Phones › Virus? by ifyalways(op): 9:46am On Mar 20, 2011
Im having a problem with my broswer (or phone),could it be a virus or hackers? An example,i log in to nld, type my reply but once i click on the reply button, the messages i get are: 1.the message body was left empty.whatever i typed disappears, forcing me to re-type all over again and still it goes back to msg body left empty. 2.It just automatically takes me to another section,eg i was trying to post a reply at the sports section but i land at the romance section. I noticed this happens only when im browsing with opera mini,is it just me,a virus or what?what do i do?i love browsing with opera. Thanks y'all

N500.00 a day is great if the food is so bad nobody will eat it. The hospital charges 500 people and cook enough for 10 people because nobody else will eat the crap they serve. No patient should be forced to eat hospital food. This is another way that organizations in Nigeria (with approval from Nigerians of course) mistreat people. If they want to keep it fair then charge more and make it a cafeteria. If the food is bad then people will not patronize them. If it is good then they will get paid. That is the only thing that is just. Everything else is basically the staus quo. Oppression and in this case the oppressed are probably the most vulnerable people. Wickedness

Tunmi:
Since we are talking about Desmond Elliot
1. He needs to go back to acting school or another performing arts institution if he plans to remain in the movie industry. I have watched his movies and I am disappointed. He does a lot of yelling an he overacts his part similarly to Tonto Dike. There is promise there because I do like his voice and he is one of those people who only needs some polishing on his speech. Whether as a director or actor, he needs to do his research. Reloaded2 was a hot mess. The first part was quite good, it set the plot but somehow when the movie involves a foreign location, the acting turns sour.

2. Exercise os your friend. This is not only a Desmond Elliot problem however. He does not have a babyface and it would help him of he was toned. He does not have to be muscle-bound, just toned so that he does not look like a flabby politician.

3. In the process of doing research, Desmond should hire screenwriters. Look at college graduates for inspiration and hire those people.

Im wondering If she has actually tried to love the man undecided Its never too late, she can always go IF she thinks it won't work.

@Dayo,I think that part of beating a child till he fals into coma is wayyyy off exaggerated.

@  ifyalways

we can continue with this argument till day breaks but after all said and done, health is an expensive business. In the most developed nations of the world, you have to pay through your nose to get even some basic healthcare.

At N500 per day, it remains cheaper than most private hospitals.  If we dig deeper, you will find that, the longer the patient stays on admission, the cheaper he of she pays for food. If someone is admitted for a month, i think how it works out would be eg N300 per day rather than the full amount. The N500 is reserved for short hospital stays. Again i stand corrected.

It is not that simple a mathematics ie, N500 * no. of days. This total amount is only paid on discharge and not a daily levy.
Seriously I do NOT understand you  huh
You are comparing 9ja healthcare;food and all with developed countries? oti ooo.Whats next . . .Naija boarding house food Versus home made dinner.

Whats up with the i think ,i stand to be corrected . . . .argument based on conjectures?
The onus of the matter is that such additional services should be made Optional.QED
It can be N50 or 5K per diem,it matters not as long as its NOT compulsory. The hospital from every indication is NOT a Private one therefore stuffs like feeding should not be a do or die affair.

Btwn,do Private hospitals have such strict meal laws?diet fees?

^ . . .Because as u claimed they have subsidized bla bla they can now force everyone to buy their food?
That your argument is so flawed . . .a poor farmer, market woman has a higher percentage of sourcing for her own food at a cheaper rate and wud definitely have other things to do with her N500.
People have relatives, friends and church members bringing them food for free when they are hospitalized

It must be really sweet paying for a food you did not send anyone to prepare for you . . .In any circumstance.

If the govt. or management wants to raise money for themselves they better use another avenue . . .You pay for bed and pay for food too  shocked Im just seeing people been delayed there in order to increase diet fees . . .ridiculous.

Hospitals have now become hotels . . .Bed and Breakfast(BB)  angry

They should make it optional; poster should write a petition to the Governor and the commissioner of health.

if Stella obasanjo hospital is the same as central hospital, then it no new practise. you have to remember health is an expensive business. drugs, equipments cost a lot. same applies to salaries that is always going up.

the meal fees i believe is only part of the hospitals internally generated revenue. i do not accept the hospital would feed their patients unclean or poisonous food. remember a good number of the nurses etc would eat from the same food.  maybe poster is an aristocrat or may have personal views/rules about meals served in a hospital hence his disposition to the food served

if he is displeased with the ongoing practice, it would be better if he channeled his grievances to the hospital authorities and/or the office of the commissioner of health in edo state.

N500 a day looks on the high side to be fair. i don't think it was this expensive in the past. wont be surprised if the hike happened after oshiomole came into office.
IMO,I don't see N500 a day as too much neither am i sooooo bothered abt the quality or quantity of food.
What I believe is wrong is Forcing every patient to buy or pay for the food regardless of how u feel abt the food . . .Haba,It should be Optional . . . .If you want, even if its 1K a plate u get it but forcing you to pay for a food when u probably have other means of feeding urself  . . .is that not extortion  undecided

Would you pay a hospital for TV when you neither sent them to buy one nor went close to the TV-Viewing area ?

Is the hospital a private one?

No one is saying they shld not cook or sale their food but why force every and all patient to buy,or pay for the food even If you don't eat or like it ?

Paying to park ur car, watch Tv,laundry etc is very different from forcing someone to pay for food whether s/he likes or eats it.

us women are very special creatures and never in a thousand years will we put a husbands cheating and his not passing his bible class in the same sentence cool

Note that she mentioned the baby as the first grievance. If she suspected cheating, that will be the second grievance (or maybe even the first) and she will not mention things like he doesn't clap in church or he no longer wants to talk until 3am in the morning.

I dont think she suspects him cheating; she just cant tolerate him anymore.

With the 2nd scenario, the wife is 100% S.illy and selfish.
@OP,was the wife working before and what made her stop?

How can a woman not have time for her husband but do have time for an owambe?Once again, what is the wife's mum coming to do in their home every Sunday? The man is working on Sunday while the woman is at home gisting and doing God knows what at home with her mum?

If it was the man that forced the woman into housewifely role, well, what can i say. . .cause and effect(even at that the wife is a meanie) else have they thought of the woman working?

na wao for us women sometimes.Marriage; One person shld NEVER carry any aspect of it ALONE,it won't make the marriage any better, sharing ALL workload, pains and gains works.

@OP,If he was born and bred he Osun then he ain't lying entirely If he told u he is from Osun.Perhaps he prefers to be seen as an Osun man.
The church scenario IMO is nothing. If however u are bothered abt his spiritual welfare and growth.try praying earnestly for him, prayer works.Do u organize and observe daily devotions in your home?it wud also help.

I find it hard to swallow the child abuse part but giving u benefit of doubt sha,how do u mean,"he beats the child like an adult"?Do u know abt his own background, was he abused as a child?how do u correct the child and is your method effective?

When u got pregnant ie the one that finally lead to the marriage was he skeptical abt your keeping the pregnancy?

oh dear chair cover you are indeed a life saver, i really do appreciate your contributions.

back to your word: yes your idea was right, but how do you convince a man who do not see anything wrong with the marriage to come to an agreement of finding a lasting solution to this?
The man ain't seeing anything wrong with the marriage because he went into the marriage himself, off his own free-will,not talked into or advised to do so,honey  kiss

He did not expect a fairy wind marriage with the novel "and they lived happily ever after" at the back of his mind,he has learnt to accept you and your faults and shortcomings, live one day at a time and therefore he believes he has a near-perfect marriage.

Don't involve the man in your own personal problems . . .absence of living will, insecurities and all,Please.

Make a decision today,by you and for you.
Take off the spectacles from which u view marriage . . .You are stuck in it,decide to make it work.the man does not abuse u in any way
You married to make your family happy, now that you are in there, its time to make urself happy.A good start is expect less, give more, talk less love more.

If you are still considering divorce,go ooo,u wud watch another woman move in instanta and enjoy that man.
Work on your self and your mindset.

If the profits of these companies find their way to Israel. I will boycott them.

It is war against Islam, hiding under the political hood. Israel have captured basically the whole of Palestine. They have their soldiers patrolling, they destroy civilian property, impose sanctions and oppress innocent people. Some palestinian groups retaliate, but israeli army is far far powerful. Couple of years back they launched an attack on Palastinians in Gaza strip and killed thousands. The U.S. and U.N. did not interfere. I saw the photos of the victims, it broke my heart. Since Israel is one of the major weapon exporters most of the countries keep silent on their atrocities.

So least we can do for our brothers n sisters in Palestine is boycott the product of companies which Fund their enemies.
If and will . . .You still sitting on the fence.  undecided

In life wehave to learn from history and move on, we do not have to dwell on history. The Eu is advancing today because they learnt to manage their differences and not dwell on them. Diversity and plurality of minds, beliefs and people are part of Allahs plan on earth otherwise we would all be one, speak one language, one culture etc.

Arguing which is right sunni or shia is not my thing and i would try never to dwell on it. As long as we agree on the 5 pillars of islam , read the same quran i would move on.

Difference will awlays be there but the genuinity of leaders is how to manage the difference and exraxct the best from it and not how to dwell on the differenc and split us further.

Islam is a way of life and muslims have to learn to treat social issues as social issues. Arguing every point from the shias are this the sunnis are that only further divides us. Learn to separate the actions of rulerss from their people as most of the arab govts are not representing the people.
