obixcel:Unfortunately for you, some people and the law actually know how to delineate and reason through things. No, both things are not the same. |
Pence's turn. Trump still f'd. Shows the difference in handling between Trump, Biden, Pence.
|
wirinet:It's not going to matter. He is fully invested in this on an emotional level. This tactic was banned after Floyd, but even beforehand as the Chief of Police testified, they had written procedures in their training manual on when and how to use it, and Chauvin's use wasn't authorized per the manual. No need to do more than read the police training manual. |
CapitanS:Did you think this through before you wrote it? It seems you heard this somewhere without putting reason to it. If this same FBI agent was indeed overseeing the Russian collusion allegation, and was indeed working for the same Russians, it would seem that he would have a vested interest in coming to the conclusion that there was no Trump conclusion. Or did you think the same Russian (Oleg Deripaska) that was paying this FBI agent and also gave Trump's Campaign chief Manafort a $10Million loan would want him exposing the fact that he was working with the Trump Administration? If anything, if this agent was indeed involved in the Russia investigation, this is bad news for Trump. Not only does the FBI have to reinvestigate every investigation this agent dealt with, they may also be able to flip him to get more information about Oleg Deripaska. Take the time to think through some of the things you hear. Simple way to see it.--- If Oleg Deripaska had this FBI agent and Trump in his pocket. This FBI Agent was investigating Oleg Deripaska's relationship with Trump. What conclusion would you expect this FBI Agent to come up with? |
CoolUsername:You really said that Black communities were less violent during Jim Crow? That's the kind of response you get when you realize you've been backed into a corner with a rather ridiculous argument. Your next argument will be there was less violence in Black communities during slavery. |
budaatum:That would require actually reading something with an openness to actually learning something/having your mind changed. |
benalvino3:Trying to be kind here, but your understanding of this is shallow. Look it Nigeria gained it's independence in 1960, 4 years before the Civil Rights act which outlawed discrimination against Black Americans. Tell me, why is Nigeria trending downward. Is it the lack of Nigerian families? |
CoolUsername:That didn't answer the question. Trump ran on the platform make America Great Again. I showed you the dates/history. When was America great for Black Americans? So, who's America is Trump referring to when he says Make America Great Again? Why are you dodging the question? Again, when was America Great for Black Americans and Black families. Give me a year. |
CoolUsername:1.) You didn't read the full record. You seem to have missed the assault part for both her and her husband. 2.) I ask you again, which you still haven't answered, what time in history(what years exactly) do you think the black family was better off? The fact that you can't answer this means your theory isn't ready for prime time. Study some more and tweak your theory so it at least aligns with history. |
benalvino3:Exactly as I thought. Serious people with serious ideas can express those ideas in words. |
benalvino3:You really sound confused. Instead of using Dem and Rep (since you don't seem to understand realignment). You would do well to use "The party representing southern states" and "The party representing northern states". If you want to sound like you make any sense. |
benalvino3:What explicit point you are trying to make? Why don't you state a complete idea without images or gifs or a post from someone else. |
CoolUsername:Again, google Boebert criminal history. And she is a sitting congresswoman. By selecting one image and using that to brush a whole race of people, while not charactering the white race by a similar image, you're further propagating the fear, bias and racism against black people. And the odd thing is you are black. I was watching "Shanty Town" on Netflix this weekend. All Nigerians, must be these brutal hoodlums and ashawo right?. Because that is what I saw in a movie right? |
benalvino3:You don't know if those black people legally own the guns or are in gangs. What you saw is people with black skin holding guns and you have been socialized by whatever site you are continuously on to see that as scary. While white people with guns don't (like those White supremacists at the Charlottesville march you defended). |
CoolUsername:Yeah, really? Tell me what time frame you think black families would have been more successful in. Here are some dates and when significant things happened. The problem is a lot of people on this board don't know any history. 1857 - Dred Scott Case 1896 - Plessy v. Ferguson 1954 - Brown v. Board of Education, 1955 - Emmett Till killed 1955 - Rosa Parks 1963 - Martin Luther King - I have a Dream 1964 - Civil Rights Act 1965 - Voting Rights Act 1968 - Martin Luther King assasinated 2008 - Obama Becomes President |
CoolUsername:You looked at both pictures and assume people in one pic have prior convictions and the people in the other pic don't? Why is that? |
Honestly, why are people on this thread who aren't doctor's, pharmacists or don't work in the regulatory agency dispensing information about why this was or wasn't banned? Doctor's aren't infallible. It's your body and your health at the end of the day. The pharmacist's info does raise alarms whether true or not. Research it some more yourself and only listen to people here who actually know, not guessing. I had a similar experience in the US. A doctor recommended two drugs. The pharmacist filling it warned that there could be adverse affects if taken together. Spoke to a brilliant doctor friend of mine, who said, yeah you could have a heart attack if you had taken them both. She told me to have the doctor prescribe X instead. Spoke to the doctor and he wouldn't acknowledge he made a mistake, but said X was probably a better drug for me. Never saw him again. |
benalvino3:Ask yourself what year do you think black people were doing better than now? Give me a year. Why don't you contrast that picture with this one. This is the family of a sitting Congresswoman. What's the difference in the pics?

Basilico's posts in this thread are unreal. Do we actually know if he's a real life Black Nigerian. These posts are nauseating. |
On a broader note, given all the issues that the Nigerian police have, and given that in the US we are finally coming to the place where we are getting more accountability for the Police, why are some Nigerians here trying to claw that back by defending it? Very weird use of your time. It would seem you would try to use it as a springboard to try to get equal or even more accountability for the Security apparatus in Nigeria. When I'm in Nigeria, I stay at a hotel near the tollgate. So what happened there feels especially close to home. |
benalvino3:Interesting post. You acknowledge professionals can be biased. But you can't be? The issue isn't that he had fentanyl in his system, the issue is did he have enough in his system to cause death. The answer was no, so that "but" is very important. Anyhow, I was impressed with the qualifications of the prosecution expert witness, in fact I may be wrong (long time ago) but I believe he wrote some of the learning material (textbook) that the defense expert witness learned from. |
Republican leader admitting trying to crash the supply chain and the US economy right before Christmas.
|
benalvino3:Listen, you're not arguing with me, you are arguing with medical professionals who were qualified as expert witnesses who testified in court. Maybe you can call them, or Chauvin's defense team, present your qualifications and explain to them why they were wrong. You should hurry, I believe there is a current appeals hearing and they may need your help. |
benalvino3:They had testimony from a couple of medical experts in their fields. They testified that 1.) A healthy person would have died in the same circumstances that Floyd was in. 2.) The amount of drugs in his system did not effect the outcome. You are welcome to present your expert qualifications to refute these doctors. Again all of this is in the trial. |
CoolUsername:Really? Then why the post? The Medical Examiner testified. Dr Martin Tobin testified. Both contrary to what your post tried to imply. |

This thread though. Someone who posts here who is on probably on his 10+ username (keeps getting banned), posts post after post letting the forum know when/where he's supposedly "traveling", posts that he's drinking Hennessey w/ while partying with Big Boys in Abuja and London (while still finding time to post on this forum), posts pics of women who he claims he is sleeping with for money, posts tales of the 3k ashawo he's slept with in the begger's thread(apropos topic name), posts telling other guys he will fux them up the a$$, posts telling women he will fux their mothers and sisters, posts attempting to troll people repeatedly, and after this post will probably post 100 more rage filed posts, is now talking about someone else posting because they were once bullied and seeking attention? Holy lack of self-awareness. |
CoolUsername:This post is contrary to the evidence and Expert witnesses who testified in the trial. I think you should go watch/re-watch the trial. Not going to redebate this trial here. But most of this post is wrong. Here is a good article to start: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/08/us/george-floyd-breath-oxygen.html |
adamusuleiman1:BS charge. Over Charged. They charged him because who he is. Again, "Liberals" get shafted to make a point they aren't being biased. And in turn are biased. |
benalvino3:Their platform is designed to censor people. Hence the repeated bans. Their site is not designed to prevent those without shame and seemingly a life from waking up every morning putting on a VPN and creating a new moniker. Honestly, when did being a troll become a badge of honor? |
adamusuleiman1:She's a phony. Can't wait till she loses. She can make her point about her belief that the filibuster is necessary. But then to argue that somehow because we actually had an election with a violence free presidential transition(that is what we have to celebrate now) that that makes it fair and representative and so we don't need a voting rights bill, is nonsense and not in the spirit of MLK. The fact that people wait in line hours to vote and that there are gerrymandered districts means it is not fair nor representative. She's the perfect Republican's Democrat. The type that washes away all their sins by continuously saying both parties are the same, therefore Republican craziness isn't exceptional. False equivalencies. |
Donjazet2:When does regulation become over regulation? But China's efficiency in getting things done vs the US is more a debate over Democracies vs autocracies. Every 4 years we have new elections which may usher in a new leader with new priorities. China has a leader for life who directs what he thinks should be the national priority for as long as he is alive. And we also have an incalcitrant Republican party which doesn't seemed interested in actually governing. I keep asking people what legislation Republicans have passed int he last 20 years that have helped America. Also, part of China's success is it's low standard of living compared to developed countries. When it's citizens decide they longer want to work as modern day slaves, that'll effect China's manufacturing industry and Chinas pocket book. |
