repogirl: 'Free fall in the past five years?' I hate all this propaganda bullshit targeted at a government that is really trying its best despite serious and deliberate opposition from jealous id!ots hiding behind a nonsensical cause!

Madiba was right in his assertions but then it should not be misconstrued and used to target this present government! Nigeria's free falling began a long time ago, like madiba said, from our DICTATORS and their DICTATING ERA...... Not just five years ago!
how many years do we need to get our institutions to work??how many institutions have your pay master gej strengthen in the last 4years in office??tell your oga to work now that power in his hands, even develope his own región.have you been to niger delta lately?

Goldenboy007: Woooooooooow ! You spoke my mind word for word ! I respect some minds on Nairaland. I wonder why most Nigerians keep thinking all those Nigerians in US are better off than them.
There are Nigerians here that are worse than the least unemployed graduate at home. Majority of them don't even Have legal documents to work so they are bloody hustlers even those that have papers are barely getting the job. I live in US and work with a bank as an accountant, in Nigeria I worked with a telecommunication company. My people the difference is not much walahi !!! Yes you get good amenities here but you pay through your nose to get it. I am still in US because I have a better offer here, if I get a better prospect at home, bet it I won't need someone to tell me how Nigeria is !!! So young man don't come here and start feeling like a king, if US no pay you, don't deceive yourself find ticket money and go back home !
somebody is thinking
thesame to all of you out there in europe

iphy42: Hit your head on the wall. As if your people can pay the exorbitant rates of houses in Lagos. Thank God for the Igbo man who pay whatever and come to his senses later. Igbos spoilt rentage in Lagos. Go to Okota, satellite town, Alaba international and others and see for yourself.
that is what we call in economics supply and demand, not the igbos as you insinuated.
PropertiesRe: Can Your Landlord Eject You By Force? (part One) by ifebosco: 10:16pm On Dec 09, 2013
iphy42: Those who own houses won't support this judgement but tenant will support it.
It's a two way thing. Some landlords are greedy and want to get back the money they spent on building the house in 2 or 3 years time. Imagine a 30 year old house renting a 2 bedroom flat for 400,000 naira yearly. Did he use up to quarter of that amount to build the house.

I believe a landlord should be considerate as the considerate ones RARELY have problems with their tenants
instead of you to call on your goverment to liberalise building matirials, so that contruction will be cheap in the country,or even build social housing to bring down the prices of houses in nigeria, gullible people with lazy mentality ,can´t you use that you energy to call your goverment in order??than attacking people who suffered to build private houses

I hate hypocrisy with disgust! This prof sits his dumb asss in Canada and have the guts to talk?

Mehn shut up professor!! Let's see what brand of Christianity is being practiced in East West and South of the country that is not practiced in USA, Sweden, Norway, Venezuela etc..

Fuckiing paid hack talking like he is an intellectual. Granted that Sanusi is just a too fanatical to embrace modernity which may topple his chances of emir or whatever, Sanusi has contributed to Nigeria more than this loud mouthed fake intellectual prof. Who da fuk is he?

A prof in English? lmao!!!! Negro please!! The problem is nation wide and the iddiotic prof is suppose to ask what brand of Xtianity and Islam re Nigerians practicing that is not practiced elsewhere in the world. He didnt mention Yoruba Muslim states and others.

If he is so smart, why are his ideologies not reflected in Nigerian society? Oh yeah bittchh nigga took the easy way out and became a Canadian instead of fighting for change in Nigeria.

all4naija: Bwahaha... You should listen to posters who are supporting the argument that civilization started from Africa and as such has the saying in that regard. I would be interested to know about this civilization that hasn't been of good use to the people of the continent. You should tell your leaders to organize themselves and use the resources for the good of the continent than pointing accusing fingers to those who are only helping to make use of opportunities in whatsoever way termed to make better use of them than allowing them to lie non-utilized by the primitive Africans.

I am so much concerned about South Africa that cannot even make head of their resources for the good of the continent than to brag to other Africans and take to xenophobic attacks. It is a big shame to the people of the continent though. Africans have no reason to complain about foul play when they cannot help themselves.
we have our own blames but oyibo has too
