brain54:

I actually thought the flag wasn't real initially...

So I did a quick Google search.

Apparently it's real. And the red color on the flag they say represents the blood shed during their struggle for Independence. The black represents Africa as a whole. The gear, machete and star symbols represent the industrial, peasantry and socialism yellow.

The flag was designed in 1975!

Looks inspired by the Soviet Union

Career / Re: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by iLoveYouToo(m): 8:19am On Feb 03
Effulgent:

Go to stanbic o. Gtb will use work wound you, especially if you are in head office or marketing. The work culture in gtb is kinda not so good.

The bank is a tier one bank with do many customers, so your expect something like that.

Stanbic money is also better, at least the salary. But I know gtb has a lot of bonuses. Profit sharing, quaterly bonus and all. So far you are full staff.

Concerning job security, I don't think banks sack people anyhow like that, except say you did something bad o. Majorly banking sector has job security, so far you are full staff.

Overall, I would say you should go with stanbic.

Work no much for Stanbic, are you kidding me?
Politics / Re: Peter Obi Congratulates The Super Eagles by iLoveYouToo(m): 7:19am On Feb 03
SoNature:
This is something Tinubu, Atiku and Kwankwaso can never do - joining the supporters to cheer the Super Eagles. That's because they promote the elitist type of politics. In other words, they want people to fear them because they are powerful people. You will see them watching the match from the VIP section with a glass cover to show they are important.

On the other hand, Peter Obi is a free spirit who understands that a king doesn't beg to be respected and honoured because those come by default. He just sees positions are an opportunity to serve the people. He relates with them one on one to understand their latent needs and provide them. Nigérians who voted against Peter Obi in the last presidential election did other Nigerians and this country the greatest disservice of all time.

Congratulations to the Super Eagles...

It has more tendency to be counterproductive. Nigeria is a highly politically polarized nation. I rest my case anyways.

Politicians should leave these guys alone please, lets enjoy football in peace.

2027 will be interesting

NYSC / Re: FG To Reform NYSC, Float Special Bank For Youths by iLoveYouToo(m): 5:33am On Feb 03
Teymanhenry:

The bottom line is, to an extent degree is overrated for the average Nigerian. You can learn all these names skill without a degree

University education isn’t well administered in Nigeria, soon secondary schools will deteriorate too and then you’ll be required to have a Master’s degree for entry level jobs

Most jobs that require those skills still expect you to have a bachelor’s degree. A bachelors degree is a basic requirement.

I’d rather learn skills right after secondary school and pursue a University degree after than the opposite

Business / Re: Naira Rebounds As Banks Offload Excess Dollars by iLoveYouToo(m): 5:18am On Feb 03
Everybody knows it’s Aboki that’s ruining the Naira, Igbos buy dollars for transactional purposes, Aboki dey stash dollars for speculative purposes.

You see all those senators (serving and past) and big alhajis, it’s dollar business they’re doing.

We need to take our country back asap. Tinubu has a risky job to do, I just hope they don’t kill him

Mysterious is subjective, what might look mysterious to you, might not look mysterious to another person. Most of you here don't really understand or know the meaning of something being mysterious. Being weird, introverted, autistics is not mysterious.

Mysterious is mysterious, everything in life is subjective , the point here is simple - share what’s mysterious to you. That shouldn’t be so difficult to decipher.
