attackgat:Spot on. ![]() Though I don't expect Arewaoduanistanis to understand the above. |
victorvezx:Lol! This one is obviously pained. Ndo. |
humilitypays:Brother. Those are minor squabbles that can always be sorted out. Its already happening in Nigeria and is worst already here, so it can't get worst in Biafra. In Biafra, it will naturally be sorted out, when true federalism become entrenched into the system. There are no historical back up to the story of Anambra trying to Lord it over other Igbos. Nri kingdom was not an imperial force, the closest thing to imperialism Ndiigbo encountered from fellow Igbos was from Arochukwu, and Arochukwu is in Abia not Anambra. Anambra people never lorded it over other Igbos in the Eastern region, cos they voted the Okpara. Anambra people never lorded it over Enugu and Ebonyi people in old Anambra state, cos Both Jim Nwobodo and Nwodo that governed the old Anambra, were not Anambra people, but were still voted by Anambra people. You are simply projecting your fears into reality. No such thing as Anambra domination. |
Nwa afor Igbo. Doing us proud. |
obaaderemi:What battle? There was no battle to begin with, just same boring stuff that had all been debunked here:https://www.nairaland.com/3327779/what-southwest-contribution-fg-account/6 You don't blame other Igbos for not having the tolerance to engage in a boring argument that had since been trashed out. |
Subbway101:Lol! Never knew it was this bad for you lots. You now see pazienza in every Igbo man out to debunk your lies. |
humilitypays:Lol! Different day, same trash. Anambra people are power drunk and would like to Lord over the Rest of Ndiigbo. Yet. Uwazururike an Imo man was the leader of MASSOB for years and MASSOB had the biggest fellowship in Igboland in Onitsha Anambra state. Currently the leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu is from Abia state, yet Asaba-Onitsha axis is the hottest spot of IPOB membership and agitation, only Aba can come close to Onitsha in this Igbo renaissance March championed by IPOB led by a non Anambra Igbo man. Currently, the President of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo is from Ebonyi state, and before him was Uwaechue from Anioma Delta state. Michael Okpara reigned all over the Eastern region and was loved by all, he never for once was antagonize by Anambrarians. Jim Nwobodo from Nkanu area in present Enugu state was the governor of Old Anambra state, and was never for once castigated by Ndi Anambra, he was loved all over the area. The Anambra man might be a proud man, driven by desire for success and need to be the best amongst equals but when it comes to Igbo nationalism, no other Igbo man can surpass the Anambra man patriotism to the Igbo nation. This is why I hate it when non Igbos start dabbling into Igbo affairs. Ndiigbo are not Yorubas that were all fighting each other. The delicate art of Peace and conflict resolution through dialogues and negotiations is an art our ancestors had relatively mastered centuries ago. It will serve us well in Biafra. |
hundredhunndred:Keep shouting Pazienza all over the place. Dude never claimed to be Mr handsome or Bill Gates. Had always maintained that he is an average looking Igbo man hustling on the streets of Enugu to make an honest living like the other millions of Igbo people out there. Why exactly you are sniffing at his pics and life Data can only be psychoanalysed as a manifestation of psychotic disorder. |
RockHard:Was really expecting a better reply. I guess I was stupid for thinking you can provide any, other than the same falsehoods that had been debunked over and over again here. Dude, you are boring. |
OmoAjowa7:Lol! Actually, all the trash and jargons on your thread had been roundly and well eviscerated time and time again. Though I understand why it's important you keep holding unto them, if only to safe face. ![]() |
hinohsend:Lol! Keep deceiving yourselves. Just as you deceived yourselves into believing that you are leading in education in Nigeria, until JAMB, NECO, WAEC, Unity school stats started slapping the lying demons out of you lots left and right. ![]() |
RockHard: Are you dumb or what? Obijackson can choose to site his business anywhere he likes. We have Igbo businesses in Cameroon, China, Kano, etc, you can as well ask me why not Onitsha? It's all business, there Igbos who site theirs in Igboland and those who site theirs at outside Igboland. Each to his own. Your analysis on money flow in the East is at best silly and lacking in basic understanding for me to even bother replying it. What do Yorubas do with their own money during transactions? They don't deposit them at banks? They carry them on their waists? ![]() Listen, there are more money in Circulation in the East because most businesses in the East are indigenous businesses. Unlike those in Lagos and Ogun axis which are mainly multinationals, who drain Yorubaland of money and remit home as profits, the businesses in the East are indigenous mainly, the money they generate are reinvested into the system in East, enabling saturation of the Eastern money circulation. ![]() |
He said that the consumption of rice in the country was rising and that a lot of people were not aware that the rice had some degree of arsenic. The minister said that consuming rice in large quantity on a regular basis was a bit of health risk, adding that substituting it with potato would be welcomed development. Lol! Comedians everywhere in this colonial entity. ![]() |
RockHard:Why must Onitsha people patronize Shoprite who would probable repatriate most of their profit back home to SA, depleting the money in Circulation in Onitsha, when Onitsha people have ready made big markets where they can buy all that shoprite offers at cheaper price and whatsmore, the money stays within Anambra and is gradually circulated to trickle down to everyone. I see nothing wrong with the above scenario as I don't really know if Shoprite Onitsha is really failing. Shoprite in Enugu is doing well though. |
Henrydone:Well, it so happens that Enugu has more money in Circulation than Oyo state. So, what does that say about your useless economium stats? Exactly, it only corroborates the fact that Oyo is lagging behind Enugu, and is moving fast to catch up with Enugu. If she is lucky enough, she might catch Enugu in the year of our lord 2150. ![]() |
Henrydone:Ofcourse, Enugu and Onitsha has more money flowing in them than Ibadan. ![]() Stats don't lie. Infact, go through Sonnie10 and kennydoc posts here for reformating of your ewedu clogged brain cells: https://www.nairaland.com/3102772/onitsha-ranked-most-polluted-city/6 I'm tired of repeating myself. |
Henrydone:You are a jellyfish. Only SE cities were taken into consideration in that report.
|
How exactly can Ibadan have more consumer spending power than Enugu and Onitsha, when both cities have more money flowing in them than Ibadan, even though they both have lesser populations? The woman that made the Euromonitor analysis needs a brain transplant Surgery ASAP. |
NATIONAL BUREAU OF STATISTICS 2010-2015BANK CREDIT AND DEPOSIT BY STATES IN NIGERIABank credit/deposit in each state may be used as an indicator of the level of activity and well being of operators (households and businesses) in a particular state as it shows what residents are borrowing and the amount deposit in banks http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/report/384 Bank Deposit by states in Nigeria From the report bank deposit by states in Southeast from 2010-2015 Bank deposit in Anambra state #1'844'434.75 Bank Credit # 258'716.37 Balance #1'585'718.38 Bank deposit in Enugu #1'651'741.09 Bank credit #370'012.75 Balance #1'281'728.59 Bank deposit in Imo # 936'606.57 bank credit #218'853.32 Balance #717'753.35 Bank deposit in Abia from #1'031'355.42 bank credit #391'675.25 Balance 639'580.17 Bank deposit in Ebonyi #330'841.52 bank credit #93'627.5 balance 237'214.02 Southeast total balance from 2010-2015 #4'461'997.51 From the report bank deposit by states in Southwest from 2010-2015 excluding nation commercial center Bank deposit in Oyo #1'617'678.48 bank credit #598'298.6 Balance #1'019'379.88 Bank deposit in Ogun #1'204'873.59 bank credit # 558'073.3 Balance # 649'800.29 Bank deposit in Ondo #821'901.84 credit #306'621.05 Balance #515'280.79 Bank deposit in Osun #648'726.72 credit #417'073.72 Balance #231'653.05 Bank deposit in Ekiti #301'136.23 credit #123,254.46 Balance #177,881.77 South west total balance from 2010-2015 #2'593'995.78 |
Moreover the euromonitor was talking about fastest growing cities in terms of consumer spending, not necessary fastest growing in terms of infrastructures or better city standards, yet Brown roofers turned it on its head to read it as fastest growing, without stating that it's about fastest growing in consumers spending power and nothing more. Is this how desperate these people are? And to make it worst, they started dragging SE into their mediocrity But even at that, does Ibadan as city have higher consumer spending power than Eastern cities like Onitsha, Enugu, and Aba? Well, one way of looking at the consumer spending power is looking at the rate of cash flow in the system, and in this regard, Oyo the state Ibadan is found in trails behind Anambra- Onitsha and Enugu- Enugu, so pray tell, how exactly did this euromonitor woman manufacture her stats that these Yorubas are jumping and tripping over? |
Moreover, that Euromonitor article was talking about "Fastest growing sub Saharan African cities in terms of CONSUMER SPENDING". Not fastest growing economy or infrastructurally speaking. But even at that, that it's stat is debatable as had been clarified here: https://www.nairaland.com/3294626/abuja-ibadan-port-harcourt-make-euromonitor/5 |
Henrydone:Lol! If we are on a race to Onitsha from Abakaliki, and I am already at Enugu city, but decided to start strolling, but you are still in Ebonyi but running towards Enugu. That you are running faster than me is the truth, but it's also true that you are still lagging behind me, despite your speed. ![]() Ibadan is running very fast to catch up to Enugu, but in truth, it's still lagging way behind Enugu. ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/2031155/enugu-makes-history-joins-worlds |
totit:Meaning what. There are money to make even in Brown roof lands, I'm sure few Igbos still fancy their chances there. Here is an Igbo community in poor Gambia: http://thepoint.gm/africa/gambia/article/2008/9/24/igbos-inaugurate-yicmic |
Henrydone:Lol! Take your complaints to Rockefeller foundation or to those that ranked Lagos one of the worst cities to inhabit in the world. Maybe they might finally remove Enugu and replace it with your dirty brown roof towns in SW like Ibadan. https://www.nairaland.com/2031155/enugu-makes-history-joins-worlds ![]() http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/08/19/lagos-ranked-worlds-third-worst-city-to-live-in/ |
Henrydone:Ngwa, take am! https://www.nairaland.com/2031155/enugu-makes-history-joins-worlds Yes! This is how we roll. Anyi ada asi ndo. ![]() |
PETUK:"They say you like Wahala, I get wahala" - Tekno PETUK, the great Einstein of our time. I salute you. Meanwhile, where are your theories, laws, inventions and ground breaking scientific discoveries? ![]() Go and sit down, Diokpa. My choice of music is no concern of yours. Face your front biko. |
Henrydone:If as polluted as East is according to your stats, Enugu still made the top 100 resilient city list. What does that say of your Brown roof mud house infested region? ![]() |
Lol! No need posting the bests of East here, it will be unnecessary waste of web space. If you are interested in exploring to see how rural and Urban Eastern neighborhoods look like, this is it here:https://www.nairaland.com/2576371/eastern-neighbourhoods-streets-made/30 Happy viewing. ![]() |
However, the WHO also said on Wednesday that the pollution data from Onitsha was not necessarily reliable because it came from a single monitoring station. “It is difficult to get accurate measurements in Africa. You can get super-high readings, but ideally the measurements should be done over a year to include different seasons and times of day. The reading in Onitsha may be representative but not altogether reliable,” said a WHO spokeswoman. http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2016/may/12/which-are-the-worlds-two-most-polluted-cities-and-why Anyway, the above is from the WHO on the so called polluted cities stat. ![]() |
Henrydone:Still no match to this: ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/2576371/eastern-neighbourhoods-streets-made/30 https://www.nairaland.com/2031155/enugu-makes-history-joins-worlds I guess you needed to take your Pollution stats to Rockefeller organization that handle the resilience city challenge, to add your Brown roof mud house infested enclaves into the prestigious resilience cities list. ![]() |
Henrydone:Lol! What does that have to do with infrastructures? See this: http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/08/19/lagos-ranked-worlds-third-worst-city-to-live-in/ |
