Wow This woman was a brilliant brilliant brilliant teacher. You need to hear her. There's this whatsapp video I got about her view on education and indigenous learning. I was truly impressed. She spoke pure sense. If only I can get a link to that short video for you all to watch listen to. May her soul rest in peace. She came and conquered. God comforts her family and all left to remember her, amen, |
That's my area na Alaka estate on point But the notice is short. I remember when I first saw the traffic gridlock along Ojo Agbowo road those days, When I saw the one on that Alaka bridge last week, it brought back Ibadan memories. The gridlock is so bad, you can cross without using the pedestrian bridge after Zenith bank |
ugo4u:Quoting your long post for emphasis I once taught in a private school and I allowed hijab not knowing the school didn't permit hijab, scapula, rosary or white beads. But for benefit of hindsight in core southern/Christian states with a few Muslims who are not even indigenous, I noticed hijab is permitted liberally by the people and teachers in government schools. But noooooo not the north! You must cover your hair whether you are Christians or Muslims. Should we talk of the issue of getting c of o to build a church? That will be another post Go figure the building of a church in law school in Bagauda or UDUS or BUT or having fellowship at the new fed uni in Katsina. For reason sake, no apologies, many muslims are not tolerant, peaceful or accommodating. Why suppress other religions and their practise in your terrain and come weep up sentiments in other people's terrain? A non Muslim cannot enter Mecca can we say so about any Christian place? Go and read what led to the problems in Turkey, Lebanon and and even Iran concerning imposition of Islam. Tolerance is not silence or mumu-ness. If someone offends your rules you tell them peacefully. If they don't comply and it's your house you maturely excuse them. If it's their house you excuse yourself. UI is the only university without quota system. It's accommodating. You see places for Muslims to pray just as you see for Christians. Including the wall abi slab built to block the cross between the mosque and the church. All other universities have secondary schools and even primary. No one ought to have religious affiliation but university affiliation. What the Muslims are doing in ISI is an invitation to chaos, loss of academic time, hatred, religious bigotry, child abuse (psychological effect between Muslim and Christian friends who are now kept on opposite divides). During uni I'd Muslim roommates. I'm talking of rooms where we stay 2 oh! They pray i pray. Peace. I didn't disturb with audio recordings or other things and they too didn't. That's harmony. We talked about our faith, ate together, accommodated our guests, friends and sleep over people. I remember how a rev sis was not allowed to wear her habit by a deeper life dean. But that's the rule. No sentiments. The habit of a nun is even more emphasised than the hijab in my opinion because hardly would you see a rev sis without her hair covering but I can't understand when I see Muslim elites, their children or themselves choosing when or when not to wear the hijab. From their pre wedding pictures, to times they go to western countries to even when they attend events in Nigeria, so is it a religious act meant for only the poor, radical or select 'many'? Why can't no one answer? Many Muslim elites do not wear or emphasise hijab. How does it affect learning? The rev sis had a choice to earn her degree or return to the convent. During assembly in schools, do they pray prayers from different religions or do they scrap prayers? Are we heading the way of America, a failed way? What happens in the south (west, east, core south) must be applicable in the north (west, east and central). I'd like to go to Chibok, Dapchi, Funtua, Fegge and among the Zuru people of Kebbi and see the Christian girls allowed to leave their patewo plaited hair uncovered in any school- government or private THEN WE CAN HAVE A CONVERSATION - MUSLIMS AND CHRISTIANS AND YES IFA AND THE REST |
Sickle cell I pray God grants all left to mourn and remember her, the fortitude to bear her passing. When you have something that makes life terminal you tend to what to live life to the fullest. It's not supposed to be so. We should all live life like the day could be our last. Then what would we be remembered for? I lost many of my cousins to sickle cell, sad thing was that they were even younger than I was in age. But full of life. They smiled more, played more and were very intelligent. I've many friends who are SS, epileptic, asthmatic, have cancer and even tumor and other terminal or likely terminal conditions. One, my grand aunty lived to 92 2 things- 1. Live life to the fullest, you don't know when death will come. A doctor does not need to tell you you are terminal, a criminal does not need to tell you say your last prayers, a pastor does not need to tell you the trumpet can sound any time, before you know you should live your life. Be kind, forgiving, adventurous, read, impact, no time for idle talk, gossip, malice, resentment, revenge or carnality. Who sin help? 2. Like someone said, in someone's life time celebrate them, not when they die. Ok who wan come read all those eulogies wey them they write abi type? The next person way go die go tell them when they reach there abi. To fill all those condolence register they hard me. Wetin i wan talk, who I dey talk to for there. Pretty please express your love, worries, complaints, compliments and feelings to people in their life time not just when they die. IME Be motivated |
Please those who sympathise and support LGBTQ and the rest, why don't you support paedophiles Mind you by the law sleeping with a minor is a crime. Minor is 18 years down, so I'm not talking about 4 year olds. If a 14 year old consents to have s.ex with an adult it is a crime and the man or woman will be tagged a paedophile. So what about blood brothers, sister, father and daughter, mother and son who profess s.exual love for each other? They are adults and should be left alone But by law and morality they are liable of the crime of incest Let's not even go to animals and sodomy. In the last days people will have unnatural affection. It's unnatural for a man to have s.ex with a man (adult or child, consent or rape). There's nothing like he was born that way or God hates the sin and not the sinner or David loved Jonathan or Jesus says He will not cast out any who comes to Him. We don't even need the law to ban and criminalise homosexuality. Common sense has done that for us. Your fingers on both hands can lock each other. Your elbow can bend only at an angle, but your hand by your shoulder can rotate in all directions. The male pe.nus fits into the female vagin.a as it was made to. If you try to bend your elbow the other way, you'd break it. All out process body parts are intricately created by the Master Creator God Almighty. God could not have willed homosexuality and not create an entry point between two males or two females. God would have created 2 men and a woman. Or 2 women and a man. By this the man would have had an option of sleeping with a man or a woman as he wishes. The book of Proverbs says we should leave simplicity and follow knowledge. True knowledge comes from God not the devil. It was God Himself Who planted the tree of knowledge not the devil. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God. Being Simple can make you accommodate anything and say every man for his own, wetin concern you. But knowledge makes us know that homosexuality causes- Increase in STDS, HIV AIDS, VVF and cancer of the an us. It causes emotional and psychological imbalance. Causes deep depression (a cans if depression is not bad already). Reduces population (ask Europe). Is the first cousin to paedophiles. It's and way of initiation into sorority, cult groups, entertainment industry, financial industry and politics (once the debp il has a file of your shame he can hold you captive. Remember Jesus Christ came to set the captives free and destroy the works of Satan) Increase price of pads. Increases insecurity (a man can pretend to be gay and use a female toilet and end up raping a female. Or a gay man can overpower and rape a normal man in a toilet. So will men and women be safe around gay people, not to talk of children) The relevant authorities should flag this twitter handle and block it's operations. The Western world feel it's sophistication to have free will and choice. Now they are dealing with high suicide rates and stubborn children. We all need rails (like on a staircase). We need guards. We need checks. We need Jesus! The western world fights more for LGBTQ whatever and act swiftly against any company (Infinix), country (Nigeria) or individual who speak against them than they do for terrorism, racism and rape victims, not to mention poverty, ebola, long rule of presidents in Africa and other social vices. If the western world can Hanney it's energy more in these areas won't the world be a better place. The west is willing to cut off aid to a country who refuses same sex rights, but not a country who condones racism and dictatorship or poverty or bad governance. PLEASE NL JOIN OUR ADVOCACY, SHUN MUSICIANS, SONGS, SERIES, MOVIES, SPORTS PEOPLE, ENTERTAINMENT OTHER POLITICS AND COMPANIES SUPPORT LGBTQ AND PUSH THEIR AGENDA. IF YOU DON'T YOU ARE A SECONDARY SUPPORTER AND ALLY. YOU ARE AN INDIRECT DONOR. IT WAS HARD FOR ME TO CUT OFF FROM ELTON JOHN AND OTHERS BUT I DID. THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR THEIR CAUSE SO WHY CAN'T I FIGHT MINE? IF THEY CAN FIGHT FOR THE LGBTQ CAUSE, I'LL FIGHT FOR THE SAME SEX PROHIBITION LAW, CAUSE, CODE, MORAL, PRACTISE AND RELIGION. I.M.E |

That's good. Even in America that's big money Let's stop this thing of using and dumping people No hero (sports, music, patriot, soldier, police, humanitarian, etc) should be on the streets. Kpatakpata a trust fund or health insurance be set up for them. Imagine Mayweather or Anthony Joshua or Okagbare, or Victor Moses on the streets in 20 years time? God forbid on their behalf |
Good Many people are doing things silently sha |

Pls ladies that hang their undies inside inside room abi toilet cause you are afraid of hanging them outside not to be stolen, you are on your own. Your undies need sun, fresh air and proper dryness after you wash them. Have faith in God. The ritualist's money maker will surely reject your underwear as you are covered by the blood of the Lamb. How careful can you be? You stay in a hostel, you share room, you have flatmates? E jo where you wan hide your undies biko? Do you hear guys hiding their briefs or boxers? If you can share kitchen and leave your food on fire and get something in your room and return without fear of poisoning what is cloth you are afraid of ![]() |
Seun:Please run from some versions oh, they are plainly not in tune! |
enilove:Leave our oga at the top oh Seun and my mother share surname but they are from different states, his my blood oh ![]() Meanwhile @Seun, KJV is the first and other gotten their manuscript from it. That the writers didn't have sufficient tools makes it even better. The original Qu’ran too is in Arabic and many Moslems reject other translations cause of fear of distortion. Enilove like Seun, I'm currently reading the Bible from start, I'm rounding up Job. I'm reading to understand arguments, get facts straight and know the truth. If Jesus did not know scripture Satan would have defeated Him at his temptation. If Paul didn't know scriptures those wise and learned Greeks and even Jews would have ridiculed Him and won arguments against him. Read about Thomas Aquinas and others, knowledge of God's Word gives strength and acknowledging the power therein brings salvation. Let's read the Bible for knowledge, discussions and edification |
