I'm really interested in the responses you'd get (albeit for a whole different reason). Following. |
Who says that? Anyway, I don't have roles models (in Jenifa's voice). My father is the last person I would even consider as one. |
mantop7: My wife takes me for granted especially cos am not too financially bouyant, though am working towards getting mysef out of the mess seriously. She feels so free to deal with her ex boy friends even in my presence by encouraging dem to call her even at home. I have warned her on many occassions to stop that irresponsible nd disrespectful idea bur she wont listen. Now i want to really know how important am i to her by ignoring her totally. I dont want to cheat on her cos am trying to practise true xtianity. Pls intelligent nd experienced nairalanders help me out.Ignoring her isn't going to solve this. Based on what you've told us, I can deduce that she would kind of like it if you ignore her. I don't know if it was always like this, but if it wasn't, can you deduce when things changed and what changed things? What I would suggest is that alter how you treat her. Be complacent. Do the best you can to be a good husband and avoid confrontations that might lead to a fight. Be romantic. Suprise her more often with good gestures. Sometimes, it takes being a follower to be a good leader. Don't become her pet, but don't strive to be her Master either. Finally, have a talk WITH her. Be calm about it. Ask her what her grievances is and tell her yours, then work towards solving those problems. If there's any development, I'd like to be abreast. Good luck. |
Anybody? |

Vivly: Too much protocol wears people out. Most people have settled forgood that you said most. Cos I want Hezron in there. |
johnnyblakes: wat if u ve date for years and u r not sure if he is going to propose anytime soon and age is not waitin for,dnt u think its wise to propose and no ur stand? There are subtle ways I can prompt him to propose. Occasionally, hinting about marriage and weddings is usually a good idea. Moreover, at some stage of our relationship we must have discussed marriage (I'm using this medium to encourage everybody to have this talk with their boyfriends if their relationship has gone past three years) so I can work this from a certain angle. |
Try by Nelly Furtado |
It's a good idea, but it would be costly to operate and that means increase in price which is not a good thing for a business like this. People will gauge between the price of the healthy food you're offering and the obviously cheaper ones in the public market, and being Nigerians, most of them will chose the public market over your genuis idea. |
It isn't exactly wrong if a girl proposes. It's just unusual. Anyway, I for one would find it difficult to propose . |
The truth is that our police force is crap. Most of them have not regard for human rights and some even have no regard for human life. They believe that as the enforcers of the law, they're above the law. Which is why they beat up people anyhow. And the citizenry isn't helping matters. They continue to submit to this maltreatment. What hurts me the most is that the police upholds no valid due process. In fact, I've never seen them get something right rightly. It is ridiculous that the police could be "hired" to arrest someone and without due warrant. It is assauling that they shoot at people without answering queries. In fact, our police force needs over hauling. |
Are debaters being nominated already? If so, I'm keen on joining. (though I thought that was going to start on the 16th) |
I know what you mean, but you see, when you signed the documents that made your brother a student of the school, you agreed to all their rules. Anyway, how did it go? |
Well, personally: First Date = Restaurant Second Date = Movie Third Date = Park or My apartment |
Lol. This is funny because most of you don't even understand the agreement. You see, the government was supposed to deposit a certain number of billions into the education (universities) sector every year. Note, the money won't be given to ASUU directly, but to the universities through the Educational Trust Fund. Why they're demanding for the figure in trillions now is because the Federal Government has defaulted in its payment of the agreed sum since 2009. So the 1.3 trillion is actually the cumulative sum that the government is owing as concerned with the agreement. ASUU didn't pull this amount out of their ass, they're just demanding that the government fulfill it's obligations UP TO DATE. |
I've never asked girls out before. But the two times I've tried asking guys out... *shudders* Anyway, I think the first thing you need is a plan. Girls are different, so figure out how best to approach the one in particular. It is always go to gauge her reaction before approaching though. Hold her attention and see if she holds hers too. If she does, smile (yes) and if she smiles back, thats usually a good signal to approach. When you approach, cool down and talk to her. She already kinda likes you which is why she smiled back. Ignite a conversation and take your cue. It is usually great to start with a compliment or a soft joke. |
Despicable Me 2 - It's a good animation. Breaking Bad Man of Steel - if you haven't watched it. Pain and Gain Gravity Oblivion And finally, the best Brad Pitt movie till date, World War Z. |
Things like this don't usually end well for one (remember The Twilight Saga?). Let me illustrate, Jane has a friend named John that leaves next door. They often play together, go to the same school and stuff. But Jane also has a secret toy. John doesn't know about this toy so she only plays with in secret. One day she is going to out grow that toy. But she'll always be friends with John. You are the toy. She's just using you. You have no future with her. She's just going to use you and then dump you (eventually). I suggest you call off this relationship (I'm using the word lightly, because she isn't even your girlfriend). Tell her you aren't interested anymore. And then find a suitable, lovely girl that deserves your love (and body). Good luck. |
Samoranopapa: okay wat of an issue whereby ur mum,u,nd ur GF re lawyers,nd unfortunately ur GF is been accused of killing ur own bro nd charged to court nd ur mum is standing 4 the govt,nd u re standing 4 ur GF.ow will u go through it ?(nd ur GF is insisting dat she want u as her lawyer)To the best of my knowledge, the law doesn't prohibit you from representing your lover. But you should know the the opposing counsel could use your relationship with her as a weapon against you. |
Fynestboi: Get your pens ready...I'm interested in the debate. Just waiting for the 16th when the nomination starts. |
Her solution? Shame. Yes, she must wake up. This isn't a time to become a vegetable. Whatever respect she has this man should have evaporated. She MUSTN'T behave as if this DIDN'T HAPPEN. It DID HAPPEN and She must be cautious, at least for the time being. It's not good to tell her mother now. It would be weird and might complicate things further. But if it even remotely happens again, she should tell her mother. She should ask her father about the help he's getting and if it's been helpful. And then observe. Not just his answer, but how he answers it. If she sees true repentance, she can them forgive him. Finally, she should be cautious. (Did I say that before? Well, I'm saying it again) |
Capableben: unn still dey attract me o. eventhough i dey FUTY. AND not in my passionate dept even.Very hard. |
Skykid1208: Can u pls teach me how to hack nokia c3Pls, what exactly is hack? |
A year. UNN played me. Anyway, I got into Industrial Mathematics the next year. Now, I'm Law. |
The mother should go. All her duties as a make shift mother should cease as soon as possible. There was this movie, The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. When the woman and her husband leaves, this woman (who's their nanny) would brain wash their children and even breast feed the new baby. My point is, this woman is getting to dependent on her mother and soon, the baby will start seeing her as the mother and his real mother as the nanny. So she should get a nanny. What kind of work does she do? She might take the baby to work? Or register it into a credible daycare center. |
clevadani: Tnks 4 ur advice @illuminatusYou learn by doing. You need to visit these places. Even if they don't patronize you, they might you valuable advice. Moreover, what's the worse thing that can happen? |
Lol. I thought this was just me. Well, good to know that some other people can't connect to their Facebook gateways too. I don't know what's happening, maybe their agreement with Facebook has expired. |
Samoranopapa: hummm I don't but I think as a professional lawyer defendin himself in a court of law will give him a chance to win the case. Note:am still a learnerOne of the requirements of being a good lawyer is OBJECTIVITY. As an accused (or even the plantiff), you loose right of this. You become partial and may not be able to observe things as you should. (There's a reason why US detectives aren't allowed to solve crimes relating to them or their family). Yes, as a lawyer you can defend yourself, but I advice you (and any other person) to seek the counsel other lawyers and legal practisoners. |
Okay. I liked your first post because I think it's adorable that you've thought up something and really gone through with it. Now, your solution. Have you tried looking for marketers here? You might not know it, but this site is an excellent advertising forum. And then, I don't know about the flyers... What did they say? Maybe it should just say: Marketers needed for an edible product, or something. Using Pop Corn might scare these guys even before they actually see how cute it is. Take your commodity to super markets, stores and school canteens. You're your first marketer. Have you asked people you know to help you with the marketing? Aren't there guys in your street or stuff that can help? Finally, you're new to the business. It'll take sometime for you to break ground. P.S. I'm quite a distance from you. I would have loved becoming your permanent customer . |
omobajohn58: In view of the ongoing industrial action by ASUU...can any party to the strike be suedYes. You can charge them to court for that. But it'd be a waste of time. This isn't what the constitution means by denial of education. Now, if a lecturer or the uni stops you from getting education that you paid for (with no just reason), that's a different issue altogether. But interestingly, ASUU could have sued the FG for their reluctance to uphold the 2009 Agreement and they probably would have won, but it'd have very time consuming. |
Samoranopapa: hummm I lyk dat nd is a very intrestin thing to do as 4 me oooWhy would you find it interesting? Are you hoping to get charged with a case soon? ![]() |
