory to Enugu these bandits, herdsmen, boko haram and ISWAP guys are not smiling and we can't wait until the North fall before we get ready, I guess now they can see their errors in putting most crucial defence body in the North, all sides should get ready...
