Bishop Obinim has vowed to appear in the dreams of anyone who insult him intentionally or unintentionally on the social media platforms. According to the Ghanaian Pastor, those behind troll comments against him are bound to see him in their dreams because he has not done anything to deserve that kind of treatment. Bishop Obinim who claims to have wined and dined with archangel Gabriel warned social media users who insult him on Facebook, Twitter , Instagram and other social media platforms that he will appear in their dreams if they do not desist.

“The more you insult me, the more I love you. Even if you write any bad comment about me I still love you and will reveal myself to you in your dreams either this afternoon or in the night”, he disclosed in his latest video.

“Go ahead and insult me on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram more than anyone else, what I can assure you is that I certainly appear in your dreams and there is no doubt about that”, he warned. “If you hear that anyone is insulting me in Ghana, tell the person Angel Obinim loves him and that he will appear in his dreams”.

A Twitter user who took a swipe at Yoruba demons in her tweets, stated that 'by the time a Yoruba man is done with you, you'll question your sanity' as she listed some of her 'modus operandi'.According to the lady, what makes Yoruba men the worst is that they are not simply satisfied with sleeping with you or cheating on you, but will also want you to fall in love, to obsess over them and to hand over everything that is you.

A 23-year-old man who killed his father for stepping on his iPhone during a boozy house party, has been arrested by the police. The arrested suspect, Leng Huon who killed his 50-year-old father, Leng Sao after a night of drinking and playing loud music with friends at the family home, reportedly dropped his iPhone on the ground just outside the house in  Prey Veng Province in Southern Cambodia.

However after his father who could not sleep came out and mistakenly stepped on the phone, he shouted at him and he in turn kicked his son in the back during the argument over the phone. Local police Captain Chuon Samnang said “the son was angry with the father for stepping on his phone and breaking it and also for kicking him,” he said. “He then took the axe and hacked his father on the head, neck and chest, instantly killing him". 

Cap Samnang said that the man who fled from the house after he killed his father for stepping on his iPhone, was arrested by commune police at about 3am on Saturday.He added that after his arrest, police seized an axe from him before taking him in for questioning at the district police office.

Actor Prince David Osei, has taken a swipe at gays and lesbians who according to him are engaging in practice their parents never engaged in. 

The Ghanaian actor who has through his various social media handles attacked Ghanaians who describe themselves as a part of the LGBT society, stated that he finds it very heartbreaking that humans who were brought into the world by their parents through 'heterosexual sex' will decide to engage in intimacy with the same gender whiles they are very aware they will never be able to procreate as their parents did for them.

Prince David Osei in his attack directed at gays and lesbians, further told them to stop the nonsense and ‘nkwasiasem’ (foolishness) because there is no moral sense and justification for this insane behavior they are happily putting up. He wrote in his post;

Yakubu Gowon, Nigeria's former Head of State and his wife, Victoria Gowon celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, an even that had family members and loved ones in attendance. Yakubu Gowon and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding in Abuja at the Silk Road Restaurant Abuja. Daniel Amokachi, a former Nigerian International also attended the private dinner.

General Yakubu "Jack" Dan-Yumma Gowon was a former military head of state of Nigeria from 1966 to 1975. He was born on the 19th of October 1934. He took power after one military coup d'état and was overthrown in another.  As a war leader, on April 19, 1969, while Nigerian soldiers and civilians were dying in a civil war, General Yakubu Gowon was getting married in Lagos. He got married at the age of 34 to his sweetheart, Victoria. He was the only bachelor to become Head of State and the only leader to get married in office.

The Sri Lanka Easter blasts has killed 160 people so far in churches and hotel and also left many others severely wounded. Sri Lanka's capital Colombo has been hit by at least two new blasts, hours after the country was struck by a series of six bombings on churches and hotels. The seventh explosions occurred at a hotel near the national zoo in the capital, killing at least two more people, police said, while an eighth blast hit the suburb of Orugodawatta in the north of Colombo. There were no further details on what was targeted, police said.

Most victims of the Sri Lanka Easter Blasts were killed in three churches where worshippers were attending Easter Sunday services. Three other bombings struck luxury hotels - the Cinnamon Grand, Kingsbury and Shangri-La - located in the heart of Colombo, killing at least 35 foreigners.The first explosion was reported in a church located in the capital. The other blasts followed within half an hour.One of the churches targeted was St Anthony's Shrine in Colombo. The other two were St Sebastian's in Negombo, about 30km from the capital and another in Batticaloa, 250km east of the capital.


These are the first major attacks since the end of the civil war 10 years ago. According to local reports, the blasts in hotels and churches in different parts of the country occurred at around 8.45 am (local time) as the Easter Sunday masses were in progress in churches.Here are more photos below;

Jarrell Miller failed his second drug test, and this led to his fight with Anthony Joshua at Madison Square Garden on June 1 being called off. The American boxer was expected to fight IBF, WBA, and WBO champion Joshua before an “adverse finding” from a sample taken on March 20.  Miller was denied a licence for the 1 June bout following the findings, and he disclosed that he intends to appeal against the decision to revoke his licence.

Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, who confirmed that Jarrell Miller failed his second drug test stated that the fight was off. “We have now received news from VADA that Jarrell Miller has now failed a second separate test for a further substance. AJ’s June 1 opponent will be announced next week – if you don’t think you can beat him clean then delete my number!” Hearn wrote on Twitter.

He further disclosed that a new opponent for British IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion Joshua will be announced next week.

Abayomi Shogunle who spoke on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force, has advised Nigerians not to speak Queen's English to police officers.

Sharing a video of Police Commander, Tunji Disu advising police officers on police brutality, ACP Abayomi Shogunle who is in charge of Nigeria Police Public Complaint Response Unit (PPCRU), advised Nigerians not to speak Queen’s English to police officers in order to avoid having any problem with them. Igho Sanomi, a Nigerian billionaire has forfeited his private jet and 3 London homes to a Swiss bank over a $3million debt.The Nigerian billionaire was guarantor for a credit facility extended to one of his companies by Credit Suisse Group AG, the Swiss bank.  It was further gathered that another bank,  Banque Cantonale de Geneva has already made a freezing order against the London properties, just as ING Groep NV filed a suit against Sanomi for Taleveras’s unpaid debts.

A written submission to a London court last week by Andrew Brown, counsel to Credit Suisse, read in part;"Three properties owned by Sanomi, including apartments in Chelsea, West London, and Belgravia, in the heart of London’s diplomatic quarter, have already been identified as assets that may have to be forfeited if he loses”.

Though lawyers of Igho Sanomi, the Nigerian billionaire who has forfeited his private jet and 3 London homes didn’t respond to request for comments but affirmed knowledge of the case, however the bank’s lawyer revealed that the billionaire “has not put in any defence or objection to the charging orders”.

Oba Abedina Durosimi, the Osolu of Irewe Kingdom in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, has revealed that traditional rulers and not Tinubu as speculated by many, opposed Ambode’s second term bid. According to Oba Abedina Durosimi, traditional rulers and not Tinubu opposed Ambode’s second term bid because he failed to carry them along in all of his administration’s plans and also concentrated development in a particular area in the state while neglecting others.

“Tinubu influences people; he does not force or intimidate people to do his wish. He has regards for traditional institutions in Lagos State. For instance, before any law is passed in Lagos State, they must bring it to the council of Obas which I’m a member for our assessment before it is taken to the state House of Assembly and the executive for final approval.

“Tinubu is a team player. He sees Obas as fathers and before he takes any decision that will affect the people, he will consult the traditional rulers. For instance, when leaders of his party and other well-meaning Lagosians were against Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s second term bid, Tinubu consulted widely including traditional rulers and we said we didn’t want Ambode to have a second term.

“The people were against Ambode, because he concentrated development in Epe area where he comes from. Ambode undermined the Lagos State master plan. We Obas opposed Ambode’s second bid not Tinubu. How can the governor abandon other areas and concentrate development in one area? That was why we said we didn’t want him to continue.”

Actor Yinka Quadri's aide, Oluwafemi Lawrence Oyedokun, has been arrested for impersonating King Sunny Ade to defraud many.The suspect who was arrested alongside two others, defrauded many of millions after he opened a fake Instagram and Twitter accounts with the handle @kingsunnyademusic to advertise a fake U.S and U.K musical tour. The 27-year-old man was arrested alongside his girlfriend, Rebecca Oyebode, 23, and his friend, Oyewunmi Abiodun Ridwan, 27.

NewsmakersNG reported that Yinka Quadri's aide absolved the actor of any complicity in the crime, as it was further gathered that he raked in millions by impersonating King Sunny Ade. The veteran singer who reacted to report of the arrest said;“People were always calling my number that they heard I was organising a tour. Omotola Jalade has replied Nigeria's Presidency, after it debunked her comment of Nigeria is hellish under Buhari and Osinbajo and further insinuated that she is not working for clean money. 

Recall that Bashir Ahmed, a media aide to the President who replied Omotola on behalf of the Presidency, debunked claims that Nigeria is hellish under Buhari. He tweeted in response; 

Madam Omotola those who are working for CLEAN money are not complaining and will never refer our dear country as ‘hellish’. In Kano State alone, from 2015 to 2018, no fewer than 200 medium and small scale rice milling centres emerged. For that, billions circulated among millions.
