Pdude, quit already.

@OP, nothing, no amount of frustration, pains or problem is worth dying for. Believe me I've been there and when I look back now, I feel totally stoopid to think that i imagined suicide was a solution.

Country hard, people fail, heck at times you even query Gods existence , grace and love but the truth remains, You are precious to someone somewhere, every problem has an expiry date.

Stay strong!

When you are overwhelmed with problems reach out to people. Even if it means creating a new id, do so. Share your problem, God might send you a helper when and where you least expected.

The dividends of bad parenting. Such stoopid excesses should be nipped in the bud @ early age/stage.

Don't even know the right way to correct such.

advocate666: A disagreement between brothers and sisters are exactly what it is. A disagreement. An Eze is neither a debate referee nor a moderator. He/She have their own views. Having a view should not disqualify one. An Eze has full right to participate in threads.
However an Eze has more responsibility and should endevour to find a balance between his personal views and his larger responsibilities to ALL igbos.
thank you and quoted for future reference.

If you replace öbi with Zik or Ojukwu in the question I asked, you might see my reason for asking.

Thank you and noted.
Politics › Re: Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland – Electoral Reforms And Other Matters by ifyalways(f):
odumchi: The other thing that I was planning on writing about was nominations and voting.

I believe that, as several people have said before me, every person that identifies himself as an Igbo should be given the liberty to nominate and vote. It would also be in the best interest of democracy if the tribunal were a bit more lax and trusting of the good judgement of Igbo voters. The tribunal's main role, with regards to voting and nomination, should be that nominations and votes come solely from legitimate voters and nominators. As long as the participants are Igbo men and women, then the decision as to who should preside as eze and eze nwaanyi should be left mostly in the hands of the voters.

With that said, caution and care should be employed when determining those that are capable of nominating. Voting, on the other hand, will be totally out of our control due to the site's poll feature (that is, if it does return).
I agree to some extent.

Let the polls decide, fullstop. Anything short of that is dictatorship and would be fully resisted.

Every Igbo(after basic profiling) man/woman, regardless of his or her stance on ALL igbo matters is eligible to vote, be voted for and nominate. That's democracy.

I don't care about his statement but when it comes to road network and infrastructure, Oshi baba beats Fashola and all "ban okada" governors.

At the end of the day, all man is doing what he deems best for his state but in due time, the end would justify the just. cheesy

Prost1tut1on is the worlds oldest thread. Buyer and seller are both guilty. . . Or innocent.

The girls are not aliens. They are peoples sisters, mothers, cousins, GF's. What are YOU doing to make sure you don't (directly or indirectly)PUSH, ENCOURAGE or MAKE a female around you go into prost1tut1on undecided

You are an enabler if you:
Patronise
Disown your pregnancy.(a percentage of teen moms and kids end up in the streets)
Beg and collect money from your Sis, GF who you know is unemployed.

Etc.

Not apportioning blames but any woman that decides to go home with a stranger on first meeting and at odd hours is more or less a hoe.

The man even told her upfront that he was expecting seex, that is enough red flag.

What was it she couldn't resist or afford?drinks, pepper soup or the change the guy would "dash" her ?

Wish both what they wish themselves.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Are You Coping Without A Job by ifyalways(f): 3:18pm On Nov 10, 2012
^ that was funny.

@topic, I just have to say this :
Don't stay idle. Yes, you are jobless but don't be idle. Your breakthrough or miracle won't locate you in the room where you are sleeping or crying. Start getting yourself prepared for your miracle. Go out everyday with your CV . It could be a mall in your neighbourhood, a busy eatery/bakery/pub/restaurant/church/mosque, it could be a spa/salon/club,a friends office etc. Sell yourself at every point, grab every opportunity as it comes, throw away shyness, big girl/boy, stoop to win.

God has blessed people with no "name and contact" and he's still doing so. . .
