My interview is on Friday and I'm wondering where I can get a prepaid envelope and the cost. Also should the envelope be addressed to the embassy? And I've got my transcript do I need to take it to the embassy along with other documents too? Or no need.
Then lastly any other information I need to know regarding my interview will be appreciated. I'm going to Leibniz University Hannover Msc Physics.

I plan on going to Germany for my spine surgery by June. But I intend to extend my stay basically for my physiotherapy. But I have a question, how do I get a permanent residence with medical visa?

If I buy a business or start up one can they give me a PR? Also will like to register for my pgd and masters, any advice on how extend my 3months medical visa after my surgery.

Honestly sum'thn just happened right now and I can't even lie this time...
My interview is coming and I've been thinking of what to wear...can I just go without a tie because honestly speaking I don't like wearing them...because I'm seriously angry if I have to use a tie in suit
Or I have to be dressed in the full package. Does it really count?

I have a 1 yr field work experience in building (residential/
commercial) construction. And subsequent times during my
5yrs of school.
With knowledge of design softwares for:

Architectural design
Construction supervision
Project management
Project cost analysis
Structural design.

I have 2yrs (early 2020) left before I move over, so i have
started a self taught German class now which I hope (by
God's Grace) to diligent follow so my German will improve to
atleast a B1/B2 before I begin my applications.

My brother what do you expect from someone who didn't sleep last night and just finished the long awaited interview.I will take some sleep first before I respond to anything again. Make him collect am by hand na; even my school suggested mine then but I insist they should give it to me by hand since it's just a certificate to prove my undegraduate studies was in English and it was done.

Find an organization that you can address it to in your area. Because if you address it to Uni-assist you will pay higher because it is international.The bad part is that if addressed to Uni-assist, you have to reapply for another transcript for your visa application because the original will be required.

still on this same issue of confirmation of booking, i booked for interview and hv mailed the embassy twice now to know if my booking was successful, yet no response.

plz for those that already did interview, how did the automatic mail received confirming the booking look like?
was it entirely in german like mine?
was about cancelling and rebooking through the link sent to me, and saw it on the page to cancel that I have booked and if ready to cancel should click on cancel

I'm just lost and confused, someone who has already gone for the interview should plz say something

In the Visa Requirements list they mentioned passport pictures according to biometric specifications and prepaid courier envelope.

1. What is the biometric specification?
2. What are the details of the courier envelope? Should it be addressed (to whom)? And about how much should it cost @DHL/FedEx?

It is 50/50 My brother because lots of question will asked why he/she has decided to run another Masters. So he/she need valid and reasonable point to convince them at the Interview.

Note: it is never to Bad to run another Masters. Just get your facts in point to let them know the reasons

Immafrank, does it mean that if someone apply to University of Postdam ONLY via uni-assist, you won’t pay ANYTHING at all to uni-assist?

Thanks for your response. My deadline is January 15th, and its for Winter semester.

The application to the other school (FAU) is for Summer semester and that’s my first choice. I sent the documents to Hannover about a week before sending to FAU. So I wanted to see if Hannover have received my docs so I can be sure FAU too will receive it since the mail was not registered.


I have checked the application status, it is not showing me anything that indicates they have received the hard copies of my documents.

Was there any change in your own status from when you submitted the online form and when they received your hard copies?
