Bishop Obinim who addressed members of his church recently, bragged that he has performed more miracles that Jesus Christ. The controversial founder and leader of International God’s Way Church who stated that he has performed lots of angelic and spiritual things that beats the canal mind, added that no Prophet in the Bible has done miraculous things that he has been able to do because they all had different directions or path.


According to him, Jesus Christ only transformed himself three times and He(Jesus) said his followers will do more than he did because his life was short lived on Earth.Bishop Obinim who preached at the Kumasi branch of his Church, said he has performed more miracles than Jesus Christ because he has enough time.

He said; ”Jesus said ‘the Miracles am performing, the wonders and the signs; Those who believe in me, you can perform more than that’.Jesus was making reference to this that he didn’t have enough time so he curtailed his time. He worked for about 3 and a half years then he left but those of us now we have more time. I Angel Obinim, I have worked for so many years more than that of my father and the miracles, the angelic performances, the wonders and signs that I have performed; they are countless because I have enough time.”

Arrested Lagos gay Pastor, Ezuma Chizemdere, reportedly tried to sexually molest a suspect with whom he was kept with in a police cell. The suspect the arrested gay Pastor tried to molest Lagos State Police Command headquarters cell in Ikeja, raised an alarm and threatened to beat him up if he goes ahead with it.

The incident made policemen on duty to relocate him to another cell and kept an eye on him till the next morning.“All the policemen on duty that night were amazed when the suspect complained that the pastor wanted to molest him. The Lagos State government on Tuesday  re-arraigned four ex-SARS officers before the state High Court, for abuse of office. The four dismissed officers attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the state Police Command were identified as  Sergeants Adeoye Adekunle, Adeniran Adebowale, Agbi Lucky and Odighe Hehosa and they were arraigned on three counts bordering on conspiracy and abuse of office by public officers. 

The four ex-SARS officers who were re-arraigned by the Lagos State Government for abuse of office, however pleaded not guilty to the charges.  The suspects, who were dismissed based on the outcome of an investigation into a petition written against them by one Mr Chukwudi Odionye, popularly referred to as Bishop, on May 2, 2018, were  granted bail in the sum N500,000 each with two sureties in like sum.

Dr Faisal Shuaib, the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) who spoke at an event organised by his agency in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and other development partners of the agency in Abuja, disclosed that 2,300 children die daily in Nigeria.Presenting his agency's  approach towards achieving reduction in maternal and child maternity rate at the primary health care and community levels in the country, the NPHCDA boss also said 145 women died daily from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth in the country. Punch reported he likened the number of deaths to having 16 plane crashes daily in Nigeria with no survivors.

He said the women and children that died daily in Nigeria hardly made the headlines because it often occurred in poor and vulnerable communities, stressing that the Federal Government’s target was to reduce the deaths by half by the year 2021.Dr Faisal Shuaib who revealed that 2,300 children die daily in Nigeria said at the event;

“One out of 10 children under five years old that dies in the world is a Nigerian and one out of every eight Nigerian children dies before his or her fifth birthday.“Having noted the high rate of maternal, newborn and under-five child mortality and the insufficiency of our current efforts to reverse the trend, I hereby declare a state of public health concern on maternal, newborn, and child deaths occurring at the primary health care and community levels.”

Hostel mates of the late FUTO students who died during a Foursome sex, have disclosed that they recovered the male victim on top of their female colleague.According to Chibuike Oguoma, while a male victim was recovered on top the female colleague, another male, also a victim, was found in the bathroom holding a soap.

Speaking to Punch's correspondent, Oguoma revealed that the caretaker of the hostel alerted them to the ugly development. According to the undergraduate, the sudden death of the three students was devastating.

 “It was the caretaker who called and when we went to the room, we found one of the boys on top of the girl. He was already dead. The other one was found dead in the bathroom. A driver identified as Abiodun Mathew allegedly molested a four-year-old pupil at UNILAG Women Society  Nursery and Primary School, Akoka, Lagos. The Lagos State Police Command who confirmed that it has commenced investigation into the alleged sexual abuse, said the incident allegedly occurred in the school premises. The driver who allegedly molested the four-year-old pupil at the UNILAG Women Society School, usually pick two other pupils at the school after closing hours on the instruction of their parents.

It was alleged that he became close a teacher at the school, identified as Charity Madumere, who sometimes left the pupils in his care. The victim’s father, Ade, who is a lecturer at UNILAG, said he had noticed the closeness of the driver to the teacher and complained to the school authorities. According to him, it was during this time that the driver molested his daughter who is a kindergarten pupil. 

Punch gathered that Matthew, the class teacher, the assistant class teacher and the supervisor were arrested and detained at the Sabo Police Station. They were reportedly released on bail, as it was alleged that the school was trying to cover up the case in order to protect its image.It was however gathered that the suspects were re-arrested on the directive of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Zubairu Mu’azu.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, said the CP had directed that the case be transferred to the Gender Unit of the command for further investigation.“Four suspects were arrested in connection with the case. They are Abiodun Matthew, Charity Madumere, Olubukunola Oyinlola and Esther Olawale. The suspects are in custody and the CP has directed the gender unit to take over the investigation,” he stated.

A Nigerian soldier who was tried by the Theatre Command Special Court Martial sitting in Maiduguri, Borno State, has been dismissed for raping and assaulting a 14-year-old female internally displaced person (IDP).The soldier who was dismissed for raping and assaulting a 14-year-old female IDP was identified as flight lieutenant Martins Owerrem, and he was charged with three counts of disobedience to standing order, assault, and defilement.

President of the Court, Major General Yakubu Auta who delivered judgement on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, disclosed that the accused testified that he slapped, dragged and inserted his finger into the private parts of the victim. He ruled;

"In view of this, the honourable court is convinced that the accused person defiled the girl. On count three, the accused testified that he slapped and dragged the victim, and also confessed that he inserted his finger into her private parts."The finding of this honourable court clearly shows that you are guilty on counts 1 and 3, but on the second count charge, the court finds you not guilty."

Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the court order for his arrest after his revoked bail, issued yesterday by a Federal High Court which sat in Abuja. In a live broadcast on Radio Biafra last night, Kanu said he was compelled to make the broadcast because of what his “enemies” are plotting against him. But he insisted that his perceived enemies will not prevail because light is on his side.
