Dont mind them. They cry as if they're the only ones who feel pain and discomfort. We have raised a generation of entitled women. Just yesterday, I heard they gt free nomination froms to contest in elections (i dont know how true o, but i wouldnt but surprised if it were so). There is a natural balance in life men get some privileges women get others. The problem problem problem women are being greedy and want what men get without sharing theirs grin That's slavery 101. All these mumu boys forming civilised na them I pity, by the time e clear for their eye e go dey too late.

The easiest test of the relevance of this bill is to compare yourself with any female contemporary of yours and see if you have any official advantage over because you're male.
Advantage over a woman because you're a man ke. Mostly its disadvantages men have over women. I really don't know what these Nigerian women are after sha. Coupled with the oversabi civilized young men who still think they have any edge over any Nigerian lady. It's funny because the labour market doesn't corroborate this agitation. Apart from menial jobs, women almost outnumber men in most parastatals. Take a sample of vehicles on Lagos roads, apart from the commercial buses, women drive more exotic cars than men. How do they come by it, gender equality? Abegi... undecided

All these semi-literate thespians and their appeal to emotion will not change the reality of things. I challenge anybody to provide proof that the contents of this "new bill" isnt already contained in the Nigerian constitution. What exactly are Nigeri woman being deprived of, nobody has been able to state.

You people need to shut up and think before you talk.
That's my line of thought actually. Is there any anti Woman laws in Nigeria?

ojuolu:
The bill is question goes beyond these things mentioned above. The truth is Religion and culture are good but the world is evolving. You can imagine cultural practices borne out of limited information, technology and economic resources realities still thriving in the 21st centuries or wrong selfish interpretation of the holy books by religion bigots to satisfy their personal egotistic tendencies still being observed in ignorance or in other bid to maintain the status.
Let me paint a scenario. A man marries a woman, the woman ideally (as it is now) the man general manager, chief Accountant, Minister for Home affairs, Publicity director, Welfare officer, cook, laundry man, baby factory, sex mate, child care giver etc. While performing all these role as spelt out by culture and religion, the man is free to earn salary and invest in property in his name but the woman cannot in most cases because she does not have the economic power to do so. The man passes on, the property left behind become a source of tussle between the woman and the man family simply because she is a woman. And you get hear statement like"our son/brother/uncle/ laboured for those things" without a recourse to the co-creator of such wealth- the wife. The woman and her children suddenly become homeless, beggars and no live at the mercy of the man's relatives. Woe betide the woman if her children, their children, happen to be female all through. Please i am not saying these traditional roles should be neglected or abandoned by women, no. They have better capacity to do much more. Let the society recognizes this capacity and allow an average woman to choose her path given the same opportunities that is available to the male counterpart
How many women have economic power and rights compare to their male counterpart? I have seen cases where a man did not allow his woman to work, or do anything meaningful because she is a woman, even when she is more trained and more qualified than the husband.
Society will thrive and develop when it ensure gender equality and balance in the economic power and opportunities that are available to both sexes.
Dudes talking about world evolving and all that cock & bull story. Are these same women not the ones overly bothered that they are not married yet at settings age? Or have the so called evolutionary trend made women to marry men or change their sexual orientation? Nature has made it this way, except we don't have issues with the likes of Catelyn Jenna. Now culture with respect to inheritance. What does the constitution say about that and will? Most cultures recognises the offspring of the couple as heir apparent, not even the brothers or something. Now when a certain dubious family connived to perpetuate evil does not make it a norm. A man's property should be for the children, not even the wife as the man together with the wife works for the children's welfare. So unless the children are still minors, any wife fighting for inheritance is not even a good mother. The children know that they are supposed to take care of their mother.
Yes some gruesome acts by culture still abounds, so also so stupid western culture where a woman sends her husband out of his own home abound. And who said their culture is better than ours with their absolutely lax morals?
Celebrities › Re: Uche Jombo Reacts To Senators Vote Against Gender Equality Bill (Snapshots) by Ifebazz(m): 12:38pm On Mar 16, 2016
She said there are 8 female members of the Senate, my question is, was any woman impeded from running or contesting? If yes, maybe she has a say, if not she should sit her fat ass down. Women get pampered every where. At home, work, Church mosque, school, just name it. What is this extraordinary privilege they seek? Do women want to start marrying men, pay groom price, become bread winners, join more in the military, deep sea diving, do menial jobs, security posts, Rivers State politics, or taxi drivers?
I have nothing against women running affairs any where, but it should be based on merit and not because you have breasts on your chest. Most applicants can testify that men stand less chance of getting a job against ladies in corporate firms and banking sector especially.
Nigeria lawyers are about 70% women, have the men complained? I visited the probate court at Asaba Delta state, guess what? The workforce there is likely 90% women and about 30% of the 90% of the women were pregnant! So much for efficiency.
No misgivings there, but this gender equality thing is same as ethics and religious bias. A woman should be worth her salt to run affairs if not, she should remain a woman. There so many men without jobs out there all because ladies who 'know' how to get their way around are loitering as square pegs in round holes.
Many incompetent, lazy, and inefficient women flood the government parastatals. Not saying there are no smart women, efficient and all that, but NOBODY is impeding women from basic human rights. It can only be by choice.

Romance › Re: 10 Things Guys Say When Caught Cheating by Ifebazz(m): 6:41am On Mar 15, 2016
aNAIJAFAN:
Girls, someone aptly said, “Men will be men”. They are the one who will pamper you, cajole you and almost pester you to get into a relationship with them. And just when you start falling in love and appreciating your man, you catch him cheating on you. What I do not understand is if you were cheating all the while, what was the need for the relationship? Or even the other way round. If you were so bent on being in a relationship, then why did you have to cheat? Men say girls are complicated. I would say they themselves are complicated. Girls are too, to a certain extent. But they do not complicate relationships. Girls do take time to say yes to a guy, but seldom we see a girl cheating.

Guys, on the other hand, are basically confused about everything. They will take months to impress their ladies, and once the girl is actually impressed, guys find the “spark” gone. Really? Can something be that lame? Wait girls. The height of lameness is yet to arrive. The best(!) part is when they get caught cheating red handed. They jumble with words. Well even women do, but at the end of it they either come up with something smart and straight forward or use their biggest weapon, tears! But men, I tell you, they will find weirdest of excuses and when those are placed in front of you, even you will get confused whether to plant a tight slap on the guy or laugh or cry. Amazing creatures they are! Let’s see how stupid can the physically stronger sex get.

[/b]10. “I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHO
SHE IS”[/b]

Okay, so you go around with this girl and get caught in some “wrong” position, and all you could come up with is that you don’t know the girl with whom you are cheating on your girlfriend or wife? What were you doing inside the theater or in her room then? Trying to know her? See, after you get caught, it is most unlikely that your girl will sort out things with you. So better tell the truth. Or at least think of a decent excuse, a more believable one!

9. “I WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP HER…..”
What are you, Father Teresa? Okay, it is good to help others. But in their bedroom?! But girls, make sure when you argue after this line is thrown at you by your ‘cheating’ boyfriend. Any thing you say can be used against you and you will end up getting a lecture from your guy on how pathetic you are that you think helping others is a crime. So frame your questions after putting in some thought. Ask him what category of ‘help’ was that? Eventually you will break up and get separated, but make sure you give your guy a hard time trying to explain his own excuse. Slap him if you want to. (It sounds somehow shey? cheesy )

8. “I WAS JUST ASKING FOR HER SUGGESTION TO BUY YOU A GIFT”

Don’t fall in the trap, girls. You might get all angry and fumed up, when just the mere idea of a gift will melt you down, and will go all “Awwww….” to your guy. But no! think with your rational mind. If your guy really wanted some gift suggestion, why would he call up another girl? Doesn’t he know you well enough to know what will be the perfect buy for you? Or even if he doesn’t, he can just give a call and ask for gift suggestion from his so called friend. Why need to go for a movie or to some parks? Think girls, think.

7. “YOU DON’T GIVE ME TIME”
This is a smart move. It is human tendency to put the blame on others when a person knows he is wrong. Guys are no different. They will try to push the blame on you, saying that you do not give time to the relationship, or how busy you are with your work or studies etc etc. Do not buy it. Work, studies or whatever it is, comes first any day. If you are working to have a safe and secure future, or if you are getting educated, there is absolutely nothing wrong in that. OR even if you are giving more time to your friends and family, it is fine. You should. But does
that mean your guy will go around with other girls? No way! If he says this when he is caught, just say that you are glad you did not give him much time. Else all that time would have gone waste and you would have regretted that all your life. Say this. It is a hard blow to a man’s ego.

6. “I DON’T OWE YOU ANY EXPLANATION”

When the ‘criminal’ mind cannot think of any better excuses, it comes up with the harsh truth. But guys, you do owe an explanation to the girl who is heart broken because of you. Just the day before, you
claimed that her heart was yours and all those mushy mushy talks. And within a day you don’t owe her an explanation? This line is generally said when the guy was not so much into the relationship thing and is smart enough to know that this is the end of what you people shared. So My sister, just walk out after throwing up your anger. Don’t even try to sort things out, because the guy is clearly no longer interested in making things work.

5. “SHE WAS TRYING TO SEDUCE ME…”
If she was trying to seduce you guy, then why was your guy on top of her? Or why did he just simply
not walk away from there? Or is your guy such a freak that he cannot control himself and gets excited by the mere presence of a girl? Girls, if your guy uses this as an excuse, do not forget to backfire at them. Ask him why would he get seduced at all if he was so
much in love with you? Leave him then and there to keep getting seduced by anybody.

4. “…BUT SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND’S GIRLFRIEND.”

So what are you doing with her huh? Giving proxy in
your best friend’s absence? Girls, this is absolute
nonsense. Guys have a bro-code, like we girls have
our BFF (Best Friends Forever) code. And it is the
rarest of rare situation when a guy will break that
code. It is like an unsaid rule that a guy just CANNOT date his bestie’s girl. Do not believe when your guy
says that. It is just some random girl that he has
picked up and now trying to hide his mistake. You
know it is time to break up.

3. “GIVE ME ONE LAST CHANCE,
PLEASE”

Okay, so this might make you think twice, or even
more. When a guy says words like ‘please’ and
‘sorry’, it is likely that they really mean it. A guy
asking for a last chance or another chance is a rare
situation, but when he does that, it clearly means he
wants you. He wants the relationship to work out. He definitely has made a mistake. But what can be
better than your husband or boyfriend agreeing and
accepting his fault and wanting to change it. I
personally think this particular man should be given a
chance. But here too there is a trick. Do not give in
immediately. You know your man well so you will know that he is genuinely sorry by looking into his
eyes. But let him repent and suffer a little for what he
did. Don’t talk for a few days and ignore him.
Ultimately, forgive him, if you want to.

2. “I WAS LEARNING SOME NEW
MOVES TO PLEASE YOU”

You feel confused as what to say next. You feel like
laughing at the stupidity of your own choice.
Seriously guys? This is the second best thing you can
say or use as an excuse, the first one being point 1.
Guys, are you so dumb that you think your girl will
buy it? If she can catch you cheating on her, then she is smart enough not to believe these stupid excuses.
Please think of a better excuse next time. Because
this will only lead to your downfall and you might end
up getting slapped, if not because of cheating on her,
then at least for this excuse.

1. “SHE IS LIKE MY SISTER”

This is a funny excuse for sure. By now the girl knows
that her boyfriend deserves a high five in his face.
Sister? Really? Can someone get so mean? Who gets
on the couch or bed with someone ‘like sister’?
Guys, this is a dangerous stunt. You are most likely to
be abused with the worst category of expletives. Yet, it is unfortunate that guys mostly use this excuse to
run away from the situation after getting caught.
very lame points.

She said she Has an 8year Old daughter already which made her drop out of school to take care of the child. The father of the child didn't take responsibility. She and her parents have been taking care of the child who's now 8yrs Old.

MY QUESTION: What would you do if you were in My shoes. Marry a single mom or Let her be.
At least respect her for having the courage to tell you before it was too late. Many desperate girls will wait till you marry them and bring the child into your home as her aunts child. If she is a good person, go ahead son. It's no biggie, lots of guys sire children with other women before they get married.

Good morning everyone. If you have been reading my previous posts then you will know very well how my story has been. After getting a job and trying to ignore My husband'S cheating and other cruel characters towards me, he cheats with a female church member and promises her that he will marry her as a second wife.

After much talking which could not bring any positive results, I decided to let them be And mind my own business. He still enters my room when he feels like doing it with me. Now it happens that am 2Months pregnant after 5 kids. I told him about it he was happy at that given time. I then thought that maybe he will change this time to become a better father.

On Sunday while the morning prayer was going on, I couldn't stand up because I have started showing signs of pregnancy. I was feeling very anemic so I decided to sit down. My husband came out and stopped the prayer and started saying that I sat down because I wanted to show his mistress that am pregnant and that am doing drama for her mistress, something that I have never thought of doing. He started calling me all sorts of names all to calm the mistress down incase she notices that am pregnant. All to show the mistress that he is not happy with me being pregnant. All to make me feel bad and not happy of my condition.

While the congregation and the mistress were watching and laughing. When I couldn't take it anymore, I decided to walkout of the church. one of his workers ran after me and forcefully drew me back which left a mark on my neck. His claim is that I shouldn't move out while his pastor is talking. I pushed him out of my way, he slapped me inside church while my hubby watch. with the little strength in me I fight back and leave the church premises. I was so hurt that I want to revenge on my husband and his worker. how will I be proud of this pregnant now that he has said in his congregation that all am doing is noting but a show how painful. how do I pay him back.I really wish the worst on them now.God help me that I didn't do something unlawful to them.
