CultureRe: Criminals Building Camps In Edo Forests — Oba Of Benin by IME1: 10:07pm On Jun 27, 2019
undecided

In 4 years, General Buhari has not built ONE school for Nigerian children. Please don’t take my word for it, Google it. He has not built even one hospital. Please confirm what I just said. Now, this man who has not built a school or hospital for Nigerians wants to build RUGA settlements for herdsmen NATIONWIDE! Majority of these herdsmen are not even Nigerians. Are we a conquered territory?

Not with OUR MONEY.
Not with OUR LAND.
Not in OUR NIGERIA.

Don't really agree because went further to adjust his nose, permed his hair, prevented his natural baritone or male voice from evolving and others.

I blame his handlers 99% and himself 1%
But it's too late

PoliticsRe: Abducted Ex-minister’s Son Regains Freedom by IME1: 7:01am On Jun 20, 2019
israelmao:
I have once said if Leah Sharibu were one of the daughters of the power-that-be in the Aso Rock she would have been rescued long ago.Leah Sharibu is spending her 485th day in the Boko Haram's captivity today but it's amazing within 24hours that son of an immediate past minister was abducted his freedom was secured.Where is Leah Sharibu?
It's a pitiable condition. I can imagine how Leah's life has been halted, school, family, friends, awareness of what's going on, access to clean water, food, clothes, shelter and general peace of mind.
Yet it woke up to see this on my aunty's FB page ·
He has not done anything but:

Who built Zik Mausoleum?

Who started Ogoni CleanUp?

Who made June12 Democracy Day?

Who gave Abiola GCFR and Fawehinmi GCON?

Who paid Biafran Soldiers Gratuities?

Who settled all NITEL Staff Gratuities?

Who brought joy to the faces of Nigeria Airways Retirees?

Who gave Ariaria Market Aba 24 hours electricity?

Who named Abuja National Stadium MKO Abiola NATIONAL Stadium?

Who bailed out State Governments in order to settle outstanding Salaries Arrears inherited from previous government?

Who increased minimum wage from 18k to 30k?

Who made local rice sufficient in Nigeria?

Who is making Nigeria a Tomato Paste hub?

Who is feeding School Pulpis nationwide?

Who pays Npower stipends to young people?

Who is constructing bridges, rails and roads across the country?

Who is fighting BokoHaram?

Who is fighting orchestrated and deliberate criminal activities by bandits, herders, farmers and hooligans?

Who is making natural and steady, realistic progress on the economy?

Okay, who is that Leader who openly declared his assets twice without stealing, hiding any state resources?
Only the blind don't see

Inasmuch as I celebrate with the Adewole family and commend our security operatives, it beats me hollow that such celebration and commendation cannot be made by me and a vast majority of others when people of no influence, not much money or no money at all, cannot access security, release from danger or captivity among a vast number of other things which we ought to enjoy as merely being CITIZENS OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA

Well,
I don't know what to say but we can never be so wise that we stop to put our trust in God the Holy Spirit to direct us.
We are in the age of the manifestation of the Spirit.
Our forebears did not have such worries.
They freely married Virgins male and female and had offspring.

Now what do you say to the Khadashian woman who only after many years had her husband turn to woman, could she have known?
What of daddy Freeze's cohabitator her story is that has husband was/is gaya, how could she have known after about 4 children?

The list is endless, imagine if people like Denrele and Bobrisky are actually heterosexuals and those macho unmarried celebs are gaya and the hotel feminine ones are lesbian or busexuals

Them they know finish? No

So for me and my household we would serve the Lord God and trust in the Holy Spirit

asuustrike1:
You are absolutely correct however why are our public university lecturers wicked( not all)? Many are sadist, they prefer to delay their students for years than let them graduate especially at PhD level. The Pull Him Down Syndrome is prevalent in many public universities that is why many are leaving for private. The cost of studying postgraduate degree overseas is high that is why many opt in for private universities as an alternative. I have a friend that did PhD for 7 years at uniben, 10 years at unizik yet these schools have good publications.
My wish is for people who went/go through this sadist experiences to turn the tables around when they too assume the positions of authority and influence.

But no,
Most times its a vicious cycle
Just sad

Sadly I won't advice anyone who has the means either by way of scholarship or self sponsorships to pursue phd in Nigeria private or public.
It's well

Yes many private universities are not accredited for pg but public universities aren't exempted either infact many departments over there should ban from admitting pg students.

A great public university circumvent pg rules just to generate revenue from pg students. They keep on admitting yet the number of graduates are few. However it is rare to see such in many private universities that is why many are opting for them.

.
How does the bolded relate? An m.sc holder with some years of experience can't supervise m.sc students in many universities including private universities.

Igbinedion university aren't serious from day one. It cost more to travel abroad to do postgraduate degree even though it worth it. Although these are you views however some of your assertions are not totally correct.
I've seen msc holders supervising msc at both private and public universities undecided
EducationRe: Can I Complete Masters In Law Under 18 Months In A Nigerian Uni? by IME1: 9:01pm On May 06, 2019
asuustrike1:
Explain further there must be a reason
Many private uni don't have the needed manpower/brain power to teach and supervise PG
In my humble opinion PG lecturers are people who are at the apex who have tested their knowledge.
You know you can't give what you don't have.
The lecturers in public uni are most times thoroughly checked within before assigned PG students to teach and supervise.
But pri uni mostly rely on adjunct lecturers, young lecturers and not thoroughly qualified staff (due to inability to pay, keep and attract very good hands) WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO ALL, I MEAN ALL PRIVATE UNIVERSITY LECTURERS, I love you all grin

I know things are changing.
As I said I've been in both
I know this view of mine may soon change
But you and I know that it would be difficult for any private university to pay better that public universities or offer better packages like trainings, further studies and other incentives for their staff (lecturers).

In my opinion I'd rather sit under a tree (plato abi socrates style) and learn under a thorough bred teacher/lecturer than sit in an AC class with teachers that are not so empowered with all they need to give what I don't have

Bros you go pay me for this consultation oh

Welrez:
What is wrong with doing postgraduate at a private university in Nigeria? Please, enlighten a brother.
MOST pri uni are not accredited for PG
To get accreditation for PG
There are stringent requirements
Even where they use ogboju to get accreditation
You have to wonder on the competence of the staff to supervise and teach

A great pub uni did not admit the yr I wanted to further they did not have required supervisors
And that is a great pub uni

Pri uni only guaranty u speed because of d pay u will pay, and trust me, u will pay!

PG is a higher level and academic acquisition than under grad
While a first degree holder (2.1 or 1st class) can teach at under grad level both pri and pub unis
A phd holder or master degree holder with some years experience must teach and supervise at the PG level.

Igbinedion uni which is d 1st pri uni is marking 20 years and using that to reason d other pri uni u will know that they are not fully ready (I doubt if there is a lecturer in Igbinedion uni who has been there for the 20 yrs). Funny thing is that I know a number of lecturers that got their PG degrees from some pri uni

Mind you I hear great things about Covenant and AUN but me oh, I doubt if I can go to a pri uni for PG I'd rather go abroad.

Just my view

There was a post a while back showing Ilorin (Kwara by my own personal extension)
They truly did not do justice in showing private and other government infrastructures

FYI Landmark is in Omu Aran in Kwara.

In Ekiti, when they highlight sights and sounds of the state they show Afe Babalola university which is private.

The op to the thread on Ilorin should extend it to the whole Kwara and show Kwasu, Al Hikman (don't mind my spelling) and Landmark, including the other structures like Michael Imodu and AMTI (hope I got the spelling)
