You need to get to a General Hospital as soon as possible. It sounds like your Adam's Apple is going to explode (which is logically impossible). Don't visit a quack otherwise you might loose your voice box. Good luck ![]() |
At this point, most Nigerians don't know what Nanotechnology is much more it's application. Do you intend to live and work in Nigeria after acquiring the degree? Think again. Nigeria is still a long way from appreciate this spectacular course. People who studied Chemical Engineering hasn't gotten a job, what do you think will happen to you? Anyway, if you're willing or can gain admission into a reputable Western university, go for it. The course is pretty good and holds a lot of keys to the future of science. You would have to make exceptional results for adequate employment but it'd have to be in the Western world. Good luck. |
Okay. I'm very interested in why and how this guy got banned. I know it's a lot of work to moderate a site this huge with this many people, but you don't want people to get a certain perception about the site. |
Why is he even interested? People like him shouldn't even consider things like this. Normally, people who have have led the country in a manner he and OBJ has done should not consider ruling again. What's with the leaders of this country and not refusing to let go of power? |
No. You are not required to be a SAN before you're appointed a judge. But it is expected that you become a SAN before becoming a judge of most superior courts. Just like it is expected for a Minister be very knowledgable about his portfolio. |
Fynestboi: are my able barristers, philosopher on strike to or what?I checked in yesterday, but the topic on ground was...well, I didn't feel like it. I guess it's getting kinda boring ![]() |
In criminal cases, if you cannot afford a lawyer, the court will appoint a lawyer for you, like a public defender. But in civil cases, you do not have the right to a court-appointed lawyer so, if you cannot afford your own lawyer, you have to represent yourself. Some people choose to represent themselves even if they could pay a lawyer because they feel they can handle the case on their own. In small claims cases, you are not allowed to have a lawyer, so everyone in small claims court is representing himself or herself. |
lana_Vello: is this thread dying or wahOff the top of my head, yes. There was this weird case a few years ago in California, when someone who was accused to terrorising people in a bus acted as his own counsel. A lot of the witnesses found it eerie that he was interrogating them on a crime he was charged with. |
There's an ocean of difference between what we want and what we can have. Living a good life is finding the point where both wants, needs and resources meet. It sounds like the aviation stuff is still a probability, you still have to study and get certificates. That sounds like a lot of variables to me. It seems you're making enough from what you're doing now. It isn't going to kill you if you stick to it. Are you married? I don't know how old you are, but maybe it's past time to starting chasing pavements. Meanwhile, you are already feeling like you should have done that. And I think that you'll always wonder what it'd be like if you went into aviation. I can't make the decision for you. But I would stick to what I'm doing now. It's somewhat like the civil service right? Anyway, wishing you luck ![]() |
I don't know how and why people would expect Flavor to adopt his mother and son. He isn't related to MC, I'm not even aware of what their relationship was like. So it's wrong to ask Flavour to take up MC's obligations. I expect that he donated the rewards from the tribute to the family but apart from that, what else do you want him to do? He has his own family and problems. This is why we should cultivate saving and planning for insurance. |
I iron clothes that I go to school or occasions with once I wash them and they dry up. So this means I often wear ironed clothes. But when there's no electric power, I can wear them like that . |
FWB = Friends With Benefits |
As it is now, if you say anything but YES, she's going to angry with you. You need to say no and be firm about it. Don't sugar coat it all. Good luck. |
What a load of crap. I don't believe this at all. This is coming from the same guy that claims that people become good or bad based on how their mother treats them when they're toddlers. Lol. |

I'll get back to you on that. @ Nigellius |
I wanted to explain myself but it'd be futile since I'd only confuse you. |
Nigellus_Hosan: niceI was already an atheist before I read Da Vinci. Lol |
Nigellus_Hosan: Give A Rough Estimate Of Books/Novels You ReadI love reading. It's my second favourite thing (just slightly knocked out by Music). I'm not sure when I started reading but I'm certain that in my Primary Two I've already started reading without moving my lips. My mom was the first person who introduced me into reading (I'll explain later). She bought me my first novel : The Fruit of Honesty. It's by a Nigerian author whose name I've forgotten. The book was precious to me. It was the sweetest book I've ever read (well, at least, for a while them ). I think I finished it in three days because I had juggle reading with school which dismissed at four and my chores as an only child. The next Saturday, she got me another book: The Village School. Anyway, it became a ritual that she bought at least one new novel for me every week. I read Things Fall Apart in my Primary Six.In Junior Secondary, life took a turn and due to some circumstances I stopped reading novels. But fast forward to my JSS 3, I visited my mom's family during the holidays and it was then I was inducted again. This time, by my aunt. She's like five years older than I am and we're somewhat of a kindred spirit. I'm naturally curious and one day when they left me alone in the house, I discovered her book stacks. I was like I've struck gold. She reads Harlequin so during the holidays I got an overdose of romance, suspense and sex. It was also during this time that I discovered music (I fell head over heels for Alicia Keys' Fallin) and another source of excitement *grins* Anyway, I "borrowed" some of her novels and read them while writing my Junior WACE. During the holidays, I immensed myself into reading novels, spending whatever money I could squeeze from my savings into buying or exchanging from the post office. In my SSS1 I discovered Robin Cook and Laura Joh Rowland. Between my SS1 and SS3 I must have read close to 150 books. My favorite books of all time? Watchers by Dean Koonz, All Around The Town by Mary Higgins Clark, Abduction by Robin Cook, The Other Side of Midnight by Sidney Sheldon, The Perks of Being A Cauliflower and Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. I don't have any favorite Nigerian novels. The only that's ever made me cry is The Perks of Being A Cauliflower. Largest Book has to be Dreamcatcher by Stephen King. Dreadfully boring, I must say. Some of the most significant stories I've read came from this super site that hosts stories for people like me. At time when I had my head in a cloud and the whole thing didn't make sense, the stories and people there helped me find myself. I can read 120k words novels in a day or two, depending on my schedule, how much I like the book and stuff. I LOVE suspense, mystery, and yes, thrillers. I guess that's why I have Koonz, Cook, Clark, Sheldon, and Brown's books in stacks ![]() |
Deiok: And the answer is ?Second Prime Minister |
Why I think Nigeria is hopeless- We didn't hear anything about the punishment for the people who did this hideous thing. The community leader and his cohorts weren't charged to court, were did? Where is the justice? |
Have you checked your device's memory? |
