cost of land is expensive because Nigerians are gullible people, cost of building a house in Nigeria is expensive because the raw materials are very costly, cement and rod for example are more expensive in Nigeria than most of the industrialized countries because of monopoly greed and wickedness |

realbomax: @op. i also studied engrg course but i think d point is engrg graduates are nt d worst hit but d stress engrg graduates undergoes right frm admisn process stage till graduatn stage in schl is nt adequately compensated for in a country lik nigeria. i now clearly see dt nigeria is nt ready for technological advancement and because of dt i cant advise my jnr ones to waste their time on in in naija at least for now because most pple who only get field engrg job here are very connected.most you look for job for chris sake?can´t you create something needed in our society and source for fianance??most we always look for job after graduation??now you are telling an engrg to live nigeria to start looking for greener pastures outside nigeria, with the present crisis in europe and america the most silly thing an engrg in nigeria should do is to live nigeria, becuase the stress in this side of the world is the worst.be creative and look for fianance, nigeria need you guys |

Sloan: How can someone to to another man's house to question him about his house and affairs? LWKMD! Bello is doing the job he is there to do and guess what? It is the stranger visitor who is complaining? Well until Hausas go to Iboland to question the way ibo leaders are running their land and affairs, ibos have no right to go and question another man's affairs in his own house. If they don't want to hire any ibos, is it that there is no job in your land that it is the one in Kank or Kaduna that you must do? Call them farmers, backwards, etc but it is clear they know what they want and even Sadaunna speaks better English than almost all of you even Balewa! Yes it is not by power of oration, but if they don't want you then, they don't want you - simple!we are all nigerians and the money being used is from the soo hated ibos |
He was the leader of a ethnic region, rightfully so, his first and second priority should be his people. I wonder why Ibos have such deep difficulty understanding political structures and heirarchy of society. This area of responsibility and sphere of influence was not strange to Sardauna, Awo or Akintola...each of them knew what a leader of a peoole is called to do, why is ibo unintelligent and illiterate about social order and heirarchy?

He was the leader of a ethnic region, rightfully so, his first and second priority should be his people. El Guapo: Coogar can be funny, Cambo what?hablas mi idioma??por tu nombre |
crackhaus: Just listen to yourself talk, this is the exact same attitude that Africans (especially Nigerians) are despised for. We think we are more important and useful than we actually are, we think every country we travel to should become a mini-Nigeria like it is our right. Prof. Wole Soyinka calls it the 'entitlement mentality', and it is something most young Nigerians feel within themselves.i feel you |
Naijamericana: Free healthcare? In America that one does not exist. Everyone must pay. And if you dont pay, abeg comot for my office!capitalist mentality, only for the rich |
areaboi: I've been a Nigerian student here for a year and the half now and i'm amongst the student who are not entitled to a PSW extension. I can tell you i regret coming to the UK to study, i swear down i feel like fucking my agent up. The issue is this, why would you pay 3 million for tuition fee when you're not going to benefit from the system after studying?. Whereas other students in Canada and US are given the opportunity. Moreover, you're placed on 20 hours per week, that's big time slavery as you'll find it hard to pay house rent and bills not to even talk of feeding and some other miscellaneous expenses. Infact, where's the jobnigerians after studies go back home and make good money, too much oportunities in nigeria. |
usmsam: I lived in the UK for a year recently. Honestly it was amazing and I would really recommend people to go to the UK but not for long term. After a while it gets old and boring, besides it is very cold. The standard of living is pretty high too. I cannot imagine an illegal immigrant living there. It was tough enough for me to live there legally talkless of when people dont have papers. I wont be surprised if they commit suicide.i hope you learn something that can help africans, not the type of dimeji bankole, |
pappilo: You are chatting rubbish. I am an immigrant (legal). I have had an ambulance come out to me about 4 times and had 2 children on the NHS. All completely free. I pay my taxes and I am entitled to it. My sister came over, had her children here and paid full price because she wasnt entitled to a free service. It costs money to run the NHS and if you havent contributed into it you have no righy to draw from it. Hold your leaders accountable. They all run here to treat minor ailments with your money, Tinunbu, PEJ, Sullivan Chime, Yar Adua, Suntai, Atiku to name a few.nobody is trying to compare nigeria to britain, just that there colonized some of this countries and steal their comon wealth years back, they should not be to hard on them today. |
dasparrow: @Postsmart guy who sees the future |
1. Then stop posting such arrogant and ignorant suggestions. What you are suggesting is to cage free-roaming organic non-genetically engineered, healthy cattle for your own selfish ends. 2.You think you are Charles Darwins son yes? Everything doesnt need to evolve. And if it does evolve, it must evolve positively. What you are suggesting is not evolution, but somplete destruction of a peoples way of life and culture. What we need is alternative solutions. 3. This situation is only a West African one. In Mali, Niger, etc., the Tuareg, Fula and Tocouler still continue the ancient Trans-SAhara migration routes. 4. This is the problem. Nigeria Govt. must curb population growth and provide family planning awareness. Just because you have a million kids. that is not the problem of the Fuulbe. To destroy the natural lives of a people is genocide of the highest degree. 5.The Migratory routes of the FUlani is important for a stable ecosystem.
what has population got to do with modern ways of cattle rearing??mali, niger should not be examples ,there are bad examples |
nigerian leaders and lack of ideas,is this very dificult to resolve?just 3month is enough to re educate the fulanis and their cattle rearer business, with all the arable lands in this country for criss sake, and with their lazy atitude in goverment you great hatred amoung us for no good reason.trabalist every were because of bad leadership |
anonimi: You miss the point ENTIRELY.on point |

. I stayed for 5 months before i could manage to get a CLEANING JOB!!. Yes its as bad as that, WHO N COME TO KNOW men!!. Even getting a good related to your field is far more problematic, with all your certifications and qualifications experience matters here a lot. I can categorically tell you most Nigerian students on PSW are doing menial jobs just a few are given the professional jobs. UK is not like Nigeria where you can go and meet one aunty Tola to borrow you 50 pounds not to talk of give, here there's nothing like relatives. Relatives only come to the picture if you're doing well. Too many tori, its a bad experience.
