BrodaAgbaya: Even though this was long closed and i made my decision already, i must say your response is quite annoying. Am i suppose to compare a Uk salary to my naija salary?? Na naira you dey spend over there?? What`s my business with what you earn over there?? Is it possible for me to work two jobs in Nigeria?? Did i say i was comparing salary with other people or that i was evening earning a large salary??
Abeg shift with your nonsense answer.
Werey you can't even afford coming abroad....stay in Nigeria with your chicken change salary lol broke ass
I was planning to travel out to UK, Germany or any other stable European country for my Master`s by September of this year of which i will be able to raise 2million from my pocket and then borrow about 2/3million from a person i know for some fees then get there are do part times jobs to complete my tuition fee.
After some thoughts, i realized this wasn`t a really smart move cos i have a good job here in Nigeria where I'm paid above 200k each month, This will increase to above 300k in the next 2months still with some bonuses.
Is there any sense in dropping all these to go to a place of uncertainty and start leaving from hand to mouth cos i`d be struggling to pay my debt and tuition??
One of the driving forces towards wanting to travel out is the fear of 2023 elections and the fact that many of my friends we finished together are all travelling out. Yeah, i know the second reason doesn't make sense, but that`s just me being honest here.
My plan now is to keep working here in Nigeria probably for about 3/4 years more, live the baby boy life, develop relevant skills then get a job over there or go for an MBA. 3/4 years from now i should have saved more than 2million for travel.
Also note i will be turning 26 towards the end of the year, so i think there`s still a bit of time on my end.
I need advice from you guys, is this a sensible idea putting into consideration things that could go wrong pre/post elections, the current standard of living in Lagos and the current and future exchange rates.
I have noticed the crazy rush to leave the country among we youths but i have also noticed that those that have good paying jobs in multinationals, fintechs, banks, govt etc are not bothered about leaving the country. Also noticed most of my friends who left were all earning less than 100k in salary.
Please tell me what y`all think??
Mods in case reactions are much, abeg push to Front page

StagethemTVee: Reverend Esther Ajayi has asked married people who wants to relocate abroad to be sure their marriage can survive the test of time abroad considering the societal values, pressure and culture.
She advised people to consider it well.and make sure they are certain of the move before they make it.
She also mentioned that people with N500,000 naira in their account are better than a lot of people abroad.

The University of Nigeria,Nsukka(UNN) management today released a new school fees structure that cuts across all levels Of the university. This came after a closed-door meeting of the school management and the SUG lead by comrade Abuchi Michael, of both campuses yesterday.
While this is a means to catch up with the current economic downturn of the country, the students have expressed their distaste and refusal to be intimidated and coersed into daylight robbery and extortion.
The student Union government of UNN has scheduled tomorrow 2nd Dec 2022 for a protest.
They either pay or drop out and allow serious students pay and study....useless students that will still vote in bad leaders. Pay or sit at home or getat
wentroublecomes: I have been thinking about going to those above mentioned country to start a new life. I don't have passport yet so I know nothing about travelling. I just want to start planning and working towards it I have HND certificate. Not necessarily I use my certificate. I heard studying abroad is very expensive. I think I'll study over there when I've work and earn enough in there country. I need advices please, and also how much minimum that'll take me abroad. Thanks
You're not serious....advising you will be a waste of time. You don't have money you wanna go to usa uk or Canada....with only hnd....smh you think if its cheap to travel out Nigeria for never empty?
zed7: You're a slave already with your mentality. What you don't realise is that a goat will not become a lion when taken overseas.
Ode is anything free in Nigeria is Mt question? If nothing is free in Nigeria why expect free things abroad? Since your generation is so lazy, you know u can survive hardwork aboard where you can't be begging animal
zed7: I always tell people that japa is not for the poor. It's the middle class that can actually afford to relocate. Right now it's all about herd mentality. Many are like a bull going to the slaughter house. No concrete plan.
I actually wish them goodluck. They will sweat and grind for every penny. Nothing is given freely.
Whilst I know the country failed them, I also know that this is second slavery. The West don't need guns and mirrors anymore, they just need to dangle visas and tweak their policies a little and our best hands will run and go slaving for them, whilst their citizens idle away and enjoy the fruit of our peoples hardwork. Just like the days of old.
The West got this advanced with the sweat of Africans and other less developed nations. They're still doing same till date. It's pathetic.
Fool is anything given free in Nigeria before? Oponu
Yankiss: Adeleke needs good advisers. He is going to reverse the change of name too. He didn't reckon with the legal encumbrances. The reversals are signs of either a listening governor or a careless one on the flip side.
Idiot you that have never been a class captain giving advice to a governor....how daft
Check ircc website depending on your location in the uk
My husband used visa medical in London for £330 In fact it pained me because he was the only one that didn’t do his medical in Nigeria while we were leaving

U need to change country of residence to avoid misrepresentation (that’s if u are now living in the uk)
Hi guys....how are we all doing? I got the following questions... 1) how do I get Nigeria police report from the uk? I've only spend 3 months in the uk so far so I'll be needing Nigeria police report for my ita.
2) how do I go about getting immigration medical certificate in the uk for Canada travel?
3) do I need to change my country of residence on my express entry profile??
In every war, truth is the first casualty. Don’t rush to take sides in any story you read on the social media.
There are a lot of animals in Nigeria. I have had my own share with these uncultured & indisciplined stupid children myself.
The day I vowed to stop doing Uber/Bolt was when I carried a stupid young lady at Victoria Arobieke Street in Lekki.
She came down from her apartment with her black waste-bin nylon bag and sat at the front with me.
She got to her destination (a street off Freedom Way) some few minutes later, paid me, alighted and left the waste-bin bag in my car. She said: kindly help me discard it - not minding that I’m old enough to be her father.
I couldn’t talk. You know why?
Because she would have rated me one star and in no time, my account would be suspended by the ride-sharing app.
What pained me most was that this girl cannot be more than 23years old.
Was I putting on a uniform that gave her the the impression that I was a waste-bin disposal officer? Ehnnn?
This is why sometimes, I secretly wish multiple volleys of strategic nuclear missiles can be fired on every State & Capitals of this useless Country.
There’s no single day you go out in this Country and not encounter stupid people behaving like mad cows.
This is just one of the many bad experiences I had with these unruly, uncultured & badly-brought up stupid children in the course of my driving to making money.
Nigerians are callous predators who will always take advantage of you as long as they’re paying you for any service because in their warped minds, they’re doing you an uncommon favour.
They will use that money to put a leash on your neck and manipulate you into doing their ugly bids.
You no fit slap her jaw....se you dey whine me ni, why you go allow person entr your motor with trash bag....you're just a weak man nothing more
PerfectJUSTICE: I wanted to let this slide but it is too much and being the emotional person i am, i catch myself thinking about it and shedding a tear hear and there. Everyone is going through alot and deserves kindness . Some days back at about 12am I had a crisis, I tried to ignore the pains but I couldn't so I packed my things and got prepared for the hospital. I had to wake my parents up to let them know I was leaving for the hospital and then I booked a ride with Bolt since my Dad is not allowed to drive at night. Almost immediately the driver called, one could tell from my voice that I was struggling to breathe since the pain was concentrated on my chest and so I went ahead to plead with him ( the driver) that I was in pain and would not be able to walk as fast as I should and so he should bear with me if he has to wait for a an extra minute or two, i also concluded that In as much as i will be paying double considering the time i will pay any other extra charges for time wasted.
My Dad hurriedly grabbed my things so we could meet up with the ride but try as hard as possible I couldn't walk fast and so my Dad ran ahead of me. The driver's call came through with him yelling at me while I pleaded and told him my Dad was really close, he hissed and ended the call. Finally I caught up with my Dad only to be told he drove off just as my Dad got there, I felt bad and just sat down on the ground contemplating what I was going to do next. I went ahead to try if I could get another ride but the same driver kept popping up and because I knew there was no way he was going to come back considering he drove off in anger I kept cancelling the ride just for me to receive a message from him saying ' you must be very stupid and uncivilised ' ah! The tempo of my cry increased and my Dad just thought the pain was getting too much Luckily I got another driver who was very understanding and ready to fight the security men at the gate to the clinic who said I was pretending to be in pain
I have had not so good encounters with drivers but none has hurt me this deeply, so I am putting it out here and I hope someone who knows him sees this and call him to order, you don't treat people like shit not knowing what they are going through.
You're stupid for posting the driver profile in your story....you called a driver at 12am and den wasted his time....you're very stupid actually
DMerciful: Lately, there has been an increasing number of threads dedicated to lamentations by guys with regards to their relationships with ladies whom they are dating, friending, marrying etc.
This trend is becoming worrying because it is clear we are having an increasing number of effeminate men! Men are supposed to be tough, they are meant to suck up tough situations and move on, they ought to know when to call it quit and stop taking nonsense however they come here to ask silly questions of what to do when in unhealthy relationships.
Where are these sissy men coming from? Inspite of all the miseducations by Ubunja and co!
It's 2 things involved; 1) the story are faked and posted by females using make profile to make it seem its okay for a guy to be soft and foolish.
2) the stories are from guys raised by single mom's with no father figure.
Greattestman: I've noticed the drastic change in my mother's behaviour towards me such as compelling me to rent my own house, shouting at me for any little mistake, not helping me financially and even badmothing me to neighbours.
I took the case to my uncle (her elder brother), he said for not helping me with money, the reason is that my mother is saving money for her upcoming traditional wedding. I was surprised.
When I came back home and asked her, she unleashed anger on me and almost curse me to death. The worst part of it is giving me ultimatum to vacate my own father's house. Who the hell does that? I can't take that!!!
Take their means of breathing....make it look like an accident. God won't be angry.
TMSMedia: Nigerian pastor and relationship coach, Kingsley Okonkwo, has stated that women were not created to take care of themselves, IGBERETV reports.
Fire them and get sued at the Industrial Court of Nigeria
Fat uneducated dancing shiithead
You want to fire educated, qualified career Civil Servants with over 30 years work experience that never violated any civil service regulations over stupid Politics

LivelyMandem: Guys in the house, what is your experience like dating single mothers.
I recently met a beautiful young lady who has never been married but has a daughter with a guy who isn't taking up much of the responsibility.
I have a good job and can obviously take care of the basics. The issue started from when I started giving her some money randomly not for any particular purpose. She called me recently and said her daughter's school fee is due and how much am I bringing.
In my head, she is not my child so why do you want to push the responsibility on me so fast. If I ask about the dad, she'll say I shouldn't worry because he's irresponsible.
We're not intimate yet because she said no sex before marriage, na that one we still dey fight about.
My question is, is it ok for her to ask me for her child fees just because we're dating or am I supposed to automatically take up the girls upkeep because I'm dating her mother?
Pay up mugu....show you're responsible. Make irresponsible man dey knack, make you wey responsible dey pay for the result of the knocking
Prometheus666: You are right about medieval times, but these are not medieval times. So many things are wrong about that Generation. Slave Trade, Needless wars. Killing off entire villages and taking women and daughters as spoils of war. I do not think I should reason like men of that generation.
Dangote, Alakijas and Awolowos are not my mentors in any way or form. Those are politically exposed capitalist who are not different from the medieval people.
I rather help human beings in need now that I have the opportunity of Life in this simulation, so I can rest the body easily and peacefully when time comes to exit the Game.
Zonefree: A guy committed suicide yesterday at Oko Poly cos of a failed relationship with a Nigerian girl and now another was stabbed by a Nigerian girl. Nigerian men are becoming endangered species in the hands of these demons.
May God protect us and give us the zeal and strength to overcome this gender!
I actually wish for more of these simps and weak men to be eradicated from the face of the earth any means possible. They worship women and fear them, hence the confidence of the women. A woman go get mind carry knife stab me....who born him papa? Na too much play abi na wetin àll weak men should be kills off by the women please
