Hoodrat: You are welcome bro, i am all about liberating Africans because the growing poverty and frustration in Africa scares me and i've chosen to become a rebel, im a member of freedom from mental slavery group where this was posted and it is my right to spread the news and contribute my part.
successcertain: You cannot destroy slavery by becoming a part of your Master’s cultural incubator." - John Henrik Clarke
Racism denies people's access to life, liberty, to the pursue of happiness, to proper education, to control over their own resources etc.
Today is African Liberation Day, but why are we celebrating? We are not free yet, we are still slaves and we don't even know it. We are economically, politically and mentally colonized. We export raw materials and agriculture, then we import finished goods just like colonialism. We import most of our products, many big industries are controlled by foreigners. We accept all these foreign aid and loans to make us debt slaves. We rely on foreign contractors to build everything for us. We value everything foreign. We cannot unite, there is tribalism. Global Africans are continually demonized and marginalized everywhere in the world. We don't control our media, so we are represented poorly in the media. We have the worst Human Development Index in the world. Many of us are illiterate and don't live too long. We only speak our colonizers languages such as English, French and Arabic. African nations are now trying to introduce Chinese in classes even though our languages are dying out. We have high maternity deaths, high infancy deaths. Our best doctors and minds move to foreign countries to develop them while our continent deteriorates. This is just like slavery. Most of us don't know our great history, we only know that we were slaves and colonized. African culture, languages, religions, clothes and names are dying. We still have self hatred and inferiority complex. We cannot work together. We still fight in proxy wars funded by foreign forces that allow other countries to benefit from our resources. Our resources are still coming from the ground to fund other countries while ours are poor. We are pawns for other country's foreign policy. There are more foreign troops in Africa than during colonialism. AFRICOM is coming to Africa to kick out the Chinese and and secure investments, mines and African resources. But we won't discuss real issues we only discuss things that don't matter like celebrity gossip and European/American sports leagues. And when we discuss real issues people label it as conspiracy theories. We are still neo-colonized and our government is controlled by foreigners. They serve to keep the entire country as permanent cheap labor source, cheap resources and a consumer market. We still have the ICC only putting Africans in jail. These bad International Monetary Fund, World Bank Loans and the World Trade Organization are not serving our interests. The United Nations peace keeping troops do nothing for Africa and actually causing more damage. The colonial Pact makes Francophone African countries slaves to France. So, I am NOT celebrating African Liberation Day. I will not celebrate this until we are free from mental, political, and economic slavery/colonization. We must control our own economies and produce what we consume. Love our own products, services and businesses. Go to tourism in our own countries. Build our own institutions instead of going to other ones. Work together worldwide in Pan Africanism. Working together for the uplift of ourselves.
Most black African women wanna date white men.....they still have the mentality that whites are superior, mostly economically, who will save mother Africa?
cap28: He's being punished by the western nations for daring to challenge them despite being the legitimate winner of the elections in ivory coast. The ICC is a tool used by western powers to blackmail and get rid of african leaders that they have fallen out of favour with, many of these african leaders were their friends and accomplices in the past but somewhere along the line the relationship between the two soured and the next thing is for the EU/US to call for them to be brought before the ICC. This should tell you that most african heads of state have no real power in africa because the threat of indictment before the ICC is always hanging over their heads if they fail to follow instructions.
The way i see it is that the western nations are the mafia dons and the african heads of state are their servants the servants are allowed to get rich by opening up their countries for the dons to come into and ra.pe, in exchange they are given a cut of the loot and military aid which protects them from being overthrown by opposition groups - however the minute they refuse to co-operate with the dons they are punished either by being overthrown, having their country destabilised by opposition groups or if that doesnt work by having their country invaded by NATO.
So Gbagbo is now paying for his failure to leave office when his masters told him to (France) as you can see his successor OUattara is doing everything to favour France and her multinational corporations - things that Gbagbo was not willing to do.
Here is an interesting article written by an american journalist about african heads of states and their relationship to the west:
cap28: the goodjoehunt - has it occurred to you that your govt may be responsible for these incidents in order to force the american public to accept the repeal of the second amendment which permits all americans to bear arms. I mean it makes sense - create terror, blame it on foreigners resident in america and then come forward with a solution - confiscation of all weapons belonging to anyone resident in the US.
What do you thinnk about the situatioj of laurent gbagbo former president of ivory coast. He is currntly indicted into the icc. What are your thoughts?
cap28: sorry i got the figures wrong regarding the debt owed to China - their debt holding is $1.4 trillion, but this does not change the fact that this is a humungous amount of money that the US has no way of paying back
what's your point? the US has consistently run a balance of trade deficit since 1980 as a result of high imports of oil and consumer products and its huge military spending - this is why it is currently running a national deficit of $16trillion - as a result it has to go a borrowing how is that a positive thing?
if you read some of my previous posts you will see that i said that QE is the reason why the US dollar is losing its value very fast. printing money without producing enough goods and services causes inflation of your currency. China wants out of the dollar because the Fed's current practice of QE is inflating the dollar, this is the same reason why the other BRICS nations want to get rid of all of their dollar denominated assets as well.
but how does the US finance their defence budget? by printing the dollar which devlaues their currency and borrowing - how sustainable is that ?
the US became a world superpower by invading annexing and stealing the territory and resources of weaker nations and stipulating that all world commodities, specifically oil must be bought and paid for using the US dollar - this has enabled the value of the US dollar to remain artificially high since all nations of the world wishing to purchase oil (which is necessary for the development of any modern nation) has to do so using the US dollar. This means that most countries of the world have to have dollars in large quantities in order to conduct any type of meaningful trade irrespective of the state of america's economy. Russia did not have this advantage and therefore could not spend as much on defence as america has and continues to do - so it was not really down to any ingenuity on the part of america that they surpassed the soviet union economically and militarily.
America needs china more than china needs america - why? because america's multinational corporations are making millions of dollars as a result of outsourcing their manufacturing capacity to china - they do not have to pay the high wages that they were paying to their employees in america as they use chinese sweat shop labour and thereby reap huge profits, they also benefit from china's authoritarian laws and poor human rights records which allow their corporations to exploit chinese labour, in addition they enjoy huge tax cuts -they are therefore in no hurry to bring their factories back to the united states.
recent figures show that US consumer demand for chinese goods is actually declining due to rising unemployment - as i said in previous posts china has alternative markets for its goods like malaysia, singapore , thailand etc who have formed economic trading blocs which serve as an alternative export market for china.
also china's trade with africa and south america is rising steadily so the US market is not as important to china as many have been led to beleive. in my previous post i stated that china is now devleoping a domestic consumer orientated market so that it doees not have to be too dependant on export markets, its doing this by improving working conditions for its people and gradually increasing wages.
also yoiu are wrong to describe those jobs that were outsourced to china as low income jobs - are IT jobs low income jobs?what about research and development, how about skilled manufacturing jobs? all of these jobs were well paid jobs undertaken by educated americans but are now being done by educated underpaid foreigners in india and china.
To say that china is not an economic power is to admit that you are not living in the real world, even the IMF predicted that china will overtake america economically by 2016 - so i suggest you wake up. also you must have missed the very glaring presence of US and EU troops who were sent to occupy the entire african continent early this year in order to block china's access to africa's valuable natural resources, if china was not such a threat to america's position why are US troops deploying to alll the african countries where china has major investments ?
I find it laughable that you can accuse china of artificially manipulating the yuan without any hint of irony what do you think america is doing with the dollar?? what is quantitative easing ?
china has kept the yuan artificially low in order to increase demand for its products - that is common practice among all trading nations including the united states.
so why have US multinationals outsourced the bulk of their manufacturing capacity to china? they dont seem to have been put off by the communist system in china.
Printing of money without simultaneous production of goods and services = devaluation of your currency and in some cases hyperflation - which is where america will be headed once the dollar collapses. I suggest you wake up to reality and stop living in lala land.
@cap28 are you an economist? Hoiw do you know so much about economics?
shymexx: Let's face it - the world is ripe enough for another war for us to get our acts together and move into the next stage of our existence... The Russians are daring NATO to a fight in Syria, but NATO is running while using its Jihadist proxies to destroy the country...
Let's just hope no one clicks the nuclear weapon button - but I'll like to see a confrontation between the Yanks and the North Koreans...
Why do Africans love this women so much? Her lineage DESTROYED AFRICA!!! Slavery colonization and now neo-colonization. We love the people who do the worst damage to us. Stockholm syndrome. Love of the Aggressor!!
cap28: Rossike -have you seen hidden colours? its an award winning documentary by some african american scholars, everything you have referred to was analysed and proven in that video, including your post about the olmecs in south america, if you havent seen it make sure you do asap.
panafrican: People have to stop going after Nigeria. This harassment is becoming sickening at the end. Let's keep in mind a so-called banana republic is way better than a homesexual Democracry led by criminals who get away with international laws after invading and killing for no reason a 3rd world country president.
I love your posts. Keep it up. I am a fellow panafricanist. I wish more peope were ie you. Too many self haters.
shymexx: Well, I'm planning to take a Ph.D in Anthropology and I might end up in Tehran for my research/scholarship - and probably live there for a couple of years....
Blyss: Sure, no problem. Once the land is handed over the Afrocentric and the non-Afrocentric will both help in that process, from an independent Black-American nation. Any natives whom live on the obtained land can stay in the new nation as full fledged citizens, but other outsiders may obtain citizenship upon very limited circumstances, this doesn't mean that you cant come and visit, or do business there, but rather simply that you can't obtain citizenship. I don't see why you'all are so against this.
I only want militant afrocentrics in Africa no self haters!!
all4naija: Why do you use cars, mobile phones, televisions, computers, etc? Aren't you imitating Europeans? Inferiority complex in you.
Why are EUropeans using math, philosophy, science, technology. Africans invented all of those things. If it wasn't for Africa nbinary math system there wouldn't be any televisions, mobile phones or computers.
cap28: obadiah, payless and olumide i want to thank you for being the lone voices of reason in a sea of pure ignorance.
Who are the main beneficiaries of this project? - the nigerian masses or the depraved nigerian politicians?
I dont even want to imagine how much these fools are borrowing from western banks to finance this crap.
Why is it necessary to create another business district in lagos when there is absolutely nothing wrong with the one they already have, what makes this project all the more ridiculous is the gargantuan sums of money that have been poured into it when mainland lagos is still one giant slum. surely the focus should be on delivering the 3 main necessities of life to the people of lagos ie affordable housing, decent education and quality healthcare, but no their no 1 priority is to build an enclave for themselves and their cronies far away from the masses who they despise but love to exploit.
This their elitist enclave will ensure that they along with their partners in crime will no longer have to mix with the poverty stricken teeming masses of lagos who will be out of sight on the mainland battling to keep their heads above water as their lives become increasingly unbearable under the weight of unbearable poverty.
This project is nothing more than a huge slap in the face of millions of lagosians who battle daily to put food on the table, will the nigerian people ever wake up and realise thaat unless they do something about their condition these theiving ba.stards will continue to ra.pe and ra.pe them into the ground.
The Clintons have a lot of investments all over the african continent particularly in the mining industry, and payless you are 100% right with what you said about the fee he charges for public speaking, Tony Blair charges £100,000 for a 1 hour speech. you can see that these people are basically hustlers with zero interest in the welfare of african people. Clinton also has a lot of investments in Haiti and spearheaded the creation of free trade zones there which allowed american multinationals set up sweat shops employing haitians to manufacture goods for export and paying them wages as low as 15cents an hour - all of this is what is planned for nigeria and its people. Their lackey Fashola has already confirmed that free trade zones will be set up in lagos - The US and European multinationals will enjoy huge tax breaks and benefit from the endless supply of cheap nigerian labour, they will make huge profits which will all be remitted back to europe and america with zero investment in nigeria, the only people that will be laughing all the way to the bank will be Fashola and his cronies along with the "foreign investors" who will make the kind of profits they could only dream of in their own countries.
The average Lagosian will benefit from government revenue. This will also create jobs for Nigerians. The government can pay for schools and healthcare which will benefit the average Nigerian.
But I don't like the Clintons. Bill Clinton is responsible for the genocide in Congo. I don't trust his Clinton foundation. I don't trust TOny Blair's either. They are evil men who should be sent to the ICC. BUt everyone knows the ICC is for Africans only.
