Education › Re: Has Madonna University's License Been Suspended? by ifyalways(f): 5:39am On Jul 05, 2012
Yeah
, all Madonna university campuses, lead university ibadan, obong university obong, Tansian university umunya and 4 others that I can't recall their names have all had their licenses temporarily withdrawn.
This according to NUC implies they can't admit new students nor continue lectures for old students until further notice.

Health › Re: Doctors To Treat Deafness With Snake Poison by ifyalways(f): 6:58pm On Jul 04, 2012
Now that its coming from "oyibo" its very cool and accepted.
I've known about snake poison used to clear ear defects since I was a child. A herbalist in my town was into that but trust the black man and self hate, the man and his medicines were most times ignored Cos he's "black, not educated and from the devil"
SMH. None but ourselves can free our mind!
Crime › Re: Police Rescue Seven-month-old Baby From Kidnapper by ifyalways(f): 6:45pm On Jul 04, 2012
Is it that suddenly women can't get pregnant again or whathuh
From the story, seems the woman bought the child to keep as hers.if she could afford to pay that much for a stolen child, what stops her from going for an adoption legally? Stealing a child beats every "positive" motive behind it.

ezeagu: . In fact, I've never seen anything mentioning igba nkwu in literature in the early 20th century.
it was fully in vogue then but was not known as igba nkwu. It was ime ego nwanyi or ikwu ugwo isi nwanyi. I believe the name evolved to igba nkwu because of the reservations we now have regarding paying "dowry" et all. Ime ego or ikwu ugwo isi dika a na-ere nwanyi hence the name change.
Culture › Re: Your Take On Tribal Marks by ifyalways(f): 12:49pm On Jul 04, 2012
An adult deciding to go for tribal marks is same as an adult that went and got tattooed.
Giving tribal marks to a child ? I don't really subscribe though.
Culture › Re: Igbo Women And Social Status by ifyalways(f): 12:30pm On Jul 04, 2012
Lol, my brothers no dey hear word. Ha na-akupagide ebe obula ugbo bujere ha. Lovely picture, dede Andrew.
Acceptance of other or foreign women is embraced and encouraged now though a few communities still place a sort of limitation to the so called "acceptance". Their is a special status and endless possibilities in the community, church etc to an "umuada" and "Nwa di ani" while for foreign women (sometimes)include Igbo women married from other another Igbo town, same can't be said, little segregation here and there , can't contest for okwa na nzuko "Christian mothers" etc. Very common in ideato area.
Lovely picture Andrew.
@odumchi, eziokwu. Lol

This tori needs deep analysis and careful dissemination. First, wife couldn't "do" her husband so she gladly brought her friend. Mumu man jump on board, no questions or reasoning. tongue
Second, man chop finish, e sweet am he decide to kuku carry am wholesale via marriage BUT did he seek the first wifes permission or opinion ?
Very funny story. Something must kill a man anywayz.

Argh woman, wake up.please buy, prepare and place within his reach and eye radius more spicy and tasty pieces of meat. Let him eat as much as his itchy fingers can BUT while he's busy @ your kitchen "stealing" your meat, jejely move yourself to the bedroom and go deal with his wallets and atms. Itchy fingers V itchy fingers.
lol, mine was dealing with baby milks then, when caught he would claim his mouth was bitter. When my nagging and hiding my baby food didn't work, I simply resolved to deal with his wallet and nobody tell am when to stop.

Looking at the economy and considering that all fingers are not equal, have you thought of "empting" your pot after serving everyone?remove all meat from your soup after serving everyone, put the meat in the fridge or freezer. Most men are generally "kitchen lazy" and won't get the strenght to microwave frozen meat.

Threads like this are refreshing. It glaringly points out the naija hypocrisy in us. I recall the thread someone was asking if you'll ever "offer bribe" in any way and for any reason to aid your kids educational pursuit.my good friend said no, God forbid and guess what?the kid brother was posted to yola and she's gone to "settle" an officer for his redeployment to lagos.
@topic, none of my family or friends is serving anywhere in the north excluding Abuja.I would gladly "sort" to get him or her redeployed.

Op, you can help out by giving her occasional back and waist massage, prepare her what she wants, run her bathe water and occasionally scrub her back and most especially, be very patient with her.

Lol @ cocoa. See how you and your partner are inflicting pains on yourselves Cos of ego. I was once in your shoes sha, my husband who then was a BF just made his friends come to me with tales of him dating another girl. I went into hyper mode, bought a ticket to his base and got into a hotel close to his house just to see him and his new babe. Lol chei love! Long story short, he caught me sneaking around on him and we made up right on the street with kisses, hard a long laugh @ our folly.
My advise to you, call or send an sms to your man and arrange for a meeting @ your favorite hang out place.that's all you need do as a lady, the man would finish the work; apology, flowers etc. He only needs a little push/ first step from you and he'll be all over you. Please,as you enjoy the make up goodies and kisses, make sure that whatever it is that caused the misunderstanding in the first instance is carefully trashed out and settled.
NB:not all p.ricks deserve a womans apology,I'm talking about real men oh that are worth the stress not dickheads. Believe your guy is worth it sha.
