Funny thing is that you will not see the one NIGERIA and anti tribalist crew here defending Ndiigbo. But once an Igbo Excel abroad and we rush to celebrate Ndiigbo, they will all crawl out from their places of hell, and start preaching Nigerian unity and why we should not remind the world that the high flyer being celebrated is Igbo. |
plaindealer:Which is more reason you should act like Malaysia and tell your law makers to expell the liability and Parasitic Igbos from your NIGERIA, so that your region should enjoy all the beautiful IGR and VAT you generate without having to share with the Igbos. Don't you think so? |
Obi1kenobi You can keep generating all these silly analogies, but the hard fact remains that the most rootless tribe in Nigeria who just won't sit their arses down in the land they claim to love so much are Igbos. Which is incidentally detrimental to the Biafran cause they claim to espouse. The SE needs investment: in business and infrastructure. Yet, we're here bragging about how we own 40% of Lagos, or however many percent of Abuja and all that nonsense. You are mentally deranged. Ndiigbo are spread all over the world. Every single damn place. We don't all need to stay in Igboland to prove to "akaliogolis" like you that we want and need Biafra. If you are not mentally challenged, you will know that people have the right to inhabit anywhere in the world once they are law abiding and also have the right to be proud of their achievements and contributions in making such foreign lands successful. It doesn't in any way mean they don't want an independent country of their own back home. Whether SE needs investments or not, shouldn't be the concern of Nigerians, you shouldn't be crying more than the supposedly bereaved. I care because I believe there should be more to any serious movement than frenzied emotions. Czechoslovakia whom you cite was always a binational state for decades since the end of the Austro-Hungarian empire, which had a clean break shortly after the Velvet revolution in a smooth process advanced by both nations. The movement wasn't led by a group of fascist thugs like IPOB ignoring the hard work of political engagement and persuasion for thuggery and dissemination of hate. Again, nobody is forcing anything on you. You have not shown yourself as serious people worth engaging, so you're just ignored to make noise into the void. Pretending that other Nigerians are forcing the union is narcissistic nonsense to feel relevant. You are not alright, Igbo issues will finally be your end. Is Nigeria not a Multinational state? Do you know the meaning of a "nation" ? Is Igboland not a nation? Was Yugoslavia not a Multinational state consisting of the following nations: Bosnian, Croatia, Slovenia, Kosovo, etc. Yet the Parasitic Serbia had to pick up arms to force unity on other nations like you Nigerians are doing on Biafrans. If the Czechs were as parasitic, they would have picked up arms against Slovakia like Serbs did in Yugoslavia. The Czechs didn't because they truly believed they were better off without staying attached to relatively poorer Slovakia. The only way you prove you are not a parasite is by letting go of any one who thinks you are one. If you can't, then you are indeed one. Actions will always speak louder than empty words and concocted stats. Parasites always have a way of justifying their Parasitic actions, no one is deceived. Binational nation or not , Czechs had all the power they needed to start war and insist that Slovakia remained part of Czechoslovakia, but they chose not to, that's how you prove you don't need a people you consider liability. Again, no. Cowards are thugs who assault old men because they know there are no repercussions. You can read about teh American or French Revolutions to understand what courage looks like when your very lives are at stake. Tearing a man's clothes at a diaspora event is just barbarism and cowardice and has nothing to do with courage. Our politicians are not elected by the military. We elect them. Our own failure as a society is what uplifted those people to prominence in our society. SO you can either look inward to tackle the self-generated rot, or you can keep grasping for foreign scapegoats for blame your society's problems onFrench revolution or whatever will not be more than Biafra revolution of 1966-70. We have been there, done that but we're unfortunately unsuccessful, because some people are parasitic enough to want to stay glued with us with the power of guns. The Politicians in Igboland are not elected by any Igbo man, they are stooges serving the interests of those who got them to power. We saw what happened when the Igbo masses put in our own candidate in Imo only for same forced to impose their own stooge and any attempt to touch the stooge has been resisted by deployment of coward Nigerian military. So yeah, without the military, no Igbo Political office holder have power, that's to show you that their powers are not derived from the massess, but from the external forced outside Igboland. And the only way we remove them is by fighting the Nigerian military who would come to their aid, which unfortunately we are not yet well prepared for. |
Obi1kenobi No, there is nothing useless about the stats. I'm sorry that the stats are inconvenient to your fascist Igbo supremacist narrative, but your resentment of that reality doesn't make it any less real. Nobody is threatening you. They're pointing out the hypocrisy of people who cry loudest about Northerners being "parasites" equally being shown up as being parasites feeding off Niger Delta oyel money. If Igbos like you didn't go around spreading your hateful rhetoric, there would be less glee from detractors in reminding us of this hypocrisy. What are you talking about, are you okay at all? So because Igbos are in Mozambique making money now means that Ndiigbo want Igboland to be part of Mozambique? If the Igbos who are in North want Igboland to remain part of NIGERIA for their own businesses, then they are senseless, because we have other Igbos scattered all over the world all excelling and non of them need Igboland politically United with their host countries to Excel. Igbos like you in Lagos and those in the North who selfishly wish we remain in Nigeria for their sake, are minorities and will soon wake up from their dreams Again the VATS are Useless as far as reasonable Igbos are concerned. And as for the parasites issue are concerned, Ndiigbo have no interest in VAT or IGR ish, it was Rivers and Lagos who are locked in battle over IGR, Ndiigbo don't care, we just don't want to share a country with Nigerians. Go figure. Ndiigbo don't care about your Niger Delta oil, which is why we are still eager to have Biafra without the non Igbos in SS. We have full confidence in our own abilities to turn things around once fully in charge of our own destiny in Biafra, the real parasites are those forcing one NIGERIA on others, if they are confident in their concocted VATS and IGRs, they should be clamouring for their own independence so that they can go enjoy it alone, this should be common sense. The Slovakians felt they were better off without the Czechs and so demanded to be left alone by the Czechs. The Czechs confident in their own abilities as a people obliged. They proved they were not parasites by not threatening Slovakians with war, but rather accepting round table dissolution of Czechoslovakia. That's how people prove they are not parasites, and not by manufacturing useless VATs and IGR reports to prove non existent point. What do you hope to achieve by pushing the propaganda that SE has low VAT and IGR? To show we can't survive in BIAFRA? Isn't that ridiculous? How is it any of your concerns if we survive or die in Biafra? Do you love us more than we love ourselves? Yes. We would if we could. Unfortunately, we can't transplant Igboland to those places which makes the point redundant. There is an obvious disconnect between shouting loudest about hating your country and wanting desperately to leave, and yet doing far more in deed than any group to retain the unity. It's also at odds with the much needed investment needed in our land if the most prosperous Igbo sons and daughters abandon their lands to live in, invest and pay their taxes in foreign lands.I believe I had already answered this above. No, they are in power because we voted them. The Nigerian military did not install them as leaders. They are products of Igbo society, and people deserve the leaders they get. If you cannot prevail on your politicians to represent your interests, then you're actually impotent. Assaulting Ekweremmadu - a middle-aged man with no protection - was a cowardly act by cowardly thugs. It is not a reflection of the strength of secessionist agitators, but an actual reflection of their impotence and cowardice.Ekweremmadu was probably believing the thrash you wrote above until he Left Nigeria and had no Nigerian military or police to protect him. Without the Nigerian military and police, none of Ekweremmadu or any so called Political office holders in Igboland command the respect or obedience of the average Igbo man on the streets. They derive their powers from the Nigerian military that invaded Igboland and occupied the land since 1970. They are the real cowards who depend on occupational military power to exact any form of control or extract any form of compliance from a people they claim voted them into power. The shame is on them and you. |
Obi1kenobi:The VATS and IGR like every other stats in Nigeria is Useless. If those who parrot them believe them, they wouldn't be threatening people who they think are "parasitic" going by their Useless stats with violence at the mention of secession. Igbos are in USA, Britain, Asia, African countries, even in remote places like Samao island. So does it mean we want Igboland to be parts of those countries just because we migrate to those places? Dude your reasoning process is defective, you need urgent mental evaluation. As of the Political office holders in Igboland. You and I know that they only remain in power thanks to the guns Nigerian Military is pointing at Igbo massess, if not we would have run them out of town. Look what Happened to Ekweremmadu in Germany where he had no NIGERIAN military and police protection. If after the events of sit at home in SE have not shown you who really is in power in Igboland, then I can't help you. If Nigerians believe their Useless stats, they should stop threatening violence when we say we want to leave NIGERIA. And yes! Atleast 90% of Igbos home and abroad want Biafra, we might have disagreement over the methods to get Biafra, which is where significant number of Igbos are against IPOB,but we are mostly United in the belief that we need Biafra. If you think otherwise, then you are playing the Ostrich. |
Obi1kenobi:I don't think any Igbo man is interested in North being parasitic or not. We just don't want to be a part of NIGERIA. Ndiigbo are aware of our limitations and still want independence from Nigeria. If the rest of the country believe their Useless IGR and VAT stats, then they should be better off without Ndiigbo and should help us leave NIGERIA. Don't you think so? |
ojembaojemba:Not if we don't igbonize the Biafran struggle. If we keep being foolish by including non Igbo minorities like Ikwerre, Obiigbo massacre will have to be forgotten and demons like Wike will go scot free. |
Obi1kenobi:Where did you get this propaganda from? How much does Kano get from the FG as monthly allocation to states and LG as opposed to amount SE gets from the FG. Finding how much Each take from FG would be a better way to analyze things. |
chiefobdk2:I tire. |
Homeboiy:It can't be sea port. River port should be a better fit. |
Alexbells, this is supposed to be your area. That's water body looks nice. Could make for good tourist site if developed. |
Ekealterego:Yes o! We must hold unto our people in Nembe. |
osazsky:Taa. Keep quiet Bini man. Is Bini now SS? ![]() Bini nah more of NC. Nembe is Igbo. |
Nembe people are Igbos. |
Osagyefo98:Aboki na Asu Igbo. Atalom gi. Igbo Amaka. Even Jesus na Asu Igbo. ![]() |
Idafire:Opobo and Ngwa speaks Igbo. Yenegoa speaks Edoid language. I lived in ABA for 5years and never needed an interpreter as an Anambra man speaking Anambra dialect. They all understood me well. When I go to Opobo and Bonny, i would still communicate with them with my ANAMBRA dialect and they would understand me well. We will sell you Sierra Leone invaders with my native language when I visit Opobo. But an Ijaw from Gbaramatu cannot communicate with an Epie man using his Gbaramatu language. Hope you see the difference? |
BKayy:Anambra shares boundaries with Abia at Isuochi area. Between Isuochi (Umunneochi LGA) and Orumba South (Owerre Ezukalla). But nwanne I understand your point though. Pay these lots no attention dear. |
Idafire:OP is an Aboki and his one minute of Fame starts and ends in Nairaland. Aba and Onitsha has always been centres of Igbo nationalism as represented by Biafra movement in modern times. Oka unu obi, go to Aba or any Ngwa village as Shout that Ngwa is not Igbo or Biafra and watch your head go off. Ala na awi gi starts and ends here. |
Osagyefo98:Mugu. Achike death was politically motivated and has nothing to do with IPOB. Once you hear Igbo, amu gi akwulu oto ka nwa Mkpi. Agadi na agwo ofe, ifele eme. Onye melu yi ifea anwugo! Tufia! Obulu ogwu na oma elene nata! |
ChinenyeN:Bla bla bla and more bla. 70years old woman like you, age hasn't bestowed wisdom on you yet. When will you grow up? Igbo haters using you to play ludo. |
Ekealterego:ChinenyeN has always been shortsighted. The good thing is that she is only a woman and not a man, so her opinion starts and ends here. I had many confrontation with him on his clannish sentiments in the past. Pay her no attention. Her opinion starts and ends in NL. |
Ekealterego:True. Very easy to notice. He is an Aboki. |
Idafire:You lots can't seem to make up your minds on Ndiigbo. We have made your brains to malfunction. In one minute you all chant that Igbos are tribalistic, and in another minute, you start telling yourselves that Igbos hate each other. Are you not tired of your Iberiberism already? |
paramakina202:This account belongs to same Aboki ImembaN. He is using two Monikers to communicate with himself in bid to pitch Ngwa against Ohuhu. This method is outdated bro. You need to upgrade, you can do better. |
ImembaN:You are not okay. Even Nsukka have many sub dialects. Idemili has sub dialects Ezza has subdialects. It's only normal. You don't expect Ngwa people who are neighbors to Umuahia people to speak like those neighboring Ibibio or Ass/Ndoki people. This is common sense. Aboki you needs to focus on your cow or tomatoes/onion business in Aba and leave Igbo inter clan politics alone. Your shenanigans ends in Nairaland. |
SaintBishop:Except that the person who opened this thread isn't from Aba or Ngwa. |
kmcutez:Lol! He is not Igbo. Before OP learnt about Nairaland, there was an Aboki on this forum in 2006 called Ndu_Chuks who was born and raised in Aba too, and could speak nearly all Igbo dialects fluently and write them better than most Igbos. It took a long time for Igbos to decode that he wasn't one of us. Igboland has a large population of Hausa-Fulani who has been living with us since 1930s. You don't become Igbo because you claim Igbo or can speak or write Igbo. Your mindset will always expose you if you are an impostor. I hope you are not the OP, this one you are defending him. |
Astrid4:Same Oshogbo with it's rustic roofs and shabby private buildings. You lots like believing your own lies. Oshogbo is a glorified village, not even better than Orlu. Oshogbo is no match to Aba, and certainly most roads in Oshogbo are not tarred. You lots are just good at suffering and smiling. |
ambale:NIGERIA is a dead entity. Dead things don't have potential. So I don't know the potential you speak of. |
SaintBishop:Don't be stupid. Ngwa and Aba are Igbo speakers. It's not same as Edoid speaking Epie. OP is a clown because even though there are clannish sentiments among Igbo sub groups as seen in any other nation (eg in England, the scousers have a clannish sentiments against the southern English clans), we all still speak intelligible dialects of Igbo language and accept we are one. OP is an Aboki who has stayed too long in Aba, I lived in ABA for 5years, there are many Hausa-Fulanis whose families have lived into third to fourth generation in Aba, they speak fluent Aba Igbo and understand the local politics well. OP is one of such. |
Astrid4:Your IGR is meaningless. Pure meaningless if you still dependent on Crude oil at the end of the day, what's the point? Your Government decides to overtax you, mine decides to not overtax so that I could profit more from my business and train my children. And you are out dancing over your over taxation by your Government? Do you have better infrastructures than SE? Aba is not even the capital of Abia state and is by all means better than Oshogbo. That we in SE are good at attacking our governors and leaders as well as exposing the poor roads in our states, does not mean that Yorubaland have better leaders, better roads and other infrastructures. It's just a difference in cultural behavior. In Igboland we don't respect anyone who is not doing well out of just age or rank consideration. That's not same with Yoruba land. This is Aba:https://www.nairaland.com/6300302/few-pictures-all-aba-great But we are not interested in the good parts, we would rather show the bad ones to keep the bad Leaders on their toes. In Yorubaland, the bad roads are hidden, while the good ones are shared just so that bad leaders can be worshipped and image of "sufferstication" can be created. We are virtually different people in looks, behavior and everything else. |
