There is this phishing site that has caught my browser. xl4m or something. When I am on some websites once I click it redirects me to another advertising site opening a new tab as it does it. Please how do I get rid of this? It is really bothersome right now. Thanks.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How To Cope When Facing Unemployment by Ifebazz(m): 6:56am On Mar 25, 2016
I like your piece, nice and inspirational. The only problem I have with it is your use of the word 'am'. Where in God's name did you guys learn this from? It breaks my heart that after all, English teachers failed.
See, the word pronounced 'I'm' is not the same as 'am' oooh. That 'I'm' that people speak is just a short form of 'I am ' (person state of being kinda) which can be likened to 'John is' in a sentence whereas you guys just leave the 'I' and use only the 'am' which is very grievous error in written English. Spoken, the difference can hardly show as 'I'm' and 'am' sound alike but they are not.
But then it goes a long way to tell how much the difference is between what we say because people say it and what we actually know! Adios.

How many times have the Muslims told you to abandon Christianity because Islam is the only way?
Many people here talk as if they forgot their brains in the bus. What better ways do you preach than with your actions? Or maybe because he's not calling down fire to consume them before you can either preach or pray.
This holier than thou attitudes of pentirascals portrays Christians in very bad light.

Many from private schools can't write properly. They resort to using abbreviations and acronyms and pseudonyms to hide their short coming. I went to a public school. I am proud of public schools. Parents should play their own part in a child's education.
Don't tell me children from private schools do better than those from public schools. Very false. Wait till you reach NYSC where breeze blows... The only thing that those from private school do better than their public counterparts is probably speaking better and more often than not, it's the exposition gotten from travelling.
I can not, will not agree that the subject in question is only deficient in English.

And what type of lecturers will never mark him down? Probably your kind of school (which can't be far off from the one he graduated from). As a science major, if my student cannot effectively tell me in simple grammar how x plus x turned to 2x, he should effectively tell me how he passed his O'Levels first then UME & post UME.
The standard of WAEC is such that if you pass English language (of course by yourself and not miracle centre) you can write at any level in life with out being aided and devoid of some simple mistakes in tenses etc. So where is your defence coming from Mr Man?

the french and spanish certified engineers in my company who has the laurels of ivy schools under their cap and yet cannot flawlessly communicate in english, are illliterates i guess. by your own standard and reasoning. I just dont know why this part of the world see the ability to speak english as a yardstick to measure once's intellectual exposure and capability. Yet, in your i-too-sabi-speak english attitude, your own indigenuous dialect is rolling to oblivion and extinction. Yet in your over-sabi mode, little kids in the western world who can barely communicate in the so called english parlance are breaking through in technology and science. They grace the highest honorable podium with their INTERPRETER to receive prestigious global awards, but you are here bragging how good you are in speaking one foreign language that is not urs. Just one! many people speak up to 5 different languages, is it because the briton imposed his on you by telling you how trashy urs is? travel to USA, and see whites studying ur language. ur very own language which u are ashamed off. Please being a graduate does not translate to not being culpable of verbal incongruity in your communication with english...
What did you call them? French and Spanish right? Why didn't you call them English Engineers? Because they are what you just called them, FRENCH and SPANISH! They studied in those languages and I can bet you communicate fluently in them too. Can you communicate in French or Spanish half as much as they're doing in English?
Nigeria universities are dolling out half baked graduates by the minutes yet we don't see any thing wrong about it because those we have come to take as our role models are nothing to write home about in education. Read comments here and see all the grammar on twitter from celebrities you keep wondering why parents still waste money on educating some people.
Many resort to abbreviations because they cannot spell, acronyms for same reason. They just write rubbish especially on Nairaland and Twitter as if they are charged for the full spelling or something. Pathetic that you can even come to their defence. Just pathetic.

Social media platforms have in some way or another brought joy and fulfillment into the lives of people from all spheres of life.

Gone are those days when social media relationships are considered a taboo due to different negativity tagged with the single idea of dating a guy you meet online. Hair Entrepreneur, Omoh is one of those lucky women who found love on social media.

Read her lovely story below:

I hadn’t been on twitter very long but I found the freedom of expression exhilarating. One evening in September 2012, he sent me a DM that started with “Hi I’m Frank ” of course I didn’t reply him for days. He was cute though. When i eventually replied, he said the right thing…” I really like you, I understand you don’t know me yet but I feel like I need to talk to you everyday of my life and If that’s all this becomes, then it’s enough for me “. It was a little cheesy, but he was serious. He messaged me everyday, on every social media platform he could find me. He found new ways we could contact each other. Then he progressed to calling everyday. I must confess that now, i can’t go a day without talking to my Olomi. #StartedFromTheDm #NowWeAreHere #FrankOmoh2016 See Pictures of their prewedding shots below.

In as much as I don't like students being beaten, I will not condone insolence or attitudes from ill brought up children by irresponsible parents. Many parents raise (don't even raise) wayward kids who they can't control, then pub same to schools and expect miracles to happen. The first culprits are the parents who give the kids all the wrong upbringing and expect the society to tolerate them. Almost impossible. For a kid of that age to know she can retaliate against her seniors tells a whole lot about the parent who have already failed in their responsibilities now trying to justify themselves by crying foul.

this Gender equality bill, is it wen it is passed dat rape will stop or mortality rate will reduce?.

Gender equality depends on hw women see themselves b4 men.

It is only a woman with LOW SELF ESTEEM dat sees men as superior being dan them and at times we see men wit LOW SELF ESTEEM.

What is dis gender equality bill they are fighting for?, because in the labour force their are women wit better jobs dan men.
Very many women with better jobs that they don't even need but get all the same because they're opportuned to be married to an influencial man. Women don't fight against these kinda injustice.

You realize you live in country where it is legal to marry a 13 year old, right? A country where the divorce laws favors men more. I can go on and on.....
Okay you want the whiteman style of a wife throwing the husband out of his house? For the early marriage, is it not perculiar to a set of bigotted people? More than one wife, were they coerced that is my question?
If a lady doesn't feel comfortable being a second wife, I'm yet to see a Nigeria law that forces her to be. Instead, its the women who willingly plunge into such unions. I know of a lady that is seeking a rich man to marry her even at the cost of being a second or third wife. Is anybody forcing her to do it, no?
What we don't realise in this country is that, we have fantastic laws, it's in the implementations we have challenges. Even if they succeed in their myopic pursuit, who will implement it? The
Nigeria woman is not refined enough to want to revert sexual roles. When they go about looking for a man to bear theirs and their family burdens instead of developing themselves.

Let any woman who have been denied her dreams and rights because she's a woman stand up.
I can post thousands of Job placement advert that specifically request for ladies. I am yet to see one that says 'strictly for men', even the military recruitment.
Nigeria women are just bunch of confused lot.
Even the traditions does not force women to do things extraordinary, you can always opt out.

for all those criticizing the proposed bill, have you all bothered to read it?why are you so afraid of making a widow take sole custody of her children? or is it the equitable sharing of her husbands estate that is scaring you men? don't you all know your sisters, daughters, mother's can benefit from this bill? as a man who has slaved all his life to provide for his home wouldn't you want your properties to go to your wife and kids in the case of your untimely demise?

read the proposed bill! it addresses ills women have suffered in the society! abi is it the word ''equality'' there scaring all of you? educate yourselves!!
You definitely need the education more. Tell where in Nigeria constitution that deprives wives of husbands' estate. Moreover, is a man's estate not supposed to be for their children? Or do you, Nigeria women have the intentions of killing your husbands on time in order to delve into their estates? It's really appalling to read lame arguments of the women who seek equal rights (as if it was denied ab initio).

Mrs woman leader, has there being a particular anti woman law that hindered you from carrying out your political looting or has any particular law in Nigeria prohibited women from holding any particular post?
