Arda1000: incase you don’t know central Igbo is still the lingua Franca in Obigbo, poster from breweries like Hero etc are used in central Igbo just like you see in Onitsha/Asaba etc so what he said is still valid Not so!!! Anybody born in Obigbo before the Nigeria/Biafra war must know that Opu obu (Opobo) or Igwenga does not belong to Ijaw. The poster's bewilderment on learning Igbo is a native language of Opu obu (Opobo) or Igwenga shows he is after-war-kid. |

Eastlink: Ok, admittedly he had his faults but his attitude of always wanting to force his ideals on our throats is my problem with him. Always finding enemies and saboteurs in the quest for Biafra. IPOB is focused on things that have less affects on Ndigbo.
For me I’m a realist. And I believe we are faced with a lot of distractions that the Biafran struggle has blinded us to see. We’ve been relegated in every sphere in this country. Partly by government and largely by our own attitudes to fight battles that isn't our business. We never put our interest first that’s why we’ve become the laughing stock in PDP. We need a group like the INC or Great Benin Descendants in Igboland. One who's focus is fighting for everything Igbo interest in Nigeria. Territorially, culturally and politically. Not Ohaneze and not IPOB/MASSOB.
Igbo interest alone and nothing else. Which country if I may ask? It is funny for a person who want to believe he/she is realist yet refer to a shithole as country. What a country indeed. |

All our lives the we were made to believe Igboland starts and ends in the southeast,i just watched a video of opobo language it shocked me me that i cam understand their dialect better than Owerri dialect it is pure central Igbo the same as the one spoken in obigbo were i grew up , later they will say Igboland is landlocked thanks to ipob,an Igbo only Biafra is 100 percent viable . The bolded can only be valid if you were born and grew up in Obigbo after Nigeria/Biafra war. |

The CCP is set to take over parts of Montenegro due to that Nation not being able to payback $1bn loan it took from the Chinese EXIM bank to finance a road project to connect rural areas,
The loan was taken in 2015 and up till date no project on site.
What will happen to Nigeria after Buhari leaves and we can't repay the over $3bn used to build a rail line to connect Kano to his cousins in Niger Republic? Arrant nonsense!!!! |

TheLionofLasigi: Your inability to comprehend what I said isn't my problem. I was simply saying that the red cap, like the isi-agwu are both recent additions to igbo culture. god you people are daft.
And the Yoruba culture which you stupidly call relic of history survived the slave ship and made it's way to the Americas, one of the very few African cultures to survive slavery in the new world and is still being practiced over there....back in nigeria when people are referring to Nigerian culture it's largely yoruba culture they're referring to. It's the back bone of modern Nigerian culture and life. Cope on that. I do not lack the ability to comprehend instead you lacked grammatical skills. Even the later application of punctuation could not save you from grammatical doom. A sentence conveys a thought. This banter should not have been an issue if you have written "Red Cap and isi-agwu" or " Red Cap as well as isi-agwu". It is very silly for none Igbo person to speak on what is recent addition to Igbo culture and tradition. |
