GerogeI: Story, If kogi people open the plant and block the roads nko? Move all dilapidated cars in kogi state to obajana. Set up picketing groups to shoot randomly and turn the place into a war zone. They will draft dodiers in, but no truck will move.
Alternatively, the state Government can quickly pass a law impossing a special tax on all cement (dangote) trucks for environmental degradation, with outrageous amount per truck(1,000,000). Setup a task force on every exit to legally detain the truck. That will bring him to the negotiation table fast. The fault remains with the government and those who made initial deals with Dangote when he bought Obajana. The problem with most Nigerians is shortsightedness. We pray, beg, lobby and sell ourselves cheap when looking for big companies, schools, universities etc. to come to our village. Instead of thinking big and into the future, we'll make silly selfish deals and myopic agreements. After, when the establishment is legally prospering, we start getting jealous and acting like witches and wizards. Dangote is not legally bound to do anything outside his cement plant except there's such an agreement. And i am so sure, there's a quota of his staff and contractors that must come from Kogi state and the local government. If you guys are tired, no problem. He'll close the place and you can live happily ever after. |

kestolove95: ready to dey pay ransom for ur staffs coz okla boys go dey kidnap dem Use your brain bro. Kogi state is better off with that cement plant in operation than closed. Your useless state government cannot run it and can't provide the income(both passive and active) generated. Your message to the world and private investors is that your state is not a good place for business. If you have issues, pick it up with your government or at worst go to court. |

Shoodboi: Can you fight a governor especially in circumstances like this? Even a president finds it hard to deal with a govenror, not to talk of a businessman. The governor should obtain common sense and do his work. Dangote is not in charge of building roads and hospitals in Kogi. |

icedbreez: Kudos to Yahaya Bello for standing up to the shylock and bully called Dangote, always hiding behind Govt to exploit people.
Not an easy feat. All these is Kogi State government responsibility. It's not the responsibility of Dangote to build roads, schools and hospitals. It's the government's agreement and responsibility. Dangote only has a duty of care, which is conscience not law. |

Tob456: Hey guys, my ex girlfriend is 7 months pregnant. She doesn't want to have anything to do with me cos I didn't want to carry the responsibility of her four sisters.
She is 24 orphen and the oldest of seven children. She is a fruit seller and the pregnancy wasn't plan she took in 6 months into the relationship but I have accepted the responsibility and I wanted to make her my wife.
First of all I wanted us to discussed about her sisters living arrangements after the wedding and she said she wanted to bring all four who are under 18 to live with us after the wedding and I rejected.
I suggested that the youngest two can live with us while the other two can stay with the aunty but she refused.
She said the relationship was over and she doesn't need me in her life that she will take care of the baby alone.
I've told her even if she doesn't want me in her life anymore she should not stop me from helping her financially because I want our baby to be born in good condition but she refused.
Last week I sent 30k to her account for baby stuffs and she sent the money back to me saying she doesn't need a kobo from me she will take care of the baby alone.
I want to leave her alone but it is hard for me to do so cos she is carrying my child. It will not be easy for me to give up easily I just want to be a part of my daughter life. What do you guys think please? Why did you also commit fornication and impregnate someone that you have not settled to marry? Keep your money and fulfill your dues when it is needed for the child. Try to document your efforts for future reference. |

ppogba: There is no sellout anywhere. Supply in excess of demand. Very simple. Remember, there is the NHS and other regulatory agencies to monitor the situation in England but believe me, when the opportunity presents itself such as having excess supply of doctors, even the "system" will turn blind eye. Indeed. A problem only happening to Africans, newly recruited, especially Nigerians. Augustine says he was so excited to be offered a job that he barely looked at the NES contract. In fact, it opted him out of legislation that protects UK workers from excessive working hours - the Working Time Directive - and left him vulnerable to a range of punishing salary deductions. We have these guys parading as agents in Nigeria for people in healthcare for instance. They pay them much money and make them sign ridiculous greedy agreements where they deduct thousands of pounds in exchange for Visa processing etc. Na today? |

There's likely a sellout from a so called fellow African. The scenario happens often, even in Nigeria. The experienced Nigerians over there will tell the oyinbos not to pay so much, that they have people who will do the job for less. |

CSTRR: You are just a mindless hater.
If there is anybody at all with a precedence of fighting corruption and combating waste, it is Peter obi.
Is it his financial prudence in his 8yrs as governor, or the glowing recommendation from the current director general of the world trade organization who said "he was the only one among all the rest of the governors" who stood for savings and prudence".
Fashola and co wanted to share it all.
The fact that we had a sovereign wealth fund at all was in no small part due to Peter obi. Btw, the sovereign wealth fund have been lavished to zero by the Buhari govt.
This election is between good and evil. Not between better and best.
Even the blind can see it. i hope you're not one of those shouting on religious lines for Christian not to vote Muslim because this your lie makes devils jealous. Sovereign wealth fund is not new and people have been having it for over 100 years. NOI complained about FG not saving. Governors including Obi took FG to court because FG was spending the savings alone. Not because Obi wanted to save. All the governors, headed by PDP's own Ameachi wanted FG to share the money with them(state government). Stinginess is different from savings. Obi is a stingy man, which is not good for any economy. Savings is different from stinginess. Obi is a wicked evil man who used state funds to empower his family business in the name of investment/savings. |

owobokiri: You should be calming down ahbegii! Obi actually opened the pandora box on illegal oil theft in Nigeria and how it's done Obi emphatically accused those in government of being solely responsible for Oil theft since it's highly impossible for ordinary folks to coordinate the logistics involved! He was categorical and he gave his valid reasons as to why he believes that those in government are the ones responsible.
Until he made that accusation, the Lagos ibadam expressway section of Nigerias press has been pushing the narrative suggesting that "Oil bunkering " is like common robbery by ordinary thieves. What Obi did was to expose Nigerians to what was going on. It was an eye opener for millions. People now know what happens with Oil vessels in the high seas . There's no box opened brother, only an ignorant person will think/assume oil theft/bunkering is like burgling a home. It was the same way Buhari was accusing everyone about corruption, subsidies, Nigeria Airways, NEPA, refinery etc. It's very easy to point accusing fingers. Obi has no precedence to show he can do any better. He was just in PDP, buying 50million form, a couple of months ago for God's sake. Rest and think abeg. |
