Lagusta:King Jaja was from Nkwere, Imo State before he was sold to slave trade. Please goggle the history of Opobo to be well informed. |
Brethren, please I need your help. I've gone to hospital and have taken certain pills but could not get help. Each time I go to toilet to defecate, I will pass out faeces and blood at the same time. The hospital has said that it is an internal pile, but the drugs administered could not stop it. Again, I usually use my hand to send-in the anus after washing my bombom with water. Please I need a permanent cure to this so that I would be free. Thanks. |
Internet marriage, internet scam and so many ladies are still falling pre to it. I wonder what we do with our brains. |
Too bad if it is true. |
Where is the pics, it seems you are high |
Bros, I doubt you're from there. The correct spelling is ISUOCHI and not ISOCHI. And also to counter your claim, I live in Okigwe and have gone to Isuochi severally. I would tell you that there are lots of mud and thatched houses there. |
Fellow Nairalanders, please this is for Christians and for Christians alone. What is the duties of youths in the Church? |
This is an aptitude test. |
I'm happy for the goodness of the Lord upon your life. Those that put their trust in God shall not be put to shame. Goodness and mercy shall follow them. Miracle is real and will ever be REAL!!! |
gossip!!! |
Folks, the attack is so sudden and unwarranted! What has the poster said or done wrong? The Pope sees all those as are bad thus frowning at it. He never supported the acts. If you know any of the gays amongst his subordinates (Rev. Fathers, sisters, nuns, etc.) please do not hesitate to call or write him and then watch his actions. I'm not a Catholic but let the truth be the truth and even been evangelised to free the world from ignorance. God's Love. |
If women should keep silent in the Church but to ask from their husbands whatever confused teachings or so, the single ladies in the Church whom will they ask from of any conflicting matter? |
@ 2tait Mildred, the church gossip and self-appointed arbiter of the church's morals, kept sticking her nose in the other members' private lives. Church members were unappreciative of her activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence. All of you in the Church are gossips. You claimed that you're a new member yet you've known much about the members - those that gossip, those that listen to gossip, those that fear ordinary human being, etc. Parking your car in front of her house will do her no harm, except she has been doing that with other members of your church. To conclude it, you've nurtured so much evil in you, that's why you've such thought. BUT sorry, you've debased yourself before other members of the church. ALL the ladies be CAREFUL of 2tait. |
@ maddock Brother, I'm a Christian and a good one. You don't need to fight it out but sort it out. No matter what the argument is, the best defence is to say what you know as it is. You cannot fight it all, and you can never stop anybody from speaking against the churches, pastors, members and even the activities of the churches. This is a free forum for discuss and facts findings. Resorting to insults, curses and the likes shows that one wants to intimidate others to believe in him or is hiding from the real truth. No one knows the real life of another except God. Allow God to defend his servants and Himself. Jesus was arrested, Peter tried to stop the arrest by chopping off one of the soldiers ear, but Jesus put it to him clear that the fight was not his. Thank God this is online and not face to face discuss. Much fight would have ensued. Grace. |
@ Confetti You don't have a problem, only that you are a problem to your self. I don't know how you weigh love, because from your analysis on your hater, you said he is not your type. Please what is ur type of man and how do you truly measure your type of man - physical, spiritual, emotional, and financial. What is true love? If you want a born-again man, are you a born-again? If you want a handsome man, are you beautiful? If you want a well-to-do man, are you well-to-do or your family well-to-do? If you want a graduate, are you a graduate? Ponder on these questions and find out what makes you hate the guy. Also, try to find out why the one you said you love never loved you. Again, why searching for the Mr. Right instead of allowing the Mr. Right to find you. You're going against the biblical principle "Whoever findeth a If you're still young, WAIT. But if age is telling on you --- ![]() And if you don't or won't believe in someone's prayer/prophecy why ask them to pray and seek for you. |
@ Maddock, Maturity is not measured by the level of education you attended, though is one of the characteristics. Again your choice of words and length of insult on fellow contributors of NL has shown your low level of spiritual awareness. Probably due to the teachings or ignorance of the scriptures. Please be wise! ![]() |
Posted by: 2taitAnd how did this dealt with the gossip? |
Posted by: uchkochiThis request is not possible. Why? Because everything in this world is doubled - righteousness and sin, right and left, believers and non-believers, etc, etc. The ideal thing is for you to do away with every ungodly music/acts, evangelise to people (those that would want to) starting from your immediate family, friends, colleagues, etc. Again, most musics though sang by unbelievers, speaks good and truth of our lives, warning from evil against brothers, villages, neighbours, and even promotes peace and unity, e.g. Christie Essien Igbokwe (Album - Igbo Kweenu). |
Posted by: realpastorYou're being hypocritical here. The youths in your church, are there no males there? Remember, male youths are potential fathers. Like in some Ibo lands, where there is a male child in a meeting, gathering, etc. no matter how small, a woman is not supposed to break kolanut and it stands. For me, I don't see anything wrong in women preaching, whether on the pulpit or floor. What matters is the message. Most of these women are led by the Holy Spirit. Most of us fight what we are not supposed to fight. In all these past years women have been mounting the pulpit/floor preaching, have any of you seen or heard of any that the Holy Spirit has disgraced while doing the ministry work? If it is not of God, He would have fought for it or will still fight for it. Let us look for ways to make ways with God instead of castigating true labourers in the Vine Yard of God. Peace to you all. |
Falsehood will only breed falsehood. If you bear false witnesses against your neighbor, friend or brother. You only inflicted curse on your very self without knowing. This is beyond the concept and understanding of Self, Science, and Religion. This might be old to some people, but it was a broadcast in FM1 97.70 AM news 6th April, 2009. The news was about how to stop CE in South Africa because of the stage-managed miracles, fraud, etc. |
Fresh Facts Emerge on ‘Redeemed Jet’ By Chinedu Eze, 04.02.2009 The purchase of a private jet, a Gulfstream 4XP with registration number 707EA, might have been attributed to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, in error. Documents available to THISDAY yesterday showed that the aircraft was purchased by five members of the church and will be run as a charter service, but priority is to be given to Adeboye who will be given “free rides” to ease his movement within and outside the continent. THISDAY had erroneously quoted a price of $28 million but the aircraft papers showed that the aircraft, a 1996 model, was purchased at $10 million (N1.4 billion). The five members of the church, whose names are being withheld for confidential reasons, made a down payment of 30 per cent of the cost while a first generation bank gave a loan of $7 million for the balance. “The aircraft is the collateral,” a bank official conversant with the transaction told THISDAY. The aircraft is to run private charters, with proceeds to be used to offset the loan and pay for its maintenance as well as settle the personnel cost of running the aircraft. “The business plan is well laid out,” another source told THISDAY. “The Redeemed Church did not put down a kobo. It is not their aircraft. Pastor Adeboye does not have a kobo in it. It is unfortunate that the man is being savaged all over the media and on the internet for something he knows nothing about. Unfortunately, he is not the type to come out and be defending himself or issuing media statements.” The source told THISDAY that some members of the church had expressed concern about the cumbersome flight schedules the pastor of one of Nigeria’s biggest churches has had to cope with. “If he wants to go to Banjul, in Gambia, it is a tortuous journey, flying from one connecting point to the other,” the source explained. “This obviously influenced the decision of some entrepreneurs in the church to have this sort of arrangement in which Pastor Adeboye will enjoy free rides and can readily organise his journeys. But the aircraft will pay for itself eventually. It neither belong to Redeemed Church nor Adeboye.” The aircraft arrived Lagos from Bahamas on Sunday, March 8, 2009. It is a transatlantic aircraft that has the capacity of about 15 passengers – depending on the customisation. Adeboye had come under criticism in the media and on internet discussion rooms for allegedly being “insensitive” at these economic crunch times and for allegedly abandoning his simple lifestyle for the flamboyance of jet-age pastors. The General Overseer of Living Faith Worldwide, a.k.a. Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has a Challenger aircraft, with number D6640. |
@Pepeye(f) It’s so easy to ignore an empty vessel. .You're a disgrace to Christianity. Using the name of Christ in vain!! What sort of teachings do you receive, how do you understand and apply them? |
@Kunle Why are you against everything done in the churches and even all the ministers mode of worship and life styles? If this is the way God takes things, HEAVEN is far from everybody, even you. The clothe you append flamboyant might be rag to another, while some you look as rag might be the very best for another. @Poster You only go to the Church to see what people are doing - who closes eyes or not during prayers, who wears what and what, not minding the actual thing done in the church (worship God Almighty). If I may ask, how did you read the woman's mind? You are a Gossipy! |
Good that the pregnancy was aborted, if not, both the unborn babies and the 9-year old girl would have died, because she could not have been able to survive the heaviness of the pregnancy and if God helps would not be able to deliver the babies normally. |
Folks, The idea of buying private jet should not be encouraged in Christianity. As this has started, it will be the style and trend of the big church pastors now - "challenges". THERE IS NO NEED FOR IT! It will never profit the church, rather it will run the finances of the church to not. There are brethrens in the church that needs help. I mean real help - there are school fees to pay, house rents to pay, food on the tables, etc. The initiators of the private jet purchase should have initiated "Help the poor/needy". This would have profited the church and members the more. I know that somebody would want to counter this, but the truth remains that Christianity is not all about flamboyance; though physical but more of spiritual. Boy!! N4b ($28m) is not a come-chop change. This amount could save dying lives. There are so many in the hospital that needed only N60,000, less or more for operations or other ailments. Tell me no one has seen or heard of citizens of this country (Christians) seeking for help either for tumour, cancer, or any other surgical operations for survival? Go to the hospitals, you will hate whatever financial waste. Walk round the streets, you will shade tears. Yes, humble Papa mustn't have initiated the idea or ordered the purchase he should refuted the idea. STOP this mismanagement of fund!!! |
some pastors move with body guards these days because of the behaviours of some people and insecurity in the country. If I may ask, in most of the western countries do pastors move with body guards? Also, Pastors are public figures and attract attentions wherever they go. they don't have faith in their own self at all, i have seen some too.You too, don't you have faith, yet you built strong and high fence round your house and always lock your doors while in the house or sleeping. Look, pastors are ordinary human beings like you, it is only that they dedicate themselves to preaching Jesus to people. If I should analyse Jesus and the apostles, I would say they are his (Jesus) body guards. Remember, they tried stopping people from going closer to Jesus. And, Peter chopped-off the ear of one of the soldiers that came to arrest Jesus. This should tell you that the apostles acted as body guards to Jesus. Take note that Jesus always withdrew from the Sadducee and the Pharisees any time he sensed they are plotting against him (when the appointed time has not yet come). In all, Jesus though in human form is more of a spirit (God). You can never compare Jesus with ordinary man (Pastor). ADVICE: Always strive to please God (to attract His glory/favour) instead of nose-poking into another person's affair. |
Please what is the issue there? Is it bad for a man-of-God to have a hand-shake with a Governor or a higher personality? OR To have a chat with any of them? This shows your low mentality. I believe you should visit the psych----- |
Folks, Please pray for the 22 Christian Missionary families that will be executed in Afghanistan today. Spread fast to as many that will pray. God bless you. ![]() |
