Hello nairalanders. Something came up that's bothering me and I would appreciate your input and contributions to find a solution to this ish.

I'll go straight to the point, it happened recently. I got proposed to by three different guys in the space of two days
Let me explain.
The first person has been asking me out for a while now, and actually, I like him. This is because of his simplicity and fear of God. He has every intention of settling down with me very soon, and to be honest, I consider him a suitable daddy to my future kids. The only challenge is, he's not very well to do.

The second guy is an old time friend who is actually in the friendzone. I never considered him for a life partner, just someone I could catch up with from time to time. This guy is quite financially stable. At least, more than my lovely first guy.

And the third guy? This one is not worthy of emulation by my kids at all. His kind of life is not what I'd want my children to grow up watching and following. He does several things that are alien to the life of Christ in me and I cannot picture myself settling with him. But ironically, he wants me at all costs, says he'd love to have a mother like me for his babies

Now to the issue. Guy 1 came around and asked me to marry him. He proposed with a small and simple ring. I was happy, I accepted his proposal. All went well.

Next day, Guy 2 came and ask me to accompany him out. Proposed to me publicly and with a more expensive ring. He made it impossible for me to say no, even though my heart was screaming out loud! Immediately we left there, I removed his ring and threw it somewhere.

That same day, while I was yet to recover from Guy 2's shock, Guy 3 showed up at my doorstep. I welcomed him like any other, only for him to burst my bubble by kneeling in front of me and popping the question. Sincerely I was miserable, but couldn't stop him from sliding this nothing less than 200k engagement ring down my finger.

Now, all guys left, feeling they had engaged me. I love my first guy but these other guys keep dazzling their wealth in my eyes. I don't want to endanger the future of my generation by giving them a father without the right deposit of good qualities to impart their tender lifes, and neither do I want to bring up kids without the necessary comfort they require.

Now, before you condemn me, I'm not a lazy lady waiting for manna to fall for me. I'm hardworking and doing all it takes to make life comfortable for myself and unborn kids. It's just that, when you have two or more options before you, not even you, would prefer the toughest one...(except it's really worth it).

So there you go, nairalanders, please advise me. What do you suggest I do?

Please i am very sorry to come up again with this my fiancee matter again, for those of you who might be familiar with my previous threads concerning her atitudes will understand better. Brief Intro: i met this girl some years back when she was still on 1st Semester 200L in one of the university in SE states, though we met in Lagos...we fell in love <fast forward> i wanted to marry her then but she said i should allow her finish her school before we can officially get married (she was 20yrs then) while i was in my mid 20tez as well, so i decided to wait since i am still young & not in a rush, we are like everyting to each other, i introduced her to my entire family members, friends, relatives & work coliquez, i made them understand we would be getting married during or after her final year in school, we are in a distance relationship because my work takes me to places within & outside the country, we only spent time together only during her hollidays (i.e after 4 months) pratically all her friends knows about me though i never met them in person, we really love each other so much that people believe we are unbreakable... To shortened the story..we spent time together in Lagos last xmas before she traveled for new year..while i stayed back in Lagos, & we have agreed that we would be getting married this being her final year in school, i noticed that since she left for the new year celebration in her village our communication declined so much, she hardly called or pick my calls, when i complained she attributed that to a bad network in the village where she went to spend some days with her friend that was getting married that last year. NOW SHE IS BACK TO SCHOOL..the same thing is still happning, she does not give me much attention again, hardly called, if i called she will claim to be so tired having hectic day in school, so i got tired of everyting yesterday when i called her she did'nt pick my call rather she text me that is was very busy & will call me back when she is done, after 2hrs no call back i decided to call her back & her number was busy, after she done making her call she picked my & said she was on call with her sister, i asked what she was doing that kept her busy from 8;30pm -10:30pm she said she was ironing & cooking. I felt unconvinced i asked her are you tired of me? She said yes & laughed, i was shocked, i ask her why, she said she can't even explain it herself, i then ask..ARE U SEEING SOME ELSE OR HAVING CRUSH ON ANY GUY? She said yes that it started last year, the guy use to come visit her in her hostel, but now she has lost contact with the guy, though nothing has ever happend between then, i felt like i was dreaming because i can swear for this girl that she can never do such...she said though she declined the guys proposal to date him because she does not see the possibility of it happning. Now i fell betrayed after all these years of waiting even when some friends adviced me against it, i have lost the trust in her, right now i feel so hurt, she pleaded that she don't even understand what is happning to her that she is confused, she then said she just feel like being left alone to concentrate in her final year project...please i feel so sad right now because i put all my egg in one basket in the name of love, my imagination is just going wild about her right now, i have lost apitite for food & loosing concentration, i so much love & trust her. Please how do i overcome this now? help me..

Bit of background:

We’ve been together for over a year now, a long distance relationship (I really do hate those). She’s in her second year in school and I am working. We do get to meet some 3 to 4 times a year. Chat, voice calls, video calls remains the order of the day.

On one of those such long calls, I asked she tells something about herself that I don’t know (or she thinks I don’t know) to which she responded that I know everything about her and she turned the question back at me. I initially didn’t apologize cause I had the belief that you shouldn’t apologize if you are not truly sorry, which I wasn’t, after all I was being honest. I eventually did apologize, but she still gets upset and very uncomfortable whenever she sees the friend I question which is, on the average, everyday!

Point of this thread? I would like to hear your views, comments, opinions and/or bashings as I intend to share this with her sometime later hoping it helps us move on.
