LordReed: Tell that to the millions more celebrating and to God when you meet Him. "On other people's graves it is written, 'Here lies so-and-so,' but on Christ's tomb it is recorded, 'He is not here.'" “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen — not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” #Easter |
LordReed: Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega of spiritual. He is the proof of resurrection and Heaven that you can get. Like i said, you will otherwise have to wait for the AFTERlife. |
LordReed:Jesus Christ. |
LordReed:The evidence you can get will be spiritual and biblical, otherwise you have to get into the AFTERlife. |
LordReed:Lol, Jesus Christ chose to go to church. i follow Him. |
Janosky:First thing we might be agreed on. ![]() |
LordReed:The bold is the crux of your ignorance which is understandable. You can't understand the spiritual by only physical senses. There has been many recoveries and resurrections after death or no brain activity. We are celebrating one, aren't you? The Bible clearly reveals that the physical cannot inherit the spiritual. So how does it make sense for you to be monitoring the body to determine Heaven? It's a hearty joke. It's as absurd as monitoring your village roads to see Biden pass. He's not going to pass that place and you will never get data there. So why give tentative conclusions from absurd readings? |
LordReed:Lol, number one, Paul's epistles are taken as God's Word. Jesus Christ did not take only His spoken words as God's word. Also, Hebrews which you likely refer to as Paul's saying is also part of the inspired scriptures. Number two, i didn't even refer to Hebrews or Paul but to the Psalms where i quoted that "I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord." Seems you forgot the verse as you initially looked fazed. It has been the practice of the patriarchs even from the Old testament to be in church. Number three, Jesus Christ our perfect and personal example didn't miss church. Ever heard that He is with us where we are gathered? It seems your Bible knowledge is rusty, all these is basic. |
Janosky:Who cares if his theology is correct? Who that one help? You think people inherit God's kingdom based on their knowledge of the correct day Jesus died? Comedian. |
LordReed:What is your tentative evidence? |
LordReed:Do Bible patriarchs believe other things apart from God? They all went to church, Jesus being number one in church. |
LordReed:What is the tentative evidence? This is the biggest joke of Easter, tentative evidence. Na my own no be tentative abi? ![]() |
LordReed: Where do you get this thinking from? Definitely not from the Bible. i am glad when they say, let's go to the house of the Lord. |
The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. Don't let any pastor or member blackmail or manipulate you into not relocating. It happens everytime. Pastors don't want their members to relocate and members don't want their pastors to relocate or be relocated. |
These ones don't know or have why Jesus died. They are just full of theology. |
LordReed:That's why it is called AFTERlife duh. Depending on what you call evidence, do you have any evidence that there is no afterlife? You simply believe what you read right? |
LordReed:Seems that's why i initially said "This is 100% different from what you quoted though". But then you went on to talk about belief. i believe in God, nothing else. Only believe, Jesus only. Hebrews 12v1,2. |
LordReed:Again your thoughts. It is the reality of many millions for thousands of years. Ever read Galatians 2v20? many people live in that reality. What exactly is this so called objective reality that some learned people argue doesn't exist? People are living for 20, 50, 80, 300 years in this reality and you are conveniently thinking it doesn't exist? What we have seen and handled, lol, you are telling me it doesn't exist? It is like me telling you that you did not eat today, it is clownish. i can't tell you what you know that you did. You don't even owe me a proof. By the way, i have not met a true christian that is afraid of death. You may be sad or not ready, but afraid? No. i have even seen christians ready and i have read and heard of many more who gladly died, i am sure you have too. We have both heard the horror tales and shiverings of sinners at their deathbed. The world has changed much now though, there is hardly value for life or even one's own life so some already programme themselves to be just animals, Oh that reminds me, never mind.If only in this life we have hope, we are of all men the most miserable. It is a core belief, not something we pick along the way. IF there was no resurrection, there would be no christianity. We are too sure. |
LordReed:Sorry to disappoint you, i have never being disillusioned about God. According to the definition you presented, i have never being disappointed in God or discovered Him to be less good than believed. i know there are people even in the Bible that faced something similar and overcame, like in the Psalms where the Psalmist "lost it" for a while until he became better informed. i seem very lucky to have found God(or be found of God) by very ordinary/natural means in the midst of supernatural happenings. i didn't get saved by some wowing event or miraculous aura. It was just the logical and sensible thing to do. So i guess that helped me not to be the bread and butter, prosperity-gospel christian that many people are and that you seem to have been. i knew the Word of God, what to expect from God, what God promised and what He did not exactly say. Of course i know God is not a magic wand or genie, neither is He going to "answer" every prayer. So i have never had a faith crises of why did God allow/not allow this or that to happen. And i must tell you, things have indeed happened and not happened. But my faith was never based on things in the first place. i've seen genuine children of God suffer in the Bible and in real life, in fact there was a book titled "why do the righteous suffer?" which i read a looong time ago. Fortunately, the only person who can shake my faith in God is me, not the devil or any other person or thing, and me is not alive . |
We've started again abi? These useless religious issues and sentiments are what we're going to ramble about for another 5 years. What an unfortunate country. |
LordReed:This is 100% different from what you quoted though. You are not the first genuine believer to backslide. It is ridiculous to imply what you just implied for every serious person. Every one is not your subjective experience. Ask your spouse evidently. There are people who have gone deeper and continue to go deeper. |
LordReed:And it's a fable because?? Lwkm "you think so". Your poor and funny thoughts yet again. |
LordReed:Joh 11:26 KJV And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? We have Heaven's viewpoint, learn. |
Wrong answer. Your responses are expected to tally with your resume and give more light. Your CV or resume is just an highlight/summary that brings you before the interviewer. You get the job at the interview. |
LordReed:Aim high: an advice i have continued to successfully follow and will not stop following. The Sky, not the grave is our goal. Keep your goal, we'll keep ours. |
LordReed:Wrong answer, it's what you think though not what will be. |
There are many mentally unstable and disabled people in Nigeria sha, what is this doing in religion section? |
One thing i like true and sincere believers for, they are not cultists. They can change their traditions without changing the Word of God. Cult churches will rather defend their traditions forever like the pharisees. |
To get sense no easy oh. Peace is not as costly as war. The greatest freedoms did not kill thousands. |
At least, he no too waste money. Just camera phone and upload. ![]() |
