What have you achieved with your years of approaching the issue that way, I can't base my judgement on the account of others, I need my own version of the story, I had gotten the answers I need and I had formed my own opinion, In case you think I'm a noise maker at least I had already created an exhibit that at one point I wanted peace, even if you hate people you just don't go and tell the whole world that you hate them.

They had shown me their own color and I now have personal justification for my view towards them, know it that I can't take your advice and I can't take it so that you should stop wasting it, since you had been approaching the issue for over a year why not keep the advice for yourself, please speak for ourselves, stop saying "us" I have my name and you have yours and every other Igbo have theirs.

Everybody MUST not follow your approach, know this and know peace,
Nnaa things stand on things.
Ife kwuru, ife akwudobe ya!

You can't just come and be reinventing the wheel.
You are taking us back to a stage we have all passed through and it's not cool.
The Hallmark of scholarship is ability to stand on the progress or knowledge of predecessors to advance and not to go and start afresh. This is why we have "literature review" and all during research.

There is no peaceful coexistence with these lots, some of us have been on this issue since 2006 and we know a lot of things you don't know.
You are getting angry about Ijaws imposing dead Ibani-Ijaw language on Opobo Igbo speakers, which means you didn't have knowledge of this before now, but this is what some of us have always known since 2006 and beyond.
Your approach reminds me of those of IPOB who for years were impervious to reasoning and made alot of mess for us in the process.

Please listen to wise counsel and stop already.
The Ijaws are on expansionist mission towards Igbo speaking regions of deep South and to landlock and tax the Igbo post NIGERIA for sea access. This is a matter of survival for them. And a matter of economic sabotage to us.

There is no reaching middle point with them on this. Knowledgeable ones know how this issue will be eventually settled, the only thing delaying it is the existence of NIGERIA and the meddling influence of Hausa-Fulani and Muslim Yorubas who many Igbos are not aware that Ijaws are in alliance with, hence Making Igbos talking of Biafra with minorities appear like total dummies.

Very good development.
Igbos want Awa Oyel, Nye nye Nye nye! grin cheesy

We need more sha.
The Igbo nation is on the rise and the eyes of evil enemies surrounding us South and North and West will be blinded by the radiance of our magnificence.

You are still wrong. Why? When a part of some Nsukka/Waawa communties migrated from that area it was not Igala land. In fact if we go by Ogbonna's research Igala did not exist.

So if we want to be accurate from now on then we can say Igala migrated TO Nsukka land at Idah and environs. Not Nsukka migrated from Igala like the slowpoke just wrote.
You are the one who misunderstood me.
I Never implied the land was Igala land as of then.
I said the land they(Nsukka people) occupied in the past, is exactly the land we call Igalaland in modern times.

For example, the old capital of Oyo people called "Oye-Ile", is currently in Niger state, occupied by Nupe people.
But we know that Nupe didn't occupy the land in the past, and so therefore it would be wrong to say that Oyo people migrated from Nupeland to their current location, because the Nupe didn't exist in the land when Yorubas were still there.

We are not talking about his age, weight or stuff like that but he had declared war against us, even though all they do is make noise like the urchins they are, we would follow them up and know what they up, we prepare for the big enemy same way we prepare for the small ones, prepare for the hungry even more cuase hunger brings ambitions, we sre not expecting anything more and we are not expecting anything less, if he is out for it we out for it
Well they declared war against the whole South.
Lol!
They want Gelegele (Edo), they want Warri(Itsekiri) , they want parts of Ondo (Yoruba), they want Opobo, Bonny and Ndoki all being Igbo territories, they want Ibeno, Andoni and Eastern Obolo and Iron, all being Akwaibom territories.

They made our job easier for us, because they lack population or influence, and would be too stretched fighting at different war fronts to constitute a resistance to our Opobo and Bonny reunification with hinter Igboland plans.

I actually like Ditari and would encourage him to continue, as I think his approach makes it very hard for other Igbophobic groups down south to unite against Ndiigbo.
With his Approach, Ijaw would become the Boogeyman man in the South. cool

I see nothing wrong with his picture.
He is young, healthy ( no fat) and full of life.

I don't understand the whole mockery. His looks are fine. cool

Why are you disturbing yourself. Let them fight their fight joor.
By the time North finish their plan. Their eye will open with Usman as new NDDC chairman.

I heard the deputy senate president saying NDDC is a regional developmental commission as if the power that is pushing for the bill don't know.

Am glad SOUTH EAST is distancing itself from SOUTH SOUTH fight. We ought to have learnt a lot by now
We truly have learnt alot.
It's not like we had any other option but to learn.

I'm a strong believer that Ndiigbo must stop playing the politics of the Minorities and start playing the Politics of the majority.

If the Hausa-Fulani and Yorubas decide that Niger Delta oil should "rightfully" belong to all Nigerians, since we are all Nigerians.
Ndiigbo should be wise enough to go with the majority and ignore the Minorities. If the Minorities feel shortchanged they can pick up arms against NIGERIA and feel the wrath of the country like Ndiigbo once did, if they can't do that, then they should all relax and enjoy one Naijeriya we all fought for. Chikina.

We should not be the ones bringing out evil policies against the Minorities, but we should for no reason try to stand with them, as they have nothing really strategic to offer us in return, we should back the other two majority and enjoy the one NIGERIA they all fought for, while it lasts.

This is my take on the NDDC brouhaha.
We must learn to start playing ruthless, non emotionally flinching, interest based politics.

I had earlier made a post on this in the past:https://www.nairaland.com/6786253/vat-brouhaha-se-should-assume

I was happy to see how SE played the VAT politics, now I want us to show same pragmatism in this current issue.
I don't want to see SE persons writing stupid emotional , sentimental and sanctimonious articles against this current Yoruba/Northern Agenda on NDDC.
I want us to play the neutral game, not offering any support to SS or the North/SW. We should sit it out, and once the majority start winning, we rush in and close ranks with them and cash in.
This is how we should play our politics.

I'm glad Igbos have finally woken up, the era of playing "brother" and "good neighbor" to these ungrateful minorities who in return turn around and spite us at every turn has come to an end, the GEJ situation has taught us a very BIG lesson... now it's time to join the big boys party and the play the game the dirty way, so on this one, I wholeheartedly support the Aboki's especially now that Anambra has joined the NDDC... Imo state with its abundance of gas is about to recover the remaining oil wells that were usurped into Rivers state (at least Uzodinma is making us proud for once on that one), Abia state is already secured as an oil producing state and I know in no distant time Enugu will join soon since oyel has been discovered in commercial quantities there already ... when it's all said and done, the SE is finally waking up and strategically positioning itself in its rightful place among the league of the "BIG 3's"... we just need to get it right politically ahead of 2023 and we're set.

Lastly the only people I care about after the SE are the few Igbos in the South South who have proudly maintained their Igbo identity, then the Igbos in Kogi and Benue states who are now raising enough media attention to the existence of their profound Igboness.
OP.
You want my opinion on this thread.
This comment just about covers it.

Thank you.

careytommy37:
It is attitudes like this by some Igbos that has made the SE irrelevant in the scheme of things. You think you can achieve anything without strategy and allies?
Did you see how Wike worked with SS Govs to challenge the Revenue collection bill?
What has the SE achieved politically since 1999?
It's unfortunate that grand standers like you are the most vocal and ready to insult anybody who is not of Igbo stock.
Tomorrow, when nobody support any of your agitation, you will say the Nigerian state hates Igbos.
You are talking trash as usual.
SE will not push any agenda that doesn't belong to us.
If you are angry about this, then I can't help you.
We have supported others enough but get no support from them when we need one.
Now we are learning to relate with everyone else strictly on interest based basis.

What has SE achieved politically?
What does that mean? Are you okay at all?

That is to say that they migrated from Igala land nah

I did not say that we are igalas
Modern day Igalaland. Yes!
But it was not called Igalaland when they were there, because the people you call Igala today were not in existence as of then.

Don't worry about Nsukka Axis, I will happily personally lead the campaign that Side, it is my homeland that we are talking about here, I spent a good time in Idah, also I know the Enugu state/Kogi boundary very much and also Enugu/Benue Boundary, I have friends as far in as Okwutu part of AlaIgbo, those ones are minor issue
We have to worry about every axis bro.
Nothing should be taken for granted.

The task of reuniting Igbo land and people scattered in SS and NC must not be left to chance.
Every single move and detail must be well though out, planned and executed.

The balkanization and grabbing of Igboland by surrounding minorities standing on the shoulders of Hausa-Fulani and some mischievous Yoruba Muslims has gone on for too long.
Everyone see Igbo land as fair shot.
The Ijaws from South, the Binis from West, the Igalas from North.

This can't go on forever. This Igbo generation must make a stand. The Multiethnic BIAFRA championed by IPoB must be murdered in cold blood by Igbo nationalists, so that Igbo reunification project and the subsequent rise of a unified Igbo nation will happen.
