May his soul rest in peace I finally walked Onitsha bridge this past Sunday as I planned My walk was against the incessant killings I however took a bottle of water thinking I may need it and so i won't be stranded. But it was not a long work and I finished the water before getting mid way. Na so to throway bottle come turn problem I dey think say if I throw am for ground, breeze fit blow am enter river, river go come dey gather debris. Na so i hold empty bottle take dey waka till I reach Asaba see where I throway am. Flooding in Nigeria is 70% man made. This is corn season. We still block drains with corn chaff, empty plastic bottles and pure water satchels. Even some who sweep the streets throw the debits inside the gutters. Our canal are fifty and blocked Many roads do not have drains. Natural drains are built upon Rivers need dredging Leaders need human heart, humility and listening ears. They are not experts of all. They have consultants on their pay roll who can't still justify their pay. Ok come to NL and get free advise, insight and suggestions - no way. There are thousands of radio and TV programmes with sound advisers - but no Be inspired

Lord God how can I thank you enough for my life I pass that route often, as I did again just yeasterday and i pass that bridge often with the thought of my dear friend Sola who was plunged into that same river I am in awe of your love and protection I thank you for Sola now gone, Lord i miss Solabut i take solace in you Father I thank you because You are the Creator and I cannot question you Father yet again another accident into that river Jesus save us, save your people Let people not plunge into that river Let there not be deaths Let us not answer the sirens of the evil ones when they call at us Keep us safe over land, sea and in the air. Let us not die outside your plan for our destinies For i am assured that you have a plan for my future To give me a sure hope In Jesus mighty name, amen |

Aderonke - Hmmm... This is just one way of looking at it, sis and I disagree with the generalization. Sometimes, posting catastrophes and narrating the accompanying interventions have a tremendous impact, they inspire! Some people are genuinely ignorant of the extent of hardships, lack and pain that other people are going through and sometimes it takes just one post about a humane deed to trigger their consciousness and trigger similar actions on their part; it can be a call to action. I have experienced these things personally, sis & it works. Motive & intention often matter too. Chioma - The Feeding of the 5,000 is also known as the "miracle of the five loaves and two fish", because the Gospel of John reports that five barley loaves and two small fish supplied by a boy were used by Jesus to feed a multitude. ... They said they only had five loaves of bread and two fish, which Jesus asked be brought to him. If this story wasn't shared we would never have heard of the miraculous wonders of giving.

Shame dey catch me but I'll vote Saraki above Buhari But Buhari (or seat at home) above Atiku This is the sad state Nigeria makes us find ourselves that in a country of over 180million people these are the 'worstest' options we have If only Durotoye, Sowore or Duke can really up their games |
