The name "Kamalu" is as ancient Aro/Bende as it can be. Today, it is now shortened to "Kalu" or "Kanu" but some areas in Abia state still maintain the full verion "Kamalu" and "Kamanu", especially Ukwa areas of Asa and Ndoki.
Yes.

Mba oli like single town?
According to Eleme Wikipedia page. The full name was "Mbaolli iche" meaning a single special country.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleme_people

Eleme are basically Ogoni people who mixed with Aros and lost their Ogoni flavor and now don't consider themselves Igbo(Aro) or Ogoni, but want to be independent.
Their saving grace is that they retained their original Ogoni language.
If they were Igboid speaking, we would be wanting them to reconnect to us through Aros.

The Aro influence on Eleme is retained in Igbo names some of them of Aro origin bear till this day.
Look at the names of Eleme important personalities on Wikipedia.
See Dimkpa and other Igbo names there.

I guess, by the time their language was collected in 1848 by clarke, you could tell they were at least Igbos or something close to the Igbos.

Another thing is that the historically collected names of some of these people might have changed. At least, some changed.

The Alinsaw or Alinso recorded by Tabot and older historians have changed to Egbema I think.
Eleme was recorded as Mboli (the Arochukwu's settlers' name for what we now call Eleme9. In older books, they were called Mba oli or Mbolli
Yeah.
They were probably already assimilated by Ndokis by then and were Ibo, but still have one or two vestiges of their original Cross River language.

Yeah. Alinso is now Egbema.
But the still call themselves Egbema Alinso.

All these aren't necessary if we understand two important facts;

1) Ethnic Identities are self-indentities.

2) Ethnic Identities , though relatively stable are nevertheless dynamic and may change over a long period of time.
They can't change without language change.
For example, the town called Igbide in Isokoland Delta State have a history of migrating from Mgbidi in Imo state and Awka in Anambra state.
But today they no longer speak Igbo as mother tongue and so can nolonger be called Igbo.
For this reason, you will never see Ndiigbo claim them.

If Bonny and Opobo were not speaking Igbo language as mother tongue, Ndiigbo will not be claiming them, even if they have history of migration from Igboland.

So nope! Ethnicity is not an artificial construct. Ethnicity is built on ancestral origin and woven together by shared dialects of a common language.
You can't be claiming to be a member of same ethnicity with a people you can't communicate with without using another foreign language.

That's deception.

The Ijaws know that language is important, that is why they are busy forcing Bonny and Opobo people to stop speaking their Indigenous Igbo language and instead start learning a fraudulent language from Kalabari that they call Ibani.

Nwotam is said to have been invented by the Ottams.
Either this or the Ottam were another proto Cross River group Indigenous to the area currently called Ndokiland, and Bonny, and Opobo, that the Ndoki people assimilated when they arrived the area.

In which case, the Ottam no longer exists today, but exists in the blood of every Ndoki man.
Just like the Neanderthal never went on extinction but were rather assimilated by the homo sapiens we call Caucasians today.
So they continue to exist but inside the blood of Caucasians.

The Ama-Onye-nabo relationship to the two kings who reigned at same time in Bonny is so on point.
I had always insisted that Amayanabo is an Igbo word.
I couldn't just explain how it became a title for a king.

There is the main Okirika who are the Ijoid one.

All these came together to form Okirika and that's why Okirika is a unique entity.

I don't think the Aboki is correct in that statement that the size of Nigeria is the determinant factor of Nigerian territorial sea because Benin Republic has more sea claim than Nigeria and if I can remember very well, Benin Republic is not up to half of Nigeria in land mass.

While Benin Republic Sea claim is: 200nm

Even small Togo is: 30nm

That is Fulani wayo lies breh. All sovereign nations, no matter how tiny have exclusive navigational and exploratory rights to their territorial waters as well as the right to exploit the natural resources embedded in the shelf of their Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs). Size's got nothing to do with it.
Even a sovereign speck of littoral land will have an EEZ as long as it is a natural landform. That is why some of these old colonial powers like France are clutching hard to their offshore islands not wanting to let go of them.
Okay.

How is this reply relevant to the topic??
Most Akwa Ibom oilfields are offshore. (Both shallow and deep) and they are always in number 1 or 2- flip flopping with Delta for top spot.
If you notice- they are one of the few oil producing states that don’t have much issues with oil spills and land degradation.

You better rethink any previous notion that you might have had.
But there is a factor people are not considering regarding the offshore fields.

NIGERIA only have claim to these fields because of our landmass that the North contribute the bulk of. As you level of claim to intercontinental waters I learnt is determined by your landmass.
If there is disintegration of NIGERIA, Akwaibom might not have enough landmass to claim those oil Wells from other smaller countries in the region like Cameroon, Gabon, Equitorial Guinea, etc.

What do you think about this?

Many Igbos may not know but the Obolo language is a mixture of Ekoid, Ibibiod, Igboid and Ijoid languages. There are communities and markets there with clearly Igboid names. Some of them bear Igbo names like Uche Secondus, etc. There is popular name called Horsefall is Rivers State from Andoni. The origin of the name is from a woman called Nwanyi Osifolor. She was a good cook and was very wealthy such that she started a war canoe house which morphed into the house of Horsefall.
They call themselves Obolo people and their language is clearly a cross river language group. It's the Ijaws that call them Andoni which many historians used for them. They are not an Igbophobic group. I once met one of them and I learnt a couple of things from him.
Ijaw is infecting everyone down there with Igbophobia.
I wouldn't hold my breath on modern Andoni not being Igbophobic.

Good development.

Abuloma people are not Ijaw too.
These people like Abua are proto Ibibiod people, just like Andoni.

Ijaw only succeeded in claiming these people for a while ( we all knew it wasn't going to last), because the Annang, Ibibios and Efik were too petty, too blind to see the big picture, too myopic to unite into one single mega ethnic group they truly are.

If they had succeeded in doing this, then they would have successfully pulled Abuloma (Obulom) Abua, Ogbia and Andoni into this mega group.
Because ethnically speaking, these groups are for all intents and purposes, proto Ibibiod people who developed riverine culture having migrated to and live in the riverine region as opposed to Ibibio and Annang that stayed on land.

Now that opportunity is lost because these proto Ibibiod people now see themselves as independent groups.

Nigerians don't know it, but GEJ and his Ogbia people, linguistically and ancestrally are more related to the Ibibios than to any Izon man screaming Aswana up and down.
Culture › Re: Why Do Igbos Place So Much Value On Ancestral Land Than The One Bought .. by Igboid: 4:27pm On Nov 26, 2021
The typical Igbo man is well rooted to his land. An Igbo man is connected to the the spiritual world, the world of his ancestors through his ancestral land. Everything we do is linked to the land, this is why Ala/Ani/Ana/Ali/Eli is the most prominent deity (a goddess) in Igbo speaking realm.
When you commit abomination, you are said to have defiled the land ie "nso Ani" and must purify it (Ikpu alu/Ikpu Ani)
Many had suggested that the bond between the Igbo man and his land is the chief reason why the Igbo didn't expand their lands much to encroach other tribes. In Ancient Igboland, the only people who migrated in Igboland are those who committed one crime or the other in their own ancestral lands and were either banished or had to run on their own for their own lives.
The most favoured to live and be buried in their ancestral lands.

That’s it. No one challenged Alagoa and Fombo in 1971. And Ijaw only claim to Bonny is the fraudulent write-up by Alagoa nothing more, nothing less.

However, the good thing is that men like late Prof Dike and late Prof Jones have already finished work on Bonny history before the rise of Alagoa. Encyclopedia and Wikipedia are simply Ijaw tool for propaganda sponsored by Ijaw leadership as Alagoa’s ideas is what is printed there. Even the speak Ibani (Kalabari dialect) going on in Bonny is Ijaw initiative kick-started by Alagoa and yet the Igbo leadership keeps quiet instead of springing their own surprise.

The only way to stop the Ijaw landgrab madness going on in Rivers state is a political solution. The Governors who have ruled Rivers minus Amaechi are all pro-Ijaw and anti-Igbo in orientation. Igbos need to rally a strong Igbocentric Governor to undo the over-40 years damage Ijaw rule have done in the pyshe of most Rivers indigene. This is why you have Ijaw pushing their agenda in Riverine Rivers state. The earlier Ndigbo do like the Yoruba who tactically and gradually made Warri/Itshekiri a pro-Yoruba town, the earlier it does for Bonny.

Ndoki people are originally of Olu/Oru origin.
They migrated from Aboh/,Oguta area to their current location.

It would therefore appear like Bonny is a point of reconvergence between lost Igbo brothers ie Aboh and Ndoki.
